Never gets old listening to INXS
there are no more bands like this now
Сейчас нет того интереса к рок музыке,сейчас правят искусственный интеллект электронной музыки
This stuff was magic when it came out. It still is.
Sad, but true.
They were funk, rock, pop dark..everything mix perfectly..and they had amazing singer
Rest in peace Mr Michael Hutchence❤
Love from Italy to INXS
I love his soul
Simply one of the greatest videos ever made and the boys put a lot of work into it. Great musicians!
Everything about this song is perfect. The baseline, the drumming, the lyrics, the singing, the rhythmn, this is one of a kind.
Bass line
It's got a saxophone too
Can't be still and listen to this one!
The stepped up notes on the saxophone are really great too.
Completely agree. One of a kind!
Still fucking awesome all these years later.
Dig the sax and rhythm guitar work no wonder big hit......dance music
This song is 39 years old.
He died at age 37.
The song has been here, longer than he lived. And still we all love it.
Damn......I remember exactly what I was doing when I heard on the radio he passed away......very sad day....yes kids we used to listen to the radio.......stay blessed
I’m turning 36 soon, now I see why it’s so hard to get here
Hutch is still one of the best rock frontmen ever. Legendary.
I kinda see Jim Morrison
I love him but would also throw in jagger, robert plant and steven tyler and jim morrison
Agreed they don't get better
@@overcomerbtboj I'd add Freddie Mercury and Steve Perry.
The natural successor to Jagger
the older I get the more I realize what a truly awesome band these guys were and how uniquely kick ass their sound is
I agree. Them and Tears for Fears!
I agree with both of you.
They call it "Talent", something today's generations sadly knows nothing of the word. We have Nostalgia for the Era we grew up in, but, these new generations only re-hash our generations greatest! They will not know this feeling.
SI SEÑOR ...ESPECTACULARES
POCA GLORIA PARA ELLOS...
Same!
I don’t listen to INXS as often as I should, but when I do, so do the neighbors!
Yes, yes, baaaaybee!
♥️♥️♥️🕊😘😘😘
I would like to be your neighbor
ligza jaya I second that
👏👏👏👏👏👏
Happy Birthday Michael!!! He would have been 64 today. Gone and never forgotten.
Никогда ему не исполнится столько,он прожил всего 37 лет и ушел в расцвете
He has been missed 😢
He straggled himself whilst jacking off..
My favorite INXS song. Still killing in 2022 . Michael voice the best ever
It’s a banger
Thank you
After all of these years, it never gets old for me!
This one hits the spot. Always has.
He's 1 of my heroes!
Can you believe that Hutch passed away nearly 25 years ago now 😢
Gone but not forgotten, absolute legend 🙏
Legend
Oh shit! ....sad
STILL pissed . INXS became yet another band Warner Bros ripped off . The majority of the David Lee Roth era of Van Halen albums the band didn't make any money from . Their FIRST royalty checks were about 80 dollars each .
Hell of a group. R.I.P. to the lead singer.
If you can listen to this song and not move you don't have a pulse! We need music like this now
It's what I need to blow off the cobwebs.
True dat
It's impossible to not feel pumped up with INXS.
What I need is for someone to make a really good INXS documentary.
Снимали и даже художественный
I agree 100%
If this song came out now, it would still be a huge hit, the 80's had the best music
SXI96 Agree and seventies had the best bands.
This song would be a hit but 80's music kind of sucked vs 60's and 70's
@@wadeless5406 then why are you here? 60s, 70s, and 80s all had the best! you can't really compare them they were all so drastically different!
@@rush835 Because this song is awesome...doesn't mean everything was awesome. There was a lot of shit in the 80's ( Sarah, We Built This City, Etc.). Inxs dropped a great tune here...one of the best dance rhythms ever but that doesn't mean the whole decade kicked ass.
I agree.
Those sax riffs!
We need more music like this TODAY!
Titanic work, this video... Respect! INXS forever!
Sorry, nowadays there's too much crud. Gonna have to retreat to some past decade . FEH!
Memphis Dan LeLoLai
BadAsssssss... That horn is sick! The guitar?.....vicious. ...and then there's that bass......THAT BASS! Oh, and the late Mr. Hutchence....maaaarrrvelous!
I love this band
Donna Newcomer I wished that Michael was inside me .I love that boy.ooh I can get off just listening to his DAMN music. ooh. ..
Don't forget that drum break down from 1:49 and then the guitar riff comes in, that would get the crowd jumping anytime.
These guys ARE the reason I want to go to Australia!!!!!
Impresionante sonido!!! Aun no ha salido una pieza que la supere!!!
We need more music like this TODAY!
Yes
yeah bro
It's impossible Sean...sorry!
Sad but, no more
For sure
Who else was watching and listening to this on MTV in 1986!
The baseline is sick in this track.
RIP Mr Hutchence and respect to INXS
Me, it seems like yesterday even when you listen to it again. So many memories of good times with friends, the 80s were incredible.
Was definitely rocking to this back then. And yes, the bassline is totally sick and my favorite part of the whole track. Every time I hear it I wish they would have given the bass player a solo because it's so good.
I was born im 86
Music of my childhood!
Alot of ' firsts ' that summer....this was the soundtrack...humid Iowa summer....
i was there when mtv was born but i was also here when it died and went all drama crap too. i want my MTV, lol.
I think this video is from another dimension.
Remember when people had talent?
still has an insane groove.
The 80s seemed like such a beautiful time
1000 times better that today
RIP, Michael Hutchence. You left us too soon.
He came and went too fast.
he was TAKEN before his time. He didn't choose to leave.
Hes not gone he just time traveling with Marty and doc Brown. 😁
dennis michael yes he did loved his voice rip
I miss Michael and INXS, great band but at least the legacy is strong and they're remembered well right? no slow slide to obscurity? no degradation in their music?? it all holds up still lol
still has an insane groove.
This is sheer 80's perfection...the music and the video combined into one sublime piece of art. It really doesn't get any better than this.
🤘
This song came out when I was 22 years old. I am now 60 and love it just as much now as I did then. ❤
Same here.
This songs sounds like something they went into the studio and just had a blast with it!!!!! It rocks!!!!
That's what they did
Yeah not to mention the saxophone to add to it..bet not too many rock bands doing that.
Everything about this song is magic. The Bass and percussion especially. Those accents on the 2's and 4's are just butter.
Yesss the bass line, horns everything!❤
I'm 52.And I was a young man.THIS ONE OF SONGS THAT SENT US TO THE DANCE-Floor in the nightclubs-
That is soo funny. Me too, i'm a little older, but yeah
Unmistakable and one of a kind, unforgettable INXS.
Probably the perfect song
I know what I need...a time machine.
Its What You Need Its What You Need!!!!!
YESSS!
Take me with you! 😃
Find Marty and doc Brown they will take you in the delorean. If only eh ? Lol
Could aliens have a Time machine?and take us for a trip back to 80s
The baseline is sick in this track.
Kick Ass Bass!!
So simple, but so great!
U mean the sax parts.
and that DEADLY bridge/breakdown riff
In all their tracks honestly
Michael Hutchence - best front man ever!!!
Никому он не принадлежит - он уникальный и сам по себе такой;
When I was 15 this was the coolest shit in the world
We must be the same age! 😊
Killer band, killer song! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Michael Hutchence's voice was fantastic!!! 🌟
THATS WHY THIS BAND WAS #1 WHEN MICHAEL WAS ALIVE
inxs is what you need
What you all need is more inxs
One of my favorite 80's songs. I remember it being on MTV's Top 10 for several weeks in early 1986.
Wish you kids coulda lived back in the 80's....it really was a GREAT decade and INXS was a BIG part of it.
i was there. lived it, loved it, wuld go back in a heartbeat.
Sungodv I AM WITH YOU
Sungodv it was awesome...
I'm an Aussie and INXS were like gods back then.
Sungodv , i am from the 2000s but i wish i lived during the 80s cause it was better than the shit around today
Another sexy song from INXS! Puts you in the MOOD!
This is definitely what I need.....
An MTV Classic
This song made many teenagers flip out on the dance floor at Medusa's in Chicago in '85 & afterward. Still kicks *ss 35 years later! #RIPMichael #longliveINXS
Wow. This song still sounds like it's from today. Fantastic song. This kind of music is long gone.Love it.
Love this song, no matter how old let it come on anywhere in mall, restaurant, club, and watch people, their face will light up. Some bands just get it and make music that will rock generations after being made.. and this is one of those bands and one of those songs that does just that!!!!!!
Spot on.
This is what I need.
As someone born in the early 2000's, this song has played a significant role in my life, one of many songs from the 80's
One of the greatest dance songs ever. I can't help getting up and dancing the living shit out of this whenever it comes on.
Amazing decade of music. The first mega hit by INXS and arguably one of their best albums.
Great track......everything about it.......the vocal.....rhythm guitar.....drums ......bass......sax......these guys could play.
SuperEdge67 Michaels band just phenomenal love them 4 ever 🎤💕❤💋
I'm totally ashamed to say I momentarily forgot how amazing INXS were/are
Our hearts are still heavy today beloved Michael on this dreadful day, the day you went away. We will never forget you, we love you, and will always remember you. Thank you for all your wonderful contributions to music and your gift, truly you were a gift to the world. 💔
Tears 😢 in my eyes.. what a great era of music we had. Missing them badly 😢
Everyone talks about the sax, but this song doesn't move without that bass line.....
Mark Falaney bravo to all of them ⚘
Or Michael's Voice And Energy and Excitement
Maybe but it all worked so perfectly...
Awesome tenor sax solo. I play tenor myself and this song rocks because of it.
Friedrich Hueppe I have 2 agree with that sax
Lots of Aussie bands have that awesome sax
Friedrich Hueppe The Great and Multitalented Kirk Pengilly
Hell yeah. We need more sax in music these days rather than the horribly annoying, soul-less 808 hi hat ticking and auto tuned falsettos that sound like someone’s castrating Elmo and for some god-awful reason has become so popular it now basically permeates all genres lol.
Sure does. Gives me goose bumps every time.
They MADE the 80s-90s, they are part of the soundtrack of my life. Good memories.
Why do the best artist’s have to die so young😥, Fly high Mr Hutchence, you’re a true Aussie legend mate ❤️🇦🇺
Nobody plays this stuff anymore, and it's a shame. Real tight band.
Good GOD I use to listen to this tape on my fancy, expensive cassette sized Sony Walkman©, loved it baby cuz' INXS rocked!
Walkman? Rich kid ;)
this is music WHAT YOU NEED in these fckn times...
one of best INXS video clips.
Quit goofing around Michael...even if INXS never does a hit like kick and most work like it before Kick ...INXS music stands alone when all said and done..Return and do the kick devil inside tour over and over Michael & the others.
INXS puts the FUN in "funky," then, now, always, amen.
I could listen to this song everyday. Love this song❤😊
This isn’t that simple music that’s out these days
INXS was Awesome. ...loved this song when it was released. ..and still lovin it man...GREAT SONG.
First INXS hit listened by 1986
I have loved you INXS since the 6th grade!!! When I turn 50 in 2 years I plan to have a INXS inspired event. #iloveyou ❤️ signed, your fan forever!!!!!!!
🎁Happy🎁 50th⭐ Birthday!🎉🥳🎂🍕🌟
The talent and charisma...amazing even 30+ years later!
This song is so catchy!!! One of my favourites :)
Cutting edge of the 80's right here boys and girls.
The drums's AMAZING.....!
absolutely!
Always amazing
Everything is amazing in America!
That was so ahead of its time. If that song was released with this video now, it would be futuristic! INXS was a great band, at the studio, live, and their music videos were so cool! One of a kind :D
What we all need is Michael Back.
If you grew up in the 80s you took this quality for granted. Now you go back in time and realize how much has been lost. Sad but true.
The ultimate 80$ song & video!!
Spring & Summer of 1986. Lots of memories are coming back when I hear this song.
Yep, Me too. I was 19. 😁
Back when they made real music people !!!
From my favorite INXS album "Listen Like Thieves"
R.I.P. Michael Hutchence 😢
I got an autograph on my new t with ☮️ too and a heartfelt hug!
This is a really underrated video too, it’s so good, so many techniques involved (pre-digital too).
So much in this song. The kick drum provides one of its key rhythmic signatures.
So proud to say this music comes from my country men :-)
Thank you from France
Thank you from Ireland
Thank you Australia from Colombia.
Good music knows no boundaries.
Australian music has ruled my world since the late 70s.
I was born in 89. Wish I was born twenty years earlier just to live through the 80s and listen to great bands like this!
Born in 86
This was our childhood!
💜
Solid music with real instruments. Love the sound of that tenor sax. RIP Mike. You brought a sound to INXS, that is truly timeless!
Who remembers Friday Night Videos in the late 1980's on NBC? INXS, Escape Club, & Fine Young Cannibals..... just a snippet of our youth in a bottle. Bring back the music we remember.
When I die I want these babies to send me into eternity!!!!
If you're having a crap ass day, just put this on. Will ALWAYS put you in good mood. Never fails...fucking awesome..
Epic Bass Line
It's a great riff, but it wasn't played with a bass. It was played on a Fairlight keyboard!
Who else was watching and listening to this on MTV in 1986!
Me I lived the 80s and 90s to the fullest..God how I missed this era
Me! I couldn't get enough of MTV and videos!
Ruben Delgadillo and lovin every minute of it
Elaine Lopez neither could i
Oh I was :)
INXS fan 🤘 Listen Like Thieves is a fantastic album.
This video was way ahead of its time in 1985. WAY ahead. Complex photos, graphics, stop-motion, photo/graphics processing, video editing... it would be a challenge in 2021, never mind 36 years ago. One of their best songs, captured at their absolute peak as a band. What a legacy INXS.
This song makes me wanna *DANCE*
The sax is sick in so many of their songs, always jam when I listen to their stuff.
Get it!!!! 🙃👍
@@tomservo4president61 💯
& I Can't dance
@@ericwalters5382 Everyone can dance 😉 It just doesn´t look equally elegant for everyone when they dance 😛
They were amazing!
***** Absolutely Dominique~He was attractive and had sex appeal, but didn't have an easy time just because of it. I believe he actually suffered a lot of emotional turmoil, which a lot of great artists do!
+Rose Petal he and his wife at the time also had a heroin problem. she died not long after he did actually from an overdose.
drby0788 I am not sure if Michael became addicted to heroin under the influence of Paula, or if he was already 'dabbling'. I realize he was a man who experimented in many things. I also believe due to his head injury, and subsequent loss of sense; this caused him to over indulge even more as he SO needed to feel something.
The people NEED this song!!!
Their songs span the decades.
Those sax riffs!
Yeah, it's an INXS kind of day...
Simply the best came out of INXS. Followed them from day one 😊
best aussie band ever !! let's all raise a 4 XXXX for Michael Hutchence
...umm,behind AC/DC maybe
Midnight oil included them in some of their gigs but one of their workers gave them the name INXS.
@@utulangi6078 Really? What was the band name before they were called INXS?
@@headbangingmama8907 "The Farris Brothers". And they had a song called "we are the vegetables" and some thought that was their name. Anyway, i got this information from an interview by the Proffesor of rock of Andrew Farris. It is available on youtube. I think it's in 3 parts. But it was good listening; especially if you're a fan. Enjoy.
CORRECTION. AC/DC. INXS is second
This is the song that introduced me to INXS and a great one it was. I had to have been 9 or just turned 10. Still one of my favorites.
BlaqueViolet true same here I bought it as a single cassette/7 inch-45rpm from tower records lol the very 1st song that got me into INXS rip Michael 🎤
BlaqueViolet girl I dated turned me on to this....guess I was about 28 or 29 ... excellent drums especially for a drummer 👍🏼👍🏼
my dad when i was 7 or 5 when we took long rides to our countryside he'll play inxs in his car from a cd and i would bop to it
