- USE CODE MAC5 FOR 5% OFF AT SUPERCLEAR EPOXY! Here is step 6! In this step of the process, I pour the (SUPER)clear epoxy over the rocks and the tacky blue epoxy. I fill this all the way to the top of the wood and even a little over.
Some of y’all might think we push @superclearepoxy and post about it all the time for our own gain… the truth is, it’s just the best epoxy product there is. L👀K at that clarity! Just wait until you see the finished product.
Step 7 coming tomorrow!

I want to do this with gemstones! Great idea.
That would be awesome. I’d love to see it! Tag me on Instagram so I can keep up with your progress.

Excellent! Just did a similar build that mirrors Snake River in WY
Super cool!!
My future creative dream
You can do it 💪🏼
Getting rid of the bubbles was satisfying lol
I agree! It’s always one of my favorite parts.
this looks so amazing
Thank you!
It's beautiful
Thank you!
Stunning! 🙂
Thanks!
@@MacArthurWoodworks I forgot to sub, rectified 🙂
@@antitheist9976 I really appreciate that! Every little bit helps.
Nice
Thanks!
Awesome.
Thanks!
What shade of blue epoxy is used? I went to your website and saw that you used it with the beautiful charcuterie boards as well.
we actually use a combination of a bunch of different blue pigments to put into the epoxy. We use Baltic Day pigments! You can try them out and get 10% off using code MAC10
How much epoxy did this poor take? I’m going to be doing a similar size table, but want to make sure I have enough epoxy
It was probably a couple gallons. I don’t remember exactly.
Wow
So satisfying!
@@MacArthurWoodworks It's beautiful!
@@QueenDred thanks so much!
Can you put other things inside the epoxy... Like fake butterflies? I want to make something similar for my partner but worried they would melt from the epoxy
Yes, you can cast things in the epoxy. You just have to be very careful when you put them in and continuously check for bubbles.
Have you ever used Zdspoxy epoxy resin?
I haven’t!
We're you get the plastic apoxy table moulds from and how mutch 😊😊

I’m sorry?
I’ve been watching your videos. I absolutely love your work. It’s beautiful. Can I ask though, what is the first song in the video? I love it and can’t get it out of my head but I can’t find it by the lyrics. Thank you so much for sharing your work and for your response.
Thanks so much! It’s actually “Swallowed in the Sea” by Coldplay, but it’s sped up because it was playing in my shop and I sped up the video. It sounds really cool fast 😂 thanks for commenting! I’d love for you to subscribe and find me on Instagram!
Did you blowtorch it?
Just to pop the bubbles.
Am about to attempt a river table..
What did u coat on the live wood edge prior to infill of resin?
I used table top epoxy to seal the live edges. Here is my link to use for SuperClear if you’d like to use the stuff I do!

What do you use to make your borders for your work... so cool
It’s HDPE - www.ahonuiartisans.com
So is this an epoxy that you pour it, torch out bubbles and it’s good to go? No sanding?
SuperClear’s table top epoxy doesn’t need to be sanded. In this video, I’m using their deep pour epoxy that will need to be planed and sanded to be a finished product.
Did you sand and finish the colored layer of epoxy before pouring the clear?
No, I didn’t. I poured the colored layer, waited until it was tacky, and then poured clear (after adding rocks).
Do you mix A&Btogether and then pour? How much of each ? Good work man looks beautiful
Yes! for the deep pour, it’s 2:1. For table top, it’s 1:1
Can you list the products you used? Your skills are awesome! I think I wanna do some similar now. Always looking for new tips and concepts.
That’s awesome! I can list them here if you want me to, but if you go to the description of my channel it has all the products I use (and discount codes!)
@@MacArthurWoodworks I'll check it out! Thanks!

Needs more rocks
Oh, it’s much too late for that, Rohar. I appreciate your input though. Ultimately, I went with what the paying customer asked for!
@@MacArthurWoodworksNaw. You did the right amount. Not all rivers have a ton of stones. You could however put tiny pebbles the size of pea for some spots.
@@SicsemperevelloMortemtyr-by9hj thanks for the input! I went with what the customer wanted in this scenario.
How you hold down rocks or other stuff that way want to float when pour epoxy on it ???
@@kyleb2394 I put the rocks in when the blue layer was still tacky. That holds them down a bit, but the rocks are heavy enough to stay put for the clear layer of epoxy.
Beautiful! ❤ Did you cover every pebble in epoxy before pour?
No, I didn’t. It’s not a bad idea though to prevent bubbles!
What is the blue item at the bottom
The blue is also epoxy that has almost cured. I’m pouring this clear layer on top of the blue epoxy and rocks to create the 3D look.
@nice4faggot thanks so much! I really appreciate your comment.
What color of blue epoxy?
Cheesier than your background music but nice pour😂
I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment on my video, Spear Fisher.
@MacArthurWoodworks I mean that with total respect. Both those songs rock and i'm hoping it was a client request to have the rocks in there.😄
Seriously great work and I totally would never attempt a pour like that. Hats off to you and the team!
@@SpearFisher85 thank you!
