I loved my 2007 H3 Adventure. I drove it to Montana and it just couldn't take the mountains and the trans puked at 77,000 miles. It was never right again after that so I traded it in.
I just took my 07 to west virginia and the mountain roads were a struggle. I sent my ecu to pcm of NC and had them tune it and change the shift points and its a night and day difference. I would recommend that to anybody who owns one of these.
holy crap, I'm having a heck of a time getting the pan off. seems jammed between the shift cable bracket and the exhaust bracket. maybe on an alpha it's 1000x harder
Wow hate to hear that. My shift braket comes right off with 2 x 13mm bolts on top side threaded straight down, hope that helps ,not sure of exhaust bracket because mine doesn't have one anywhere near the pan ,can't say I've done any V8 chevy or even my Duramax Allison trans that that was a problem, thanks for watching Vassmotorsports and hope ya check out some of my other videos, trying to get my little channel growing ,always something different
I gotta ask you if you still you tube man, what machine is that you are using to drain the truck and pump new fluids back into the truck? Whats the brand and name of the product?
Yes its a wynns trans flush machine ,and just follow video instructions on filling machine with proper fluid for the vehicle and add Sea Foam trans tune and drive 10 miles or more before the flush , also BG and some other make good products to do the same
Any problems with slipping since the flush? I just bought a 06 Hummer H3 with 238,000... fluid looks pretty good.... should I do what you did.? ..mine is working properly
Ive driven 5 or 6k since and have no issues at all, most of that is 600 mile one way trips to Florida, luckily the transmission is in good condition so its beneficial, if it already has problems or lots of wear and debris in the fluid or pan then its to late and probably won't improve much
