As an actor jagathy is 11/10 but as a human being with humility .... I saw his two speeches and feel his humility levels didnt grow with his great acting skill . As humans we should see these videos and see his current state video and think about humility as a virtue all human beings should have . I am a jagathy fan but things have to be told .

@tomshaji True but that's showing his bias. Even if it's a personal opinion, it has the potential to influence especially when said by a celebrity in such public space. I don't think Ranjini ever said one contestant was better than another. She would simply add some filler when inviting the judges to give their comments. It was quite obvious that her comments were not official judgements. In a way, her comments would have less influence than what Jagathy said here. As an anchor it's is your job to transition to the judges in an entertaining way. Otherwise there's no point in having an anchor. All you need are the contestants and judges.

What was Jagathy trying to say? His diatribe was self contradictory, spiteful and lame. He was playing to the back benchers with a pathetic attempt at mocking Ranjini in English when he has no command over the language. The jibe at Jayaram was uncalled for as well. He simply bored the audience and hogged prime time with nonsense. Maybe next time, the experienced actor will take his own advise and do only his job instead of opening the floodgates of hate speech disguised as well meaning advice. I had so much respect for him and enjoyed all his performances as he is indeed a great actor. I am afraid that this outburst will ring in my ears every time I see him in a role in future. It was unnecessary and totally uncalled for.
In today's age and time any monkey can have good command over English. Jagathy is one of the finest comic actors in the country and he has a valid point. It was wrong for Ranjini to ask Jagathy to judge a child's singing when Jagathy is a non singer. As Jagathy rightly pointed out it is not the job of the anchor to decide on a child's singing. Renjini may be butt hurt by Jagathy's retort as she is a grown up adult. But that is not the case with little children who are at a vulnerable age and a non qualified Tom, Dick and Harry's negative judgement may harm their self esteem in the long run. The celebrated directed Shekar Kapur has refused to judge children's singing citing the same reason that Jagathy has said.
Compare this shameless display of crude arrogance of Jagathi with the dignified way Jayaram and Ranjini handled the situation! A terrible letdown of his fans by Jagathi.

What Jagathy did was wrong, as a professional if he felt there was sometin wrong in the way Ranjini presented U hav the option to take it up with the producers. You can tell it to Ranjini in private... I recall a time when Jagathy was accused of rape (he was acquitted for it), BUT would he have liked it if someone came talked about it during live telecast?! It is not easy to anchor a show. If she is still in the business jst says she is doing a gr8 job & majority seems 2 like her in the show

apart from her english mix malayalam i have never seen her saying anything too much to the participants....shes not such a bad host as this man here claims. anyway maybe hes right but seriously if he wanted to say something to her he should have had the curtsey to say it personally or off stage. hes such a big star he should have kept a lil decency. i applaud the girl for keeping her cool and being contained it sort of show her professionalism.

I have said it before & I will say it again. Anchors like Ranjini Haridas are doing what they are paid to do, TO be anchors & to host their shows as their producers & directors tell them to. One has got to wonder if she was such a negative impact, the producers would not keep raising her pay package & ask her to host it year after year. Sameena Muhammed Jagathy sir was not only referring to the on spot situation but also on how Ranjini spoke judging one of the contestants of Idea Star Singer one Mr. Somasundar. She started judging him on how poor his performance was and how just SMS votes were the only influence due to which he was getting into next stages of the competition. She is an anchor. And must only do the job which she is assigned to. What else are the judges for then. No one should cross the line of command or power.
Whatever he said, i agree. But he could have gone little more subtle.I am not saying Renjini deserves it. Of course she is a good anchor, if she is able to understand her flaws and lose them. She should consider what he said, as he has more experience with the audience than her. All she gotta do is integrate the idea and her style.

@tomshaji True but that's showing his bias. Even if it's a personal opinion, it has the potential to influence especially when said by a celebrity in such public space. I don't think Ranjini ever said one contestant was better than another. She would simply add some filler when inviting the judges to give their comments. It was quite obvious that her comments were not official judgements. In a way, her comments would have less influence than what Jagathy said here. As an anchor it's is your job to transition to the judges in an entertaining way. Otherwise there's no point in having an anchor. All you need are the contestants and judges.

What was Jagathy trying to say? His diatribe was self contradictory, spiteful and lame. He was playing to the back benchers with a pathetic attempt at mocking Ranjini in English when he has no command over the language. The jibe at Jayaram was uncalled for as well. He simply bored the audience and hogged prime time with nonsense. Maybe next time, the experienced actor will take his own advise and do only his job instead of opening the floodgates of hate speech disguised as well meaning advice. I had so much respect for him and enjoyed all his performances as he is indeed a great actor. I am afraid that this outburst will ring in my ears every time I see him in a role in future. It was unnecessary and totally uncalled for.
In today's age and time any monkey can have good command over English. Jagathy is one of the finest comic actors in the country and he has a valid point. It was wrong for Ranjini to ask Jagathy to judge a child's singing when Jagathy is a non singer. As Jagathy rightly pointed out it is not the job of the anchor to decide on a child's singing. Renjini may be butt hurt by Jagathy's retort as she is a grown up adult. But that is not the case with little children who are at a vulnerable age and a non qualified Tom, Dick and Harry's negative judgement may harm their self esteem in the long run. The celebrated directed Shekar Kapur has refused to judge children's singing citing the same reason that Jagathy has said.

Sameena Muhammed Jagathy sir was not only referring to the on spot situation but also on how Ranjini spoke judging one of the contestants of Idea Star Singer one Mr. Somasundar. She started judging him on how poor his performance was and how just SMS votes were the only influence due to which he was getting into next stages of the competition. She is an anchor. And must only do the job which she is assigned to. What else are the judges for then. No one should cross the line of command or power.
