Vintage ARR Kyosho Raider Update / Body Repair

I finally start work on the Flea Market ARR Kyosho Raider. The body was in very rough shape, but with some Shoe Goo and drywall mesh tape I was able to save it. My plan for this RC is to fix it up as a runner. All my parts are in...just need to get it cleaned up and repair any damage that I may find. Please check back as I continue to revive this old RC!

Should be an easy and enjoyable project...although it's missing both motor brackets. Hoping they are not needed or I can fabricate new ones. Seems like the one I ran as a kid (bought it used) didn't have them.

Those old stock bodies were often paper thin at times. I am not sure if it was a cost saving thing or just to make molding them a lot easier and quicker but there is a big difference between vintage and modern shells for sure! You did a goo job getting it all patched back up and ready action!!
