Your bikes will hold up over the years and miles with the way you build them. "Overbuilt" is how I would describe it. This bike is already one of the best looking choppers I've seen.
Really enjoy your approach to life ,it shows in everything you do ,the love gives your rides a soul ,which will live on long after we are gone ,it's a cold wet morning here in England ,thanks for brightening my day .
Dude those mids are rad! I really dig the plain steel ones without the paint. I'm working on a build right now and doing a brushed aluminum look on the parts. NO CHROME haha. Can't wait to see what other parts you start rolling out!
The progress is coming along great and switching out the rear fender was a great idea not only is it not interfering with the chain but it looks better also. Keep the rubber side down brother and enjoy Japan 🤙😎
Wow nice work. I love your garage set up, it is pretty tight and clean. I notice that when you made all the adjustments for the fender and seat that your rear axel was pretty far back in the slotted frame hole. Normally it is a good practice to first make sure that the axel is more towards the front. This way it leaves more room to adjust the wheel later as the chain will probably stretch a little bit later on. Anyway great work. René from Québec.
Maybe you placed the wheel/ axle too far back when you set the positions for the fender and sissy bar. Maybe remove a link and move the wheel, fender etc forward. But you’re getting there, well done 👍
That springer is just the right length. I like those mids. Their design is well thought out and they are eye-catching. Stay safe.

I really love the old school bikes you build.
Good call on that fender. I like the fenders with the spine vs smooth.
Progress, chopper is coming along, looks great, have a blessed week my friend
Oh yeah! Looking so good. Love the high mid controls setup. Nice choice on rear fender too 👌

Good call on the headlight placement and the narrower fender. Looks good. Safe travels, Son!

The mids are actually 7075 aluminum

Yes I too thought that 🇬🇧
Yep, good catch. I moved the wheel forward after making this video and there’s still a good amount of adjustment left.
What brand lathe is that? It looks pretty solid but still compact.
Logan

What type of welder are you using? That’s a sick looking bike.
And why not a “King and Queen” saddle?
Not a fan of it
Wouldn't it be easier to have an old chain hanging about so you don't have to take the one on the bike off?
Yea it would be but I didn’t have one
Jus saying springer headlights are supposed to be up were you can see yourself in the chrome whilst riding i am oldschool brother jus me!
