Do they give instructions on how to "put the data into action"? It's great to know if your fat or carb burning but without instructions on how to impact the number I would think the data would be kind of useless.

So if the device shows you are burning a certain time of day does this mean that is the best time to exercise? Does it show the best time to eat?
Thanks for sharing your experience on using Lumen. I'd like to try it out, but am wondering if the device would still work after cancelling my membership?
I want to use the device to measure my breath but don't need a nutrition plan or expert guidance long term.

You pay a lot of money for this device and then you pay more money by paying the monthly subscription or annual. So it's a big NO!

For me the investment has been a Godsend. To each their own, but it's an useful tool if you're doing everything else right.
Unfortunately this will cost me $260.06 CAD not $199.00. I wish we could buy these devices in CAD's. Is there another device that is Canadian that does the same thing?
How do you know your exhaling into the Lumen was not suitable? Is there an error code that comes up?

That's a great question! The information Lumen provides is unique to you, so if you wanted to use it with more than one person/profile, you would just need to have separate app accounts to each use the device. I believe Lumen also has a Lumen DUO plan that can be used by 2 people :) I hope this helps!
what devices tell your BMR ??
There’s no device that I know of but you can get it measured at a Dexafit location for around $100, sometimes they’ll run a Groupon bringing the price down. When you leave you’ll have your RMR and total daily calories burned.
Buyer we aware, there is only a return policy if the box has NOT BEEN OPENED!!!! you cannot try it for any amount of time and return. HORRIBLE POLICY!
Agreed. Deceptive policy. 30: day return period but only if box unopened. Useless.
A good reason not to try it - you can't do it!
