Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront | Room Tour 605 King with Ocean View

I was looking for a Staycation here in Florida on the beach. I typically got to Cocoa Beach or New Smyrna if I go to the East Coast (Atlantic Ocean), but decided to look else ware based on price and availability.
I was pleasantly surprised with the Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront. It was only about an extra 20 minutes drive from Orlando (rather than Cocoa). The beach was not packed like I was used to and there was no resort fee. The lobby and beach bars were both great (typical hotel prices). The pool was big enough and the beach was right there.
The room itself had an amazing view of Florida's Atlantic Ocean. It was amazing waking up to the sunrise each morning. There was a balcony, but really only for standing - no chairs.
Overall, this may be a new hotel that I use going forward from Orlando to have a quick beach visit.
