I was born with a rare form of muscular dystrophy and was paralyzed at birth. Doctors told my parents I would never walk. I believe as my parents said I was around one years old when my mother told my father she saw what she described as angels around my crib one night. As the story goes, the next day I went from being almost paralyzed to being in a standing position in the crib. The doctors could not explain it, especially since going so long with not much physical movement further atrophies muscle. I also remember as a very young child, being visited by a man who would float in the corner of my room and tell me about God and how God loved me, my parents assumed I had an imaginary friend. Now, despite my parents being Catholic and Jewish, they were not religious and never spoke to us about God but I knew who he was already. I was about 5 or so the first time I saw Jesus on a cross and I remember knowing who he was without anyone explaining it. I was in my forties when I finally became saved and accepted him and believe me he does show himself in different ways to us to get us to seek him but many times we refuse to see the miracles he grants in our lives and instead we choose to see the suffering.
We need healing because we are physically sick. We are physically sick because we are so stressed, which makes our immune system goes down, our organs not functioning well, it gives us not enough sleep. We are stressed because we worry too much. We worry because we doubt. We doubt because we don't have faith. So it is obvious that whatever is the condition of our spirit will affect our physical body. Ask for Spiritual healing instead.
