Its like Sony at this point is trying to kill itself. Seriously, what the HELL was the idea behind Concords visuals? I'm an artist, a hobbyist, and I'm not perfect. But Concords designs, oh my fucking god, how did this happen? I don't like seeing artists fail and fuck up, but this is legitimately painful. 1. The color palette. Its REALLY pastel colored, lots of rather uninteresting colors that just makes your eyes slide off them. Put the characters in a greyscale filter and you'll see just how bad the color choices are. 2. The actual fashion of the characters combined with the graphics doesn't make them look like "heroes", they look like regular ass people wearing plastic looking costumes. The choice to stick to human design as much as possible even for the aliens make the designs somehow feel uncanny yet extremely cheap and uninspired at the same time (I'm a fan of Reptilians. Lennox is NOT a reptilian, that is a Star Trek actor). 3. The designs also seriously lack in communication because almost nobodys appearance suggest anything of their role on the field. It-Z (pink haired alien catgirl that my friend calls the Skooma Elf) doesn't look anything like a tech based character (she can teleport, use tech decoys, basically a Sombra without invsibility), Duchess, an old lady dressed like some noble, builds WALLS despite no sign of anything indicating such a skill, Daw (fat dude) and Jabali (Michael Jackson pre-allegations) absolutely do NOT look like medics at all, shit, Daw doesn't even look like he should BE there in a fighting zone like this, he looks like he'd get out of breathe in no time. He looks more like a Cryomancer than a medic. I know a lot of people like to say that games should be gameplay first, but visuals play a big part of actually hooking you in. Games need a hook and visuals do that, thats why cinematic trailers for game still get giant hype and followings even when you didn't see a second of gameplay. A strong visual identity hooks you in, the gameplay is the banquet that keeps you staying. Concord was fine on gameplay (if a bit slow paced and its Crew system was rather confusing) but its hook was absolutely not sticking it. The State of Play reveal was, not well recieved at all, and then the cast got revealed, and I was left staring in shock at the cast of characters that lacked rizz on nearly every level. Daw legit had me gobsmacked, and Bazz (thugnificent haircut) was just a source of laughs for me and my friends and brother. Like, what the HELL, Sony? What the HELL, Firewalk? You had ex Bungie devs working 8 years for THIS? Piss filter Yondu? The new Blade with Thugnificents haircut? A reddit moderator? A divorce lawyer robot? A giant trash can? A knockoff Space Marine? A Tumblr fursona? A granny? Low testosterone genderbent Doomguy? Drax the Blueback Gorilla? Generic NPC alien from the Unreal store? A guy in airsoft armor? I'm not gonna dignify the rest here. This, is a fucking joke. This is a bad joke, and Firewalk Studio should be ashamed of themselves, and Sony should too. The people in that studio who actively burnt bridges with the customers oughta give an apology to everyone, insulting your potential customers is never what you should do. The least they could do was own up to their error and say "Yeah we fucked up".
They spent 8 years on this and the insane thing about this: no one is going to want to shell out $40 for a mediocre experience they can get for free from OW, Apex, or Fortnite. The PSN requirement is already a pain, and no one is going to want to touch this game knowing it not only sucks but the fact they have to make an account for it after paying for it. This game fails in every single other category and the game may have been worth a try, but, it has upset people politically, visually, and it's already a pain to play, it deserves it's failure for this, thus, the title.

This video had a 2%-3% CTR right up until now because youtube couldn't find an audience, now it's getting views, people are finding out about this game through the videos complaining about it and not through the money they dumped into influencers to promote it
~700 all time peak players, especially for a multiplayer game is horrible, thats less than half life 1's players currently (about 925 players as of writing)
I never heard of this game until today seeing it on Reddit. Wtf, I’m on my PlayStation everyday and they show all kinds of ads but I NEVER saw a single ad for this. It is ugly and seems super overplayed as a game mechanic anyway so no loss I guess.
This had a larger budget than Red Dead Redemption 2, some people doubt it HOWEVER the credits are over an hour long, meaning they had outsourced this to multiple studios and kept passing the work around over and over until it turned into this.
This game made me convinced that 2024 is literally a phenomena, shit game after shit game (except for wukong from what I know) other popular indie titles like helldivers fall apart, and the entire woke community always feels that they're in a new world order "You're fat-phobic for causing this game to be flopped!" Or "Please dont make fun of this rotten game!" Is basically every gaming news sites try to revive this already decaying game (And btw vanoss could've been done better if he didn't make a concord sponsor) Its shit like concorde that made me start to loose faith not just for indie studios but also AAA (which I already did) and I had no doubt that we wouldn't even get a good release for once Also out of all the bad games that have done better then Concord you could've made as a example why Sex with hitler 😭 🙏 Its kinda far-fetched...
