Tbh Sombra is a fantastic damage boost target if she's attacking along with the rest of your team, especially since her ult charges so damn quickly, almost to the point of being broken. The main thing holding her back is the fact that Sombra's attack pattern is usually a cycle of hit-and-run, and most Sombras are forced to run pretty often due to her long reload and lack of burst damage. I've had games where I managed to get EMP almost every fight because our Mercy gave me Damage Boost and health sustain when I engaged, allowing me to fight longer before retreating, it's great
Never thought of the Pharah and you getting separated through roofs like that being an issue. I use prefer beam on, so have never really gotten separated like that ig haha Also, I love boosting Sombra after she EMPs chances are if she throws translocator to EMP she’s in a more sticky positions so damage boost and heals help her greatly in that situation :p Oh I do want to add with Torbs Ult. So correct me if I’m wrong. But I believe if you boost him, as he shoots it (because of the damage boost changes) it stays boosted on the ground for the duration of the Ult. So if you boost one of the “globs” of lava where ever it lands it’ll do increased damage until it disappears
Im always kinda hesitant to pocket widows because im afraid my bright blue beam will give away their positioning to the enemy team. Specially in begining of the match :/

pleeeeassse as a Masters Sombra main with nearly 400 hours on her, HEAL us if we're with the team. I think a lot of people think "oh she has hacked health packs, so I can ignore her" but that is soooooo wrong. The only time we should be using health packs as our main source of healing is when we're flanking (and we aren't really able to do that much anymore). Since the shield meta happened, flanking has become a joke with her (since her time to kill is so high and there's so much healing from Moira being meta on top of all of the cover afforded by two shields) so she's going to be with the team a LOT more often than she used to. It's sad but her role has turned into "sit in the backline and wait for Doomfist to fly in so you can hack him because its the one niche that she fills extremely well" so she's generally going to be with the healers pretty often since that's Doomfist's favorite meal. Anything we heal on a hacked healthpack is ult charge that our healers aren't getting. That used to balance out since Sombra herself would get ult charge from healthpacks but when that was changed a while back, it winds up hurting your team in the long run if you have a Sombra only healing off healthpacks since you go from having 5 players getting healed by a healer to 4 players being healed by a healer. This is especially bad if the other team has 5 being healed at all times while your own team just has 4 because of the Sombra. Also keep in mind that EMP is still one of the most powerful ults in the game. The more you damage boost your Sombra, the more often she's going to have it. Her damage already being kind of low paired with that global ult charge nerf of 12% that happened a while back, means that she is going to struggle to get ult sometimes. Damage boost will REALLY help with that. The games where I dominate usually have a Mercy that heals and boosts me whenever she can.
_ethereal-star_ don’t go out of your way to heal us if we’re in a bad spot. If you think it’s going to reveal us, don’t do it. Zarya’s are bad about bubbling us while invis in backlines and it gets us killed more often than not because the enemy team just sees a bubble with no one inside of it running around and it tells them where the invis Sombra is. In general, if something you’re going to do will reveal your Sombra, don’t do it lol. Only try to heal us if it’s safe for both you and the Sombra for you to do it.
I'm low key one of the best pairings for Mercy. I would say Gency definitely competes with Pharamercy in-game. Especially at the higher levels of play.
Ashe mercy is amazing. Today I got 7000 dmg amplified and my ashe did 37000 dmg that match. Dmg boost dynamite is god tier its mercys 3rd best pocket after pharmacy and gency
I think u can really see how much more self confident u have become since i started watching u (like 4-5 months ago if im right). A really good example is the part where u were "shouting" at the Tracer to switch
A Good Reaper is 100% a carry in Diamond/Plat and lower. A good one will usually do this cycle: TP behind the enemy, attempt to get a pick, get down to low health, Wraith back to the team. Mercy beam is really long so literally the second he’s in range I lock on. The faster he’s back to harassing the back line the better. And usually Reaper will TP to high ground when he’s about to Ult so when you see it Blue Beam right away. Boosted Death Blossom SHREDS.
Chile you falling behind the roof is such a mood and sometimes it even happens with doomfists or genji when they go over that roof and just didn't managed to get over it and slide off XD

Honestly, as a long time Symmetra main? The best possible pairing with a Mercy is straight up heal pocketing. Attach that heal beam and let the symmetra run into battle, and simply by keeping her guaranteed alive, she'll ramp up from level 1 to level 3 damage and dust the opposition with 180 dps! Just by giving her that reassurance that she won't be immediately focused into the ground by the enemy team, she can run in and kill just about everybody
Ugh I cringed at the sombra section, in most every 2cp and KOTH map you can both be positioned “properly” while being within range, on Paris second point if I’m on the right and team is down the main on attack the positioning is “proper” but you could still attend to me, I’d rather the support get the healing done for ultimate charge back to our team than just padding my useless healing statistic
when i first started playing ow (may 2019) i was put into bronze, around 1200. i climbed up to gold and i was stuck in gold for really long time before making it into plat!! i was gonna give up but i did placements on an alt account and got 2950. i dropped quickly and then got stuck in plat lol. my boyfriend is helping my climb up to diamond n i’m currently at 2800 :)
Also be careful not to damage boost pharah's self damage if she does a rocket jump and just heal it off right away. You can also just tell her "go ahead and rocket jump, i'll heal you"

When you are caught out try playing around hog because of his giant hit box will absorb damge and his characters model gives a lot of visual interference. Rien just DB fire strikes and swings. In general in valk try to keep beam on rien since your team will be grouped around him. Wreaking ball is like d.va and Winston just DB his dives. Zarya is one of the besr DB targeys on barriers if she isn't at low charge.

Well, the obvious use of the information re: "what it looks like when you beam an invisible Sombra" is "realize you should be very, very careful about doing it". After all, you can see for yourself how it draws a very large and very visible line for the enemies to visually follow to exactly where the invisible Sombra is, either to shoot there or just not worry about her being somewhere else. Do heal her if she needs it, just be careful.
Now i used to be a DPS, but people were flaming me for throwing Then i started maining tank which was fun for a while, but it wasn't fun unless i played roadhog(kept feeding) Now i'm playing support which is kinda in between. I sometimes notice that my team leaves me behind or they leave my line of sight.i play every healer especially lucio and ana(satisfying sleep darts and boops)
I think widow is a good pocket mostly because, just like tracer, its crucial to keep her at full hp at all times. Also she usually gets bopped in the head for the one shot so with rez she basically has 2 tries in the widow 1v1. Sucks u dont get much ult charge from dmg boost anymore tho
So as a mercy and brig and Moira main the best healers to use with mercy is brig Moira and maybe even Lucio. Why I said Lucio and not Ana is because Lucio is a great healer when everyone’s in a group while he is doing some slow healing mercy can help out with that group heals by giving some healing to each person on the team untill he gets his amp ready brig is a great pick with mercy she can whip shot a enemy quickly and get some healing up for the teach and use armour packs for her 2 tanks like Orisa or rein and sigma not much for roadhog because of his 600 health and for the self heal orisa only has 400 hp so if she’s max hp the armour pack is great to use for her just because of the armour to help her take less damage rein for he gets almost has much hp like roadhog and sigma for he can get his shield back and take less damage before he uses his smaller defence matrix thing and for mercy she will mostly use them for her and and keep mercy alive because she’s the main healer and Moira for because she can not self heal unless it’s her damage beam or her heal orb and could do lots of damage when damage boosted while using her ult if she wants to go in and if the Moira needs to stay alive if she’s getting hit to hard it’s great to even heal her for she can heal her self a bit more and it’s a great thing to do a damage boost for she can get her heal beam charge back maybe healing would work if she doesn’t get most back by getting a damage beam on her but the thing is Ana is great from behind while mercy is a movement and upfront healer Ana doesn’t have any movement abilities that’s why I think she would be great if she has a Lucio speed boost even the same goes with zen he is super weak for lots of fights right when the nerf comes out for double shield he will be more viable and mercy works great with baptiste not just because he can keep her alive but he works great for his ult with a damage boost from a valk so it gets everyone to mostly destroy people it’s like if thanos snapped just in overwatch and you don’t need a valk you can even have an orisa ult now like how said before he can keep mercy alive more with his immortality field and he can’t heal himself if a mercy player don’t know about super jumps it’s a great way for she can’t get into the air for his super jump now even dvas and Winston’s can help you up and it might be better with Winston but that’s only on more control point maps not mixture maps or payload maps like for example the first point of hanamura a baptiste can use his super jump for she can get higher up and get cover instead of going to high and getting sniped from the top windows it’s a horrible idea to use a pharah or Winston because they go to high while baptiste is the perfect height so those are just the healers just with widows and others then eh it could work just wanted to say healers for now. I don’t play dps or much tank I play mostly healers now I was all the way back then a sym main untill I tried mercy I felt like it was a good thing to play both mercy for damage and healing while sym for her shields that recharge and this was all the way back in 1.0 for sym now when 2.0 came out she was great for mercy to get back in battle before she can do 1 person Rez now listen I don’t say I’m better then niandra I say I’m kind of like her with mercy I don’t do risky rezs like most mercy’s I don’t always have good valks and stuff and I have started playing on summer 2016 so a month after Ana came out and I never heard of the game before untill my brother got the game. Ok that’s enough story time and stuff I’ll go now I’ve sat here for 30 minutes.....
i recently switched angel prefers bveam target off and its in some ways usefull but i really miss being still abkle to fly towards teammates even thos vision is interupted
I really like playing overwatch with my friends but they are all a couple hundred sr below me, what are some things I could do to work better with them?
Depends, if they want to get better then I would suggest to them that they watch guides, vod reviews, and to go back through their own games and have them point out their mistakes. If they think they dont need to do this, that they can't improve or whatever the reason is, then you really just need to work around them. Call outs and communication will help a lot as well. If you take charge of a match most people will follow.

May I ask, should I be healing when your invisible? I don’t want your position to be revealed, so as a Sombra main is it really helpful.

I think widow is a good pocket mostly because, just like tracer, its crucial to keep her at full hp at all times. Also she usually gets bopped in the head for the one shot so with rez she basically has 2 tries in the widow 1v1. Sucks u dont get much ult charge from dmg boost anymore tho

So as a mercy and brig and Moira main the best healers to use with mercy is brig Moira and maybe even Lucio. Why I said Lucio and not Ana is because Lucio is a great healer when everyone’s in a group while he is doing some slow healing mercy can help out with that group heals by giving some healing to each person on the team untill he gets his amp ready brig is a great pick with mercy she can whip shot a enemy quickly and get some healing up for the teach and use armour packs for her 2 tanks like Orisa or rein and sigma not much for roadhog because of his 600 health and for the self heal orisa only has 400 hp so if she’s max hp the armour pack is great to use for her just because of the armour to help her take less damage rein for he gets almost has much hp like roadhog and sigma for he can get his shield back and take less damage before he uses his smaller defence matrix thing and for mercy she will mostly use them for her and and keep mercy alive because she’s the main healer and Moira for because she can not self heal unless it’s her damage beam or her heal orb and could do lots of damage when damage boosted while using her ult if she wants to go in and if the Moira needs to stay alive if she’s getting hit to hard it’s great to even heal her for she can heal her self a bit more and it’s a great thing to do a damage boost for she can get her heal beam charge back maybe healing would work if she doesn’t get most back by getting a damage beam on her but the thing is Ana is great from behind while mercy is a movement and upfront healer Ana doesn’t have any movement abilities that’s why I think she would be great if she has a Lucio speed boost even the same goes with zen he is super weak for lots of fights right when the nerf comes out for double shield he will be more viable and mercy works great with baptiste not just because he can keep her alive but he works great for his ult with a damage boost from a valk so it gets everyone to mostly destroy people it’s like if thanos snapped just in overwatch and you don’t need a valk you can even have an orisa ult now like how said before he can keep mercy alive more with his immortality field and he can’t heal himself if a mercy player don’t know about super jumps it’s a great way for she can’t get into the air for his super jump now even dvas and Winston’s can help you up and it might be better with Winston but that’s only on more control point maps not mixture maps or payload maps like for example the first point of hanamura a baptiste can use his super jump for she can get higher up and get cover instead of going to high and getting sniped from the top windows it’s a horrible idea to use a pharah or Winston because they go to high while baptiste is the perfect height so those are just the healers just with widows and others then eh it could work just wanted to say healers for now. I don’t play dps or much tank I play mostly healers now I was all the way back then a sym main untill I tried mercy I felt like it was a good thing to play both mercy for damage and healing while sym for her shields that recharge and this was all the way back in 1.0 for sym now when 2.0 came out she was great for mercy to get back in battle before she can do 1 person Rez now listen I don’t say I’m better then niandra I say I’m kind of like her with mercy I don’t do risky rezs like most mercy’s I don’t always have good valks and stuff and I have started playing on summer 2016 so a month after Ana came out and I never heard of the game before untill my brother got the game. Ok that’s enough story time and stuff I’ll go now I’ve sat here for 30 minutes.....
i recently switched angel prefers bveam target off and its in some ways usefull but i really miss being still abkle to fly towards teammates even thos vision is interupted

Depends, if they want to get better then I would suggest to them that they watch guides, vod reviews, and to go back through their own games and have them point out their mistakes. If they think they dont need to do this, that they can't improve or whatever the reason is, then you really just need to work around them. Call outs and communication will help a lot as well. If you take charge of a match most people will follow.
