A note that I would add, when laying the bead of RTV/sealant, go around on the inside of the bolt holes on the housing. Also, you can use a couple of bolts through the cover to help line the cover b4 sticking it on.
Thanks Jeff for the intro. As a new Jeep owner, I really want to learn all about my Jeep’s components. I don’t necessarily want to do the repairs myself. But when the time comes to take it to get service, I’ll have a better idea what’s going on and will hopefully not be taken advantage of.
