I had SO much fun tandeming with Cam! Watch till the end for all the tandem action 😛. Check out Cam's channel here to watch his build! - www.youtube.com/@CamMartonDrift
Those windows do more than reduce mass they also help intake on a 2 stroke. Size and shape of them relative to the intake in the case determines what they do and when
I ran one of these engines with no exhaust, a cheap internet special with no actual expansion chamber, a stock kids dirtbike exhaust with an expansion chamber, and a supposed high performance exhaust... the stock exhaust from a kids dirtbike is the one that created to most torque and top end.
Love watching the updates on the kart. Do some frame mods and you can fit a predator 212 from harbor freight on it. You won't be disappointed and you'll wish you did it sooner. Stock form will have that kart running 40mph depending on gearing and weight of rider.
I love your videos a lot a man and I am thinking about making my own little drift many full Willer and I love what you all are doing keep making more videos like this
The new motor now wants to rev higher so the gearing is a must as the torque limit is the tiny ass crank you want high revs at all times 30kph instead of 50kph for wheel spin 👌
the principle is that you supersonic the denser unburnt gases back into the combustion chamber just before it closes on the e intake stroke to increase compression and fuel ect
i built my homemade scooter with the same engine, advanced the timing by widening the hole on the coil pack and move it. got the engine really cheap because these are used in weed wackers in my country
What you wanna do is fill the crank case with bog and seal the bog, this will compress the precharge into the cylinder and drill some 1mm holes behind the top ring on the piston in a star configuration. This will expand the ring for better compression. Note when filling the crank case with bog keep turning the engine over as to not have any clearance issues.
Hopefully yall see this have just got into watching the drift kart series watched them all one after the other one last thing i could recomend yous try is the watercooled versions of them motors there actually bored out to like 66-77cc and are used in the adult pocket rockets they race i had one as a kid an they put out atleast 2-3x the power of them motors hopefully yous see this an try it out would me a mental little machine with the watercooled version of that motor
They look like theyre always about to loop out, surely its a riot. With cams parts one you should extend tbe frame to see if it makes them easier or worse to steer
They’re twitchy that’s for sure. We have plans to extend the wheel base which will make them a bit easier to steer. One things for sure, they’re bloody fun!!
24mn carb, billet reducer intake manifold, carbinfiber reed valve, 2° timing key and 47mm stroker head, cylinder, rod and piston. You can get a geo super dirt to go 85 km/h. Im not sure what the 4 wheeler chases will do
The exhaust port is to low some of the piston will be blocking that off making a bit of resistance in the pressure escaping the cylinder head might want to check that just to make sure its still clearing
You really need to use some kind of exhaust/expansion chamber. 2 strokes rely totally on expansion chamber design, otherwise its just a loud whipper snipper.
expansion chamber needs to be at least 30 cm long. 1 inch exhaust header and 1 inch exhaust pipe exit. the center of the expansion needs to be 120 mm long and 100 mm diameter obviously cones on each end. i had my 50 cc Husser scooter up to 110 kph before i blew the sparkplug out the hole with thread attached. i also made custom 26mm stainless intake and strapped an ag 100 carb to it ported and polished exhaust and intake. also max length on header pipe wants to be no more than 150 mm
different sprocket size and tooth count on sed sprockets is how you could change gearing ill be watching my bro im loving the Bild keep up the good work. @@itsmikelake
The fins on the flywheel is to keep the motor cool hopefully it doesn't hot to and melt a piston😢...but overall great build dude I love it and I'm surprised how strong those tiny 50cc engines are..😂😅
with experience in modding thing like the Honda GX200 and clones of it (as found on waterblasters) the Billet Aluminium flywheels that are designed for 3 times the revs of the standard engine have 1/2 the number of vanes, sometimes less, depending on the manufacturer and expected rev range... more fins create a massive amount of drag and cool the engine too much, as the engine is designed for kids, the engine is designed to run constantly at 1/2 revs, as long as he's maxing it out most of the time, it wont overheat.
Yeah I’ll keep an eye on the engine temps as well as I can 😅 but I did feel the amount of air it was pushing and it didn’t seem to different from the stock flywheel! I can’t believe how much punishment these motors can take haha
your main issue is the bad motor, those things are puny for a 50cc and can barely make any power at all, i have a few recommendations. If you want gears, go for a am6 or a rabasa/d50b0 engine, these are used on mopeds and have gearboxes and are actually good quality and they have a bunch of part manufacturers for them, if you want to keep it 50cc, high end 50cc cylinders are made for these things by bidalot, and you can also bore them up all the way to 115cc. They sell specialized ignition systems, exhausts, carbs, reeds, anything you could think of, this will truly give that kart the power it needs. Another option would be to use engines found in 2 stroke scooters, they are CVT meaning no transmission, so its easier to drive, just put a scooter engine onto there and mod a sprocket onto the wheel mount and you have wayy more power.
Get a HP racing carby for throttle response, Make sure you have a fuel tank petcock or a mid way above the carby, itll go so ham, did the same to my "HP Racing 49cc dirtbike and it made a massive difference 🤙🏼
Just throw them engines in the rubbish and buy a 212cc stationary engine or a 125cc-140cc pitbike engine.. aswell as sorting your steering lock out 😂 we build modified copies of revives ones
Haha yeah we’re building up to that but I like seeing what we can get out of the wee engines first 😁. I’m in the middle of painting the frame at the moment and have dialled in a bunch more lock 👊🏻

What's the link to the bottle and nitrous bottles
@noahdurgin4707 Just go most bigger shops arebuy the whipped creamer and go to a back alley to buy the CO2 cannisters

Yeah Cams kart with the stock expansion chamber seems to go awesome?!
Now I definitely need to see the turbo

Love ya videos mate I’m actually making one myself atm, I think you should 125cc swap it like the actual drift karts that they sell!
You need a cheeky playlist for the drift kart build 👌
Ooft you’re correct! I’ll slap that together tonight 🤙🏻
I love your videos a lot a man and I am thinking about making my own little drift many full Willer and I love what you all are doing keep making more videos like this
Did all this back in the day with trikes… looks just as fun 🤘🏼
The new motor now wants to rev higher so the gearing is a must as the torque limit is the tiny ass crank you want high revs at all times 30kph instead of 50kph for wheel spin 👌
yessss!!! raising the roof of the exhaust port! finally! lol. G up!! enjoy that extra torque now :)
It’s so much better! Can’t wait to test it properly this weekend 😁
its gunna sing with everything combined! now try the rc nitro mix fuel lol. @@itsmikelake

Gots to refinish the chassis paint and tart her up next ! Leopard print seat cover 😂
Epic 🤙 I’m getting some new parts for mine soon.
y’all ever thought of predator 212 swapping them?? There are plenty of aftermarket parts.
i built my homemade scooter with the same engine, advanced the timing by widening the hole on the coil pack and move it.
got the engine really cheap because these are used in weed wackers in my country
That works also! So good how many mods you can do on these motors 👌🏻
@@itsmikelake yeah i saw some peoples put chainsaw carb on then too! they said it feeds in more fuel and is more responsive
Y’all should put grocery carts on them 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
the holes in the piston are actually ther to let the fuel and air mixture into the bottom end sooner.
I’m constantly learning 😇 haha
What a unit.... love it

i loved this episode so much that i want to by one like this.

love watching your vids mate keep it up im going to friday knight drifts this friday cant wair gonna be so good
Thanks Harry! Can’t wait to see everyone at the drifts 😁. Going to be a great weekend 🤙🏻
the expansion chamber should be calculated for the engine, find someone who knows this and then see the power
Hell yeah 🤙
Instead of modifying the flywheel for the timing you could instead adjust the position of the magneto to get the same effect
They look like theyre always about to loop out, surely its a riot. With cams parts one you should extend tbe frame to see if it makes them easier or worse to steer

The built for sure😂😂😂
I want to build one so bad that is so cool
The exhaust port is to low some of the piston will be blocking that off making a bit of resistance in the pressure escaping the cylinder head might want to check that just to make sure its still clearing
Rips nicely I'm still curious how your diy expansion chamber pipe would run on it or even a second try at a new one for the new setup
you need to change the clutch you have 3 spring but you can buy with 2 springs and it will get more power
yeah!!
You really need to use some kind of exhaust/expansion chamber.
2 strokes rely totally on expansion chamber design, otherwise its just a loud whipper snipper.
you can actually do a 70cc build on these engines! it requires modding though!

The windows in the piston are NOT for mass reduction
I fukin luv these things im getting a pocket bike for christmas and they have thw same motor its should be fun
Hell yeah. You’ll love them. Hours of fun haha 👌🏻
@itsmikelake yea I cant wait
I thought the flywheel was magnetic or overtime does it become magnetised?
Hey what wheels you using gonna make my own
Nice drifting 😂
Haha it’ll get better as we refine the karts 😅👌🏻
@@itsmikelake one day I'll make one for me and my kid 🥹😂❤️🔥 i started to college money 💰 for it 😁
Removing fins equals meltdown? Balancing

You should put a 65 or a 85 dirt bike motor in it
We’ll definitely upgrade the motor soon 👀
It’s soo loud I thought it was a chainsaw yesterday at the track we could hear it over the race cars
They need to get an exhaust for it, it would be even more powerful and quite too
I was wondering if you’d be able to hear it 🤣. Sorry I didn’t make it to the track!
Still waiting for my Epic high 5 for closest guess NA & NOS! I was only 0.2hp off both figures?
Oh snap! HIGH FIVE YA LEGEND! ✋🏻
I’ll give ya one in person soon haha

Try using chainsaw carburetor
I think tou get bigger carbbys for them

turbo ?
It’s making a comeback in the next week or so 😁
Bro put the turbo
Soon 😈
Just 125 2 stroke swap it
Soon my friend 😈
I was a bit worried about the flywheel being unbalanced when you broke off the fins like that. I’d look for a billet flywheel
Seems good so far! No weird vibrations 🤔 but time will tell haha
BOOST GAUGE.
All you do is grind the key way down
I widened the divet in the flywheel so I can adjust mine 😇
you are braking the motor when u are driving it without exhaust
I pulled it apart and it still looks great inside 🤙🏻
