Nice build 👍... love an EVO... bullet proof shovelhead 😎...mill the heads , carb , cam,& exhaust and you can run circles around a 110 CVO. I have a157,000 miles on my 99 night train and my plugs are still burning light paper bag brown 👍😱😎🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
Bruisin' bike! Nothing crazy-long in regards to the forks. You ran a front binder (smart). The fit and finish is top shelf! This is a great platform for your product line. Keep up the great work!
Will definitely be checking the website for that pull starter switch thing. Hopefully bout to start working on a 85 fxwg. Great videos and great builds!
When you first built the bike, didn’t you have vertical side by side 65 Hella Reverse lights on it. I ask because I just mocked up 68 Hellas and wonder if I am going to wind up changing them out for something brighter.
Is that stock coil your using 12V? If so, how’d you make it compatible with the newer model sportster? I’ll the ones I’ve seen work with later models (78’ and later).
Can y'all shoot a schematic for the wiring diagram y'all did for this bike I've got a 98 Evo chopper I'm building could use some insight on the basic wiring thanks much
we used to use a far different rear tire.......we called them glide tire ...they built them with a step in the sidewall........you cannot feel railroad tracks....with a hardtail....with a glide tire. its what made it work... .modern builders...dont onow this...so they build with rubber band sidewall tires...and they wind up with NO shock absorption from the rear tire....... you can always tell a builder who doesnt know his shit bylooking at his rear tire choice... and peaple get fooled.....by this too.
Choppers are nice to look at but are for the most part unrideable and you will lose you a$$ on them when you (try) sell. Those choppers that were built by Orange County Choppers on the TV show sold for a shit ton of money when those guys got done with them but after a year or 2 they were almost worthless. The only guys that want them are the guys that bought them. What is the point....
I don't care what anyone says an aside from a Shovel, the Evo is the best sounding Harley motor ever.....
Glad to see evos gettin some love
