As a New Zealander seeing that Massey Ferguson 50 brought back a lot of memories of standing on the foot wells with my grandfather driving flat out at 40kmh haha
Great to see the old equipment put back into production. So many farmers end up under water due to loans on new equipment. If you've got the skills this is a great, and prudent, way to go.
Great to see you helping others keep these old machines going. It's especially helpful to keep them going, so smaller farmers don't need to constantly fight the "right to repair" fight of modern equipment.
Great fun , I have enjoyed watching you salvage good old tractors they were all built to work the land with each model bringing its own thing to the game . It’s great to see them being restored thanks.
Those are absolutely magnificent pieces of machinery! They have their charm! Love them a lot! I can only imagine how beautiful they are if painted and restored. I wish you had an opportunity to fully restore at least one of those beauties!
This was a very fun video for me I worked at Oklahoma's biggest tractor auction and bring in Idabel Oklahoma Brinkley's auction for 4 years I had to do this type of thing everyday about 50 times a day I wish I took pictures of all the things that I had to stack on trailers much of which went to Mexico this is bringing back lots of memories
I had a large Gale skytrak which I could do this all day real simply like it was fun for a while and then it became too much had to move on wasn't enough
The most tractors I was able to fit on a semi truck was 9 nine end fords and 2 square balers three four wheelers four riding mowers and other random farm equipment attachments all went to mexico
930 Case tractors are just what a tractor should be, a giant motor with 4 tires. No frills. Thanks for helping your friend keep his old machines running.
I love it more old iron saved !! I love theses old tractors ....strong ....solid ....reliable !! Great work guys !!! Can't wait to see what's next !! 👍👍
Love seeing you rescue old farm equipment as my grandfather was a farmer and have many good memories of spending time down on the farm and out in the fields with him
When you change your heat on the welder you have to let it go back to idle then change your heat if you don't then you run the risk of messing up the dial changer. I have the same model and that's after I messed up 2 dials because of that. I do love your channel bud and love what you do keep it up because people today would rather let the old iron rot in there yards instead of getting them running again or selling them to people that will
Your pal just overcame the huge obstacle of finding parts for those vintage tractors. He is home free now and can rest easy because he has a supply of parts to put those old Cases back to work.
Great work , I love the truck , the crane and winch is super nice . Glad you helped him save these old machines . The new stuff is to dependent on to many sensors and switches that will not stand the test of time . These old machines set in the weather for decades and they are still worth the effort of repair . Simplicity is the key . I love your channel , great work and craftsmanship .
Back in the late 1970s, I was grinding a piece of metal without wearing safety glasses and a redhot ember went into my left eye. I learned the hard way that PPE especially safety glasses are very important. Friendly advice.
When I was a kid we used case tractors , these are 931s, means that they have a gear drive rear in 930s had chain drive. We had the standard, these are the row crop version. You have a lot of work ahead of you, enjoy
All that time digging out the tires, trying to get air in, welding those rusted steering units, getting all set to winch up the tractors an then- brakes set and frozen! Of course the brakes were locked! Duh!😂😂 but you two just keep on keeping on! I love your stick to it never give up attitude! Great job!
The case 930 is about 8,850 lbs, PITMAN POLECAT PC 1000 is rated at 11,200 lbs. Love the channel, people dont understand the work its takes for maintenance and repairs, keep up the good work.
Our neighbor run one of these old girls back in the 70's. Great to hear someone taking the time to keep a few running. Sure I would tag along if you guys want to help. Loved the video
Of all the old tractors in this video, I liked that little Massey Ferguson 50 the most. We all have our preferences, I guess, but I’ve never been partial to Case tractors for farm or construction. Still, I’m glad your friend got the parts he needs to keep his tractor in the field.
had that same cab on our 930 dont think it had a windshield wiper i always took cab off late march nice thing about 30 series they'll start on -40f mornings shift into gear the powershift case not so much modern tractors dont even bother to try the 930 was my go to for daily grinding feed manure spreader bale fork & 3pt snow blower even pull school bus out of ditch 7am can pull a 6/16 plow in 2nd low lightweight & power its the perfect tractor for cutting baling meadows/cattail slews the 1030 had 540/1000 pto
I'd say if you have a small holding or even a small farm, using these older tractors can make sense, as they don't cost much, there is very little to go wrong on them and they are light weight, so less soil impaction. It's also nice to see the old tractors given a new lease of life.
Paul Standing, As I hear it, he intends to butcher that ARARE rig for a few parts. Perhaps he might Trade Up, with a collector, to get a better tractor.?
Them old cases are they best part of the country they worth a mint

Great to see you helping others keep these old machines going. It's especially helpful to keep them going, so smaller farmers don't need to constantly fight the "right to repair" fight of modern equipment.

Those are absolutely magnificent pieces of machinery! They have their charm! Love them a lot! I can only imagine how beautiful they are if painted and restored. I wish you had an opportunity to fully restore at least one of those beauties!
You're getting really good at these recoveries! Nice to see the machines getting used AND cleaning up the are. Wins all over the place.
Saving old iron is good history preservation, nice that they are not barn queens

I could have just stuck my Forks under the tractor and stuck it on your trailer made things go a lot quicker
The most tractors I was able to fit on a semi truck was 9 nine end fords and 2 square balers three four wheelers four riding mowers and other random farm equipment attachments all went to mexico

Just a note to say, YES, I enjoyed watching. Keep up the good work.
These old tractors will outlive all of us if they are taken care of. I’d say, thanks for no more old shop construction vids.
Always a good time seeing old tractors being used instead of sitting rusting away.
Glad to see you working on equipment again.
This is just awesome Matt! Thanks for sharing!
Wow what a process
Watch all of your videos and thanx for checking the clearance height on the tallest tractor.😀

Yep never change amperage settings under load. It will burn the contacts and/or melt them together. AL B.

Not going to mention no guard and aiming it directly at his partners junk and femoral?
I love the "Now we're going to fix the steering on the other tactor" - Cut to scene of 'hitting it with a hammer and spraying it with WD40" :D
A interesting video all the way through bro so thanks for taking us along. Safe travels.
I'd love to see a follow-up on these old classics and the others he still uses.

Ok, sorry I just read to much into your answer. Tend to get a bit protective about my old cars.
Nice job on the old cases I would have thought the old propane machine is very rare hope we see them up and running in future videos 👍😀
Paul Standing, As I hear it, he intends to butcher that ARARE rig for a few parts. Perhaps he might Trade Up, with a collector, to get a better tractor.?
@@paulsilva3346 yes I hope he trades up with a collector. It seems the old propane tractor is very rare.
I hope you get the crane sorted out, together with the winch and the trailer this is the perfect rig for such jobs!
