Alastair you never ever fail to impress!! Once again that walk was beautiful, I especially enjoyed the shot of that sheep sitting on the crag and surveying all its lovely pasture 😂👍
Glad you enjoyed it Phil, I went with the intention of doing some photography as well. But time was limited and it just didn't really happen. Those sheep are funny aren't they... they've got a cheeky look to them 🤔 Thanks for watching and for your kind comments. Cheers Alistair 👍

Thanks for watching and commenting. The Autumn colours were almost over, we'd had a lot of stormy weather so many of the leaves were on the ground!☹️ Happy Trails, cheers Alistair 👍
Great noise of Autumnal leaves underfoot! National dress indeed! 🌧️😂 beautiful shots of Helm Crag, one of my personal favourites! Easy to do, loosing that hill fitness, ive done it in just a couple of weeks, will have to push to do some ascents this weekend! Dollywagonpike, one of these days im going to have to climb that one just so i can say the name a lot! Beautiful Herdwicks, almost entirely indigenous to the Lakes, you rarely to never see them any place else! A worldclass sheep! Lovely walk past Wordsworths place, we use that route to ascend Helm Crag! Awesome video Alistair ♥️ 🥾
I felt like an old man on that steep bit 😲😂 I might do Helm Crag again... by a different route 🤔 The leaves were a bit soggy in the main....a lot dryer today tho'👍 Although I haven't been filming, today was a photography walk. I like saying Dollywagon...I always think of GEN X when I say it now 😂😂 I'm restricted by the Winter Bus Timetable now, so there may be some repetition...or less frequent videos. Thanks so much for watching and commenting it's very much appreciated. Cheers Alistair 👍

Hi, there are so many walks from Grasmere and the Winter Bus Timetable let's me get there....and back! The national dress joke I stole from a crew member on a ferry in Norway a long time ago 😂 Dollywagon Pike 🤣🤣 every time I say it I think of you guys, I'll have to get it climbed ASAP..if the buses allow 🤔 I couldn't resist filming the Herdwicks sat on that ledge... typical of them!.. I went up via Easedale Tarn about 5 years ago and spent a full day hiking over the ridge and remember coming down the Allen Bank way thinking, pleased I am not coming up this way as it was so steep. So easy to lose that fell fitness and I have not been over the Lakes in almost a month due to miserable weather and now loaded with a bloody cold. Looked a bit of a boggy old walk but good to see you missed most of the showers, cheers Alan
Hi Alan, hope you're feeling better soon. As you say it's been a bit wet and miserable for a while now.... today's been a lovely day mind 😀. We've been out on Cartmel Fell... beautiful!
