    With whole YT flooded with Shadow 2 videos, we need more TS2 ones. Great job!

    Nice comparison. I've got the TS2 Green plus an old TSO, an S2 OR and S2 Orange. They're all great. I'm not sure that the bull barrel upgrade of the TS2 Orange is worth the price of admission, especially since I've come to the realization that, for me, the Shadows are about the best combo of weight/performance/ergonomics and cost. The Shadow 2 Orange has an amazing fit - better than my TS2 Green and equal to my TSO and the SA on mine comes close to rivaling the TSO and TS2. Interestingly, while the slide to frame fit on my S2 OR isn't nearly as tight as the other guns, the darn trigger was amazing out of the box. Better DA than the Orange and the SA has just bit more pretravel that I bet I could make go away with another disconnector. I definitely hit the trigger jackpot with my S2 OR. When I shoot them all side by side, indoors, at paper at 50ft (the limit of my indoor range), I shoot them all almost the same. They're obviously all better than I am!😅 When I shoot steel or shoot one of our local IDPA/USPSA inspired indoor winter matches, I prefer the S2s for their agility. When I shoot bullseye league indoors I use the TSO or TS2 (or a 2011😉).

    TS2 Orange is also hand fitted like the original TSO. The TS2 Blue, Green, other colors are not hand fitted with exception of the Orange and Bronze.

    Green is discontinued for 2023 - now there is a blue grip and a yellow grip that seems a bit more upscale because of the gas pedal. Hard to get to know these TS 2 guns since they change so often and I have never seen one in a gun store - I would have to order one unseen.

    The fitting can NOT be tight because the barrel expands when it gets hot. Simple.

    Should we assume the amount of slide-to-frame play depends mostly on the amount of usage? The TS2 was tight because it was a brand new gun.

    I wish they would release the TS2 deep bronze in the US. I would like to compare that to the TS2 orange. The deep bronze is hand fitted as well, I'm curious how they would compare. I preder the look of the deep bronze. I have a TSO and racing green TS2. My TSO is so tight compared to my TS2 green, but it doesnt shoot any better. The trigger on my green is better than my TSO. The TSO has more creep whereas my green almost as a wall with very little creep.

    • @9mmtactical
      @9mmtactical  5 місяців тому

      Yeah TS2 Orange has a bigger creep than Green which is so odd.

      I ordered the Green TSO style. It fits the gun's holes perfectly. The only thing to be aware is that the screws that comes with the gun for the original thumb rest is too short, because the AC one is thicker than the factory one. You might wanna order a pair of screws from AC too -

      They are kind of different animals. But I like TS2O better than S2.

    • @stenmoeller
      @stenmoeller Рік тому

      It's different. I've never tried the Shadow 2 SA only, but a friend of mine has the ordinary Shadow 2 with a tuned trigger. It's all subjective, but I find the trigger in my TS2O way better. More distinct. I also like the balance better, but that is also a matter of taste. If you don't need the DA trigger, definitely go for the TS2. Even a standard TS2 that I tried in my opinion had a better trigger than the Shadow 2. So for me, yes, the TS2 is better and I would choose it again.
