I can see a lot of comments here venting out their frustrations over the unstable schedule of this series. Guys, they're filming this whole thing in their homes (remember quarantine?) and the actors are working remotely (remember quarantine?). And the crew doesn't wanna give us some sloppy mess of a show so they're working their asses out to give us quality content. I suggest you take some time reading some articles about this series, I promise you, it will give you peace of mind and a fuel for your patience. It's worth the shot. 👍👍👍

I came here once again (for the nth time lol) because i saw one comment on one video that says Cai actually lost on purpose in this game. He did it because lowkey, he is starting to like the attention Gav is giving him. It’s a fan threory but hey, it’s really logical if you think about it. Usually, Cai gets very upset whenever he can’t win in his games but here, you can see he was dancing and swaying his hips like he’s happy he lost the game. Hahaha oh my, the details. ❤️

The way they played with our feelings. Now I kinda understand Cai more. He never had anyone aside from his Dad (coz I feel like he doesnt have the best relationship with his siblings and Mom). Now, he found this guy, Gav, who's willing to be beside him regardless of the circumstance. It's not hard to fall for a person who puts effort into the little things. The way they opened up to each other while they were having their date was cute but has a lot of substance. I hope we can see Gav's development in the next few episodes. The way they inserted the OST plus the montage of them literally just falling for each other was done beautifully. Kudos to the team. I am amazed with how superb the quality of the series is considering the current situation. This shows that a series can still be good without having too much of anything just pure and raw talent backed with an amazing script and a solid direction. Can't wait for the next episode.

Watching previous episodes proved how Gav have been Cairo’s guy in his most vulnerable times. I also admire Elijah for being a great actor. He was able to portray well a gay boy that is confused about his feelings, his conflict with the family and his hesitation to trust someone.

Elijah's many facial expressions where he changes in a few seconds - surprise, awe, emotional, angsty show his mastery of acting. And an eye actor is hard to find these days. Kokoy is also a natural, you can tell his enormous experience in acting. It's not a matter of playing supporting/bit parts, it's how you own the character. I'm watching for the 5th time. LOL
Someone said it finally. It bothers me that there are people who thinks Elijah's acting here is subpar. Like for real? Can't they see those subtle movements of his face that shows total change of emotions in one click? Sometimes he doesn't even need to move a muscle, his eyes could act by themselves. Makes me think some viewers dont really understand the complexity of playing Cairo.
@@CalleighDelaCruz At this point in time, my advise is never bother yourself with comments that seem to belittle acting techniques, because basically they don't dwell much on the intricacies, but rather are satisfied with what is obvious. Subtle acting is the hardest to do because it takes confidence to do it. An actor who lacks confidence always does over-the-top acting because he wants to rise above the noise, but in effect, he gets drowned by it.

Calleigh Dela Cruz agree! I love Elijah’s expressions. Though part of it is in the filming process. More emotions could be captured if the director and camera men were on set.

Within a couple of days, I discovered Gameboys - and Hello, Stranger - and the Philippines. All 100% new to me. Imaginative. Clever. Original. Real and contemporary. Utterly rooted in young people's reality - right now. Super well-written dialogue. I know so little about the Philippines - the other side of the world: every glimpse I get here is fascinating. Ditto listening to Tagalog conversation. And two completely charming young actors.
Bc of Covid I’ve been branching to other countries BL bc I was used to watching BL’s from Thailand, Japan, China, and Korea. The language change felt a bit weird but I got used to it after the first or second episode. I’ve been into BL’s from Vietnam and the Philippines 🥰🥰🥰
I also recommend #GayaSaPelikula (Just Like in the Movies) which is also Filipino. The chemistry between the leads is amazing, and the script is very good! P.S. I'm Filipino myself but I also just recently discovered these series, like this weekend LOL.

The direction, acting, editing, and soud effects are so lit in spite of this pandemic we are currently experiencing. I have never doubted with all people behind this art, it seems talagang pinaghandaan before nila ilabas ito. Can't keep myself from smiling the whole episode, nakakakilig na balanced, mapa drama moments to sitcom parts. Kudos to the whole prod team! Kudos!

Man I am so touched by this series. I didn't realize how much I desperately wanted media that reflects the current situation. While escapism is fun, seeing every other show be set in ostensibly the present day but in a completely unrecognizable setting (despite that being our normal of several months ago!) makes me feel sad. Watching those shows feels like looking into an alternate universe where this pandemic hadn't happened, and there's only so much of that you can take before it just gets depressing. The fact that this series is a cute romance set in everyone's new normal is awesome!
Cairo and Gavreel's conversation where things got real was my favorite part so far. Let me tell you, LGBT+ teenagers are far more likely to have been in long distance relationships in our young adult lives, whether because we're not out or there is no one else out at our schools, or what have you. Pretty much every gay or bi person my age that I've met (I'm 23) had an internet boyfriend or girlfriend in their teenage years, and a lot of them still do. So, in a way, the gays have been training for building up the digital intimacy that comes with video communication/written communication as our only forms of contact for DECADES lol. And now it's something everyone has to deal with... all the loneliness and sadness and isolation and how just having someone to talk to that cares about you can make all the difference. So this series is like the best combination of those two aspects to me.
I am more excited about this show than I have been about a show for a long time! Great job to the actors and the production team!!!!

Honestly... I'm blown away by the production quality. Especially considering this all had to be filmed alone, it's fantastic, but even if that wasn't the case it's still some of the best quality I've seen. The sound and film are excellent, but man, all the editing flows so nicely and is so well-put together as well. I love the music and the way it adds to the emotions the characters are experiencing.
The acting is fantastic as well. Both actors are very charismatic and doing a very good job of expressing their emotions with simple facial expression. I'd also like to complement the script; it's very creative in a lot of parts, but also just well-written and realistic.
Also, the translations are top-notch. It can be hard to get the same point across in a different language, but I think the translator(s) have managed well. I can understand every bit.
I won't mind waiting a little bit longer if that means we can have such a high quality show.
Rewatching this for the Nth time and still can't believe that people dropped by just watching the first episode. They missed a lot, but we sure don't miss them.

OMFG this series is EVERYTHING. it really shows you that edge of nowadays' romance. especially during this pandemic. the storyline is very interesting and the connection between the two casts is out of this world. this series managed to be so relevant and so cute at the same time. i say, make the 40 minutes version hehehe... Gav stated in a later episode (3) that even when he isnt into games he studied (dedicated) how cairo plays and used it against him... and since dark souls was mentioned and about female characters with debuffs etc... i'm guessing the game something akin to having one character that you play unilaterally (diablo 3) so if you dedicate to beating a certain player it's possible to get equipments skills characters etc that counters him even if he is better (unless he is pro)

Just want to share this to you guys, I have a friends pala from Indonesia, Thai and Brazil and they also watch this series, based sa review nila nakaka kilig daw, they also commend how the quality of the video was made super ganda daw plus the scenes and plot is very unique, very timely and relatable.
I think this series is a good start para ma's makilala pa yung BL dito sa pinas.
