As someone who has just recently moved out, I feel the pain of the homesickness. I think there must be personality reasons why some people feel it so intensely. Stay strong. I'm glad you are still doing things that scare you.

Ahh Grace I really feel for you when you talk about your homesickness! I m exactly the same. I m 39 with a 9 year old child and still suffer when I go on holidays. Take it as a positive that you must be very content with your home and every day life as I am. Good on you for getting out of your comfort zone 😘😘
I used to get such bad home sickness, to the point where it would make me feel sick and cry, had to be picked up from sleepovers many a time lool, but then as i got older i just realised, as long as ive got myself im fine, no matter how far away from home! Exposure is the only way to get over such fears, as you're demonstrating, so kudos for the honesty because so many people have this anxiety xxx

Grace, your feelings and anxiety of not being home I feel are not abnormal! My youngest is will be 28 this year and married and she is the same way. She gets it from me. I’m horrible just before a trip/vacation.

That breakfast made me so hungry!!! I’ve never seen such a beautiful buffet. I love breakfast foods...except I hate egg whites. I could never swallow the whites. The smell, texture..gag! I never get homesick when I'm in France somehow, because I've been there many times even though I suck at French. However when I'm not in my hometown or France for a while... Dude, it's hard... It makes me so homesick...So I applaud you for this. 💖
I’m so jealous of that breakfast. When I was in China there were a few breakfast buffets like that and they were INCREDIBLE. I honestly would WALK back to China for the breakfasts.

Las Vegas has some great buffets if you’re looking to travel. Plus, you can visit a mini Eiffel Tower and ride a gondola down a fake Venice canal.
