LLI coming into All-Star Season with new instruments and a new attitude. But what I'm tripping on, is when did LLI Drumline switch to Memphis-Style(Groove-Style) drumming?
Shoutout to the kids, but I’m still not used to bands nowadays (outside of a few). I’m an 05 Aug alum, so….. it was just different back then. I can’t do the country-style marching that a lot of schools are picking up.
They sound great! Real clean and full 💯🔥 But that marching and drive is horrible… left, right, left right, left right! And as far as the drum line goes, They’re all over the place, no discipline or uniformity or order! They think that ish cute and fun but really it’s a bad look… and most important, PLEASE go back to SU style. We don’t need every single all-star band in America on that JSU/Miss/Memphis style! Directors please fix the minor adjustments!

I like the fact this is high schoolers and below. That ESPN reminds me of band when it was on VHS tapes and audio recorders.
