- We spent the end of last November, a very busy month of travelling all across India enjoying the hustle and bustle on Mumbai's streets, savouring the city's famous street food and also exploring Indian culture and history at some of the biggest sights, galleries and museums in all of India. So much to see and do in Mumbai, but so little time, especially while travelling with a small toddler like Annika, who can be a handful sometimes. But I think we had quite a good Mumbai tour! My name is Johanna North. I’m a Finnish woman travelling in India since 2016. In 2019 I married my Indian husband and we moved to the state of Kerala in southern India, where we are still living. In 2021 we welcomed our baby girl into this world. On this channel I share videos on blending our Finnish-Indian family life, culture, food and travel mostly in India, and sometimes in Finland too.

Beautiful Mumbai but days are very hot now and people will be getting tired while travelling so Annika was in a relaxing mood, but choosing items from menu card is so adorable that we love to see, actually every activity of Annika is so sweet that makes us refreshed❤... beautiful Taj hotel inside and getting view of outside from hotel window was amazing ❤
At her age, i was worst at crankiness. Its the age. But her smiles will give us those bliss always to us. She is probably too young for museums and Art circuits. I must say she comes first and she has every right for crankiness. its way her saying i wanna play with kids of my age.
I think with all the travelling you do, you’re all (Annika included) doing really well. Can't be easy on either you or her. You manage so much despite having to constantly rearrange your plans. We really appreciate the effort, just wanted you to know that. And Annika in "gussa" mode is absolutely adorable. Her lying on the museum floor is something I wish I could do, sometimes several times a day😂
Gauri yes I also really appreciate Johanna's efforts. In fact i much prefer to watch her vlogs than the overly professional type of vlogs. That's because Johanna's vlogs are real. They display the reality of family life for her and that is far more authentic than the perfectly filmed no human storyline type of vlogs. Oh and by the way, you have the same name as my sister. 😃 But the spelling of her name is Gouri. I was born and raised in the UK with my sisters but I'm of Indian race and I recently lived india for 3 years. I have never come across anyone called Gouri in either India or the UK

I suppose we can understand how the energy of the city can be a bit overwhelming to Annika's early stage in this world, especially the museums & galleries which can be exhausting to even us adults at times. Uncle Blair sends lots of loving support to you all. 💋❤
Mumbai looks wonderful in the night. Especially South Mumbai. I love walking and it’s a great place to discover little hidden gems as u walk. It’s absolutely great that you and Vinod are letting Annika discover the world around her with adequate precautions of course.
I miss Yazdani Cafe so much it has been closed post corona ,only take away are allowed!
That’s sad! Our favourite restaurant in Payyaanur also only just opened in December after having been closed since March -20. Many great restaurants were lost due to covid 🥺

Nehru Center in worli used to have some stage shows and in Bandra I used to go to some musical events or theatre
So much to explore in mumbai! Unfortunately for us these are a little bit too far away from the area we usually need to stay at due to work, and we dont want to get stuck in the evening afterwork traffic for several hours 😄 but hopefully we’ll get to explore more areas in Mumbai in the future 😊
I love the sights and sounds of marvelous Mumbai. At the same time the elegance and beauty of the Taj is a lovely mix. The glorious architecture is a sight to behold. Please do not apologize about the quality of your videos. Your videos are amazing Johanna and extremely enjoyable. You are a true story teller. We considered going there, but unfortunately there was some issue with. I cant remember exactly what, but I think Google maps was showing it was temporarily closed or gave the wrong location or something like that, and we didnt have enough time to figure it out. In the future we’ll definitely visit!
I understand what you guys both are goimg through...well it may not be so easy on Annika too but she is roughing it out quite well. Being cranky at that age is normal....but am sure as she grews up, she would be well adjusted to the travel vlogs or even take over the job and outperfom herself... kudos to thr 3 of you in putting this vlog together. Love these clips for the insights you give from the lens of a Finnish girl. Appreciate the efforts!
You are such an enthusiast.. Your zeal to know about India, it's culture, food, places is so much worth appreciation. Your flair can take you places. Probably you could become ambassador to Indian culture in small ways wherever u live, if not more. If Annika grows, you could dedicate your more time to this. You could host or guide people especially women to India. That will pave path for you too to see rest of India. Regardless. You are doing great ..

Nice video! Annika is happy going out and about. She enjoys everything you eat and drink. She is still a child, so don't worrym you are doing good. SUPER vlog Johanna. Thanku Sooooo MUCH ❤❤❤❤❤ I feel that vlogs should be realistic as they are short reality entertainment, not Bollywood. And I like the raw realistic authenticity of vlogs. Hence this vlog was SUPER. Mumbai is AMAZING but also overwhelming as it's busy with no ventilation. I did love the art gallery.
Also I understand that you love Mumbai and you are there for Vinods work. And it's fab that you can have some time for vacation activities. But those activities are not for Annika as she's only a very little girl. I do think it's fine to take her along for sure and it's important that u experience it. That is very good for your creativity, exploration, happiness, wellness and selfcare. And if you meet those needs in yourself then Annika will be happy. Because happy mums mena happy kids ❤
Perhaps you can balance things out for Annika. For example, have some child centred days on the planned vacations. Re a full day at Lapland for her or a day at the theme park for her. That will certainly make for balanced activities for all family members ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thoroughly enjoying your Mumbai videos! It's a very vibrant city full of amazing architecture. Loved the interior of the museum, especially the dome. I think Annika was just a little too tired today. She does amazingly well keeping up with you both and she's such a great eater which makes it a lot easier when travelling. 🌷❤
