They outdid themselves, I didn't think the Ravenscroft could be beat but in my opinion this is it. I think between this and Noir, you would have all you need for any piano sound in your songs, imo.
We pretty much have the same keyboard set up haha. Except I use the A88 along with the Launchkey MK3 61. Does that use the PHA4 Standard action? How are you liking the Modern D? Compared to the likes of Pianoteq? I always thought the playability of VI Labs and Pianoteq was always on par but VI Labs sounded better. Does it compete the Synchron Steinway D? How is the soundstage of the Modern D? Worth putting money down on it?
Nice! Yes the RD-88 EX has the PHA-4. I love my Launchkey. I love it so much to the point where I was considering an 88 version as well. Modern D is worth it and then some. It's close sounding, polar opposite of the soundstage on those VSL concert grands recorded in the Synchron Stage.
@@RabihRihana me too with the 88 version of the Launchkey. It does sound great. I am very tempted by the Modern D as I have been long waiting for a really good Steinway VST.
@@RabihRihana And one thing that really gets me is -- the Synchron Steinway doesn't have una corda samples! I'll always hold it against VSL for that, LOL. Bought one product, and that's it... I'm embracing VI Labs now just because they have a piano sample library with full functions.

I agree 💯! Everyone seems to forget about NOIRE. It still holds its own against the best in my opinion.
