Ok! I was buying avocados at Costco for a long time until I just read that they have signed up with Eco farms and now spraying their produce with the APEEL spray? Reading further this Apeel is headed up by Bill Gates and few other famous people like Ophra Winfrey for one. Ralph’s is doing this too to starve off produce from perishing quickly? So who’s really looking out for you? And anything that says it’s suppose to be organic is suppose to have the first number on the pkg as a 9! I found one today at Costco that said organic and had that number out of the 4 or 5 characters that states that product name. The others that said organic , did NOT have that number 9 on the labels. Anything Bill Gates is pushing, I am not buying cause he’s the one for population control and we can read all about his history. Just my thoughts. Do your own investigating first.
They also raised their price $2.
Apeel is not proven to be safe... stay cautious about untested poisons...
Also studies on APEEL are awful a real toxin.
Doctor, the metal cans are lined with plastic. Please like so he may see this message.
Costco Pesto contains inflammatory “Sunflower” oil in the first few ingredients (meaning high levels of it). Look for the real deal with 100% extra virgin olive oil. Most Italian markets, like Caputo’s in the greater Chicago area carries it.
I know! I don't know why he's plugging that pesto when it has an oil that is clearly on his no list
@@barbaraeulayne /////i am so upset! We watched the video and bought 2 pots today. I cooked up my cassava pasta, slathered it in pesto. Oh my goodness amazing. I then read the label. WHAT!!!!! skimmed milk and sunflower oil!
Sounds like a paid promotion from Costco
Yeah… it’s definitely confusing, I’ve been aware of this contradiction for a long time. but I gotta say…I eat at least one tub of that pesto a week, and have for years… with no issues. My guess is the amount of those ingredients is low enough to not make a difference. 🙏🏽
@@DJP-Love years ago when he plugged that pesto it only had olive oil in it now they've added the sunflower and it's highly inflammatory doesn't matter about what amount. Look on Dr gundry's no list it is definitely there. If you think you're okay I would suggest a leaky gut test
I found Dr. G though some pretty aggressive critique videos.
So glad I did. You're a treasure, lovey. ❤️🙏
I love your talks. Perfect. I love when people talk clear & like they like talking to ya 🥰
Dr. Gundry, thank you for this video. It helps “everyday” folks who can’t afford those very expensive, high end, organic markets some valuable options at Costco. I want very much to make healthy choices, but the reality is my paycheck definitely determines how far I can go. Costco is on my budget and thank you for understanding, and taking the time to make recommendations that are reasonable for average Jo. ❤
I am glad Dr Gundry , that you have talked about Costco,
I agree with you,
A wonderful place to shop , healthy food.
Sincerely, Costco
Costco must have given him many gift cards to do this commercial!!! 😂
thank you gundry! yes!
Hope you feel better Doc!
You rock. So many good ideas. Thanks!
Love these Costco series!
Dr. Gundry's insights on navigating grocery choices, especially with new food coatings and organic options at Costco, are incredibly valuable for those of us looking to make healthier, more informed decisions. It's a reminder that what we put into our bodies truly matters.
Thank you for the Costco shopping tips!!!!
Thank you!
Only way you can change your body is change what you consume, sleep more and do fasting. At least that is what works for me and many others.
Yes their kalamata olives are my fav
To make them more authentic I add oregano from my sister-in-law's garden in Greece and some olive oil. So yummy!
And their crumbled feta.
Excellent!! Thank you 🙏🏻
Thanks again doctor G !
Thank you
Loved this episode- u score 💯 love pic of products I have Gut Chec, longevity, plant n my fav energy paradox. I followed this post with my fav book Energy Paradox. It is absolutely dah best!!! I even have my daughter doing the same- we love 💕 u Dr Gundry!!! Ps I also have the Keto Code book👍!
FYI Doc ,talking about fruits that are not in season such as winter months ( November, December , January and so on ) fruits that come fro Chile , Argentina , Peru ( where the best blueberries come from ) those countries are going thru their Summer season unlike us , so their fruit is very seasonal , that’s why Costco is so special cause they offer fruits all year long , thinking about your old patient that you named Big Ed , that one who gave you your big boost , be very thankful to him .
I agree. He keeps talking about in season fruits but in this day and age fruits are in season somewhere all year long. I don't understand his thoughts on this!
@@gabbys7719I understand what he means by eating fruits in season …I live in California so the strawberries are in season right now which are ready by late march up to late June, but if you see strawberries at the grocery stores in September they are out of season…they had to import them from somewhere else to make them available. I hope this helps to understand. I keep a list of fruits and the months they are in season.
@h.briseno8597
I do understand but again they are in season somewhere and I don't see the harm in importing them. Why is that harmful??
@@gabbys7719 google it or watch his UA-cam videos on it.
good ad for costco.
excellent. ty
Read the ingredient label on the spices. Many have corn starch and sugar added. I was shocked.
Good info 😊
Thank you for the info Dr. G. I don’t always have time to run to my different grocery stores so when I can purchase more off of my list at Costco it helps. Question, do we need to be concerned by the “No List” oils in some of the products you mentioned. Take care!
Hello Doc, thanks for the Costco heads up. I have a question about their olive oil. The extra virgin organic comes in a plastic jug, but I buy the glass bottle that’s not organic. Which is the better olive oil?
Dr.Gundry what about the peanut oil in the Marcona Almonds from Costco?? Would you suggest the Marcona with olive oil or plain only?
Agree about the pesto, it’s delicious.
Love the taste but stopped eating it when I discovered it has highly inflammatory refined sunflower oil.
He’s right
Gracias x hayan su canal
I live on the New Hampshire sea coast. There is no costco , there is a whole food hannafi'd walmart , alright for groceries
Change playback speed to 2 - Thank me later
His voice sounds more normal at that speed.
Is that like a testosterone injection or something?
Or maybe he ate a steak?
WAY more masculine.
Beautiful tip ....what a difference
lol who watches most things below 2x speed
Your funny
I always watch his videos at x1.75 to x2 speed 😁
terra chips use canola oil
Dr Gundry, is better to take Glutathione or Inmunocal ?, another question is what brand is better?
Dr. Gundry, I noticed that some of my supplements/vitamins contain "oranic brown rice," "organic rice hull concentrate," "medium chain triglycerirdes," soybeans or rice flour. Is it safe to take them or should I throw them away? Thank you very much.
Por favor Dr. Gundry ponga subtítulos en español, no entendemos los de habla hispana , por favor
Hey, are carbonated mineral waters safe for human consumption? My concern is with consuming carbon infiltrated drinks.
Dr. Gundry, please give people your take on this new coating they will be applying to our fruits and vegetables (conventional and organic)called Apeel. Most ingredients not revealed and cannot be washed off. Supposed to increase shelf life to up to a year!! Gives a glass-like appearance and changes texture of all produce. Give us your thoughts please!!
Don’t eat it… you’re welcome
Apeel is a Bill Gates product. Stay away from anything with that label. Some stores are placing another seal over the Apeel label so be careful what you buy!
aPEEL Technology, Inc. is a Bill & Melinda Gates (of hell) Foundation-backed/funded company. The Foundation's website states the Purpose of aPEEL is “to develop a natural molecular camouflage to create a barrier that renders the foods’ natural surfaces unrecognizable to bacteria, fungi, and insects.” In other words, if an insect won’t eat it, neither should we. I hear the problem will be that products won’t always have the aPEEL label.
Avoid it like your life depends on it. It's backed/funded by Gates and their Foundation's website states the technology's purpose is “To develop a natural molecular camouflage to create a barrier that renders the foods’ natural surfaces unrecognizable to bacteria, fungi, and insects.” If an insect won’t eat it, neither should we! Problem will be knowing when products have it because many won’t be labeled.
Anything Bill Gates is involved in is a big, fat NO! Do not eat anything with Apeel, Edipeel or Organipeel. He has said several times that his mission is to decrease the population. That means he’s doing what he can to poison us!
Hi, before I head to Costco, trusting your list, are you sponsored, endorsed, or receive any compensation from Costco, please?
Primal Kitchen changed their formula. They added potato starch in their recipe. Is that still safe?
The new Rotisserie Chicken packaging is so much nicer, flavor has improved dramatically and moisture is held in better
Dr. Gundy, I appreciate your content but I’m confused as in another video you stated that, pistachio’s come from the ivy plant which makes them toxic.
Do walnuts, pistachios, pecans not have enzyme inhibitors that make them difficult to digest?
I kept looking for the snack that looked like peppermint candy that was in the photo of this video
What happens to bloodwork when eating rasberries or fruit out of season??
I buy walnuts from Costco and store them in the refrigerator.
Me too
If the fruit comes from South America, isn't the fruit in season for them in our winter?
My Costco artichoke hearts are drenched in canola oil
Agree. Rare to find artichokes in an oil we can have
I was about to say the same. So many good stuff at Costco is contaminated by deadly Canola oil.
I always buy frozen ones at my grocery. Not sure if at costco
Canola oil is said to be highly inflammatory
It’s for sure confusing. 🤦🏼♀️ please comment on this Dr. Gundry!
The flavored San Pelagrino is loaded with surger Dr. G.
Carbonation is also not good for your teeth!
My gma and mom both said no carbonated drinks back in the 60s.
@vjr5261 forgive me. I do not see your point, if there is one.
@chrisnagel4827 been drinking carbonated drinks for most of my life and I still have all my teeth. The bad teeth probably comes from the surgar in the carbonated drinks. Tell them to brush their teeth on occasion.
@vjr5261 oh! And carbonated drinks have been around since 1886, John Pemberton, founder of Coke, started it.
New item: sweet potato chips made with avocado oil.
I tried them. Just ok.. I prefer. Plantain chips. Puka brand or make my own
Super worried about glyphosate - and there's plenty in pistachios. Also in ALL the nuts sold.
Don't understand about eating only in-season fruits. Aren't all fruits in season somewhere? Granted we import them but that is the advantage of modern living. We don't have to wait until the growing season in our area as we did years ago. Transportation allows us to eat fruit all year long. I'm confused.
He means in season where you live. For me, that's southern California and when a particular fruit is in season in my local farmers market, that's when I buy it. The fruits flown in from other countries are not in season always. Drr gundry says that many fruits are not picked when ripe abd mostly bred for sugar content and size. Watch one of his other videos about sugar, it will elaborate
Why don't they make mars and bounty bars with Stevia? 😞
The Wholly Guacamole can be frozen as well.
Doc, you misspelled Costco in your header😀
Dr Gundry, That Costco Pesto is made with Sunflower Oil. Is that okay? I thought I read sunflower oil was on your "bad list".
Was here to ask the same q
He often says that sunflower oil is crap...but he must be getting a kickback from Costco. This dude is all about money and marketing 😂😂😂. If you give Gundry enough money he'll tell you that arsenic is good for you 😂😂😂
@@mikepetrilli4686 yes twist and turn his words
I’ve had this question for years. But I eat a tub a week and haven’t had any issues. There’s nothing else out there for even close as affordable. And… years now… no problems. 🤷🏼♀️
Please note that Costco carries many different brands and several of the products they sell go through reformulations and updates to the recipe. We hope this video provides an excellent guide to help you shop for healthy foods but still urge you to look at the labels and stay vigilant.
Oh great, I just remembered I have blueberries in the fridge from Costco.
When you say don’t eat raspberries out of season because their origin is a country in the souther hemisphere, are they not in season at their source?
It’s about eating what’s in season where you live. Ideally we are eating the foods growing in our neighborhoods… hope that helps. 😉
The best snacks are NO snacks. Eggs, meat, butter! Two meals per day, sixteen to twenty hours between meals, no snacks. No hunger no need to snack. Rarley need pain meds. Just sayin'.
There's something missing in your comment and that is nothing mentioned about any carbs at all
haha oh how I agree. Wish I could do it, but I think I'd die lol
Meat? 🤢
I bought conventional avocados and organic bananas from Costco and neither one of them turned brown! That means they both have Apeel sprayed on them!
I always get organic bananas at costco and always get brown … I wait 3-4 days for them to get spots because I use them to make oatmeal cookies with them.
D4. Gundry looks great for 55
So what does unseasonal mean? Our ancestors weren't seasonal, they were nomads. During the summer time they hate woolly mammoth up in the North. When I got ❄️ they went South and consume kiwi. So when you're stuck in your double wide trailer in Tennessee you don't have those conveniences. And your body doesn't't know the difference. So how can you make a comparison about eating things that are in season?
Costco has almost 0 organic herbs. They all are in big containers, but almost no organic herbs
Costco does not have organic artichokes. They have non organic artichokes
@@cjsnyper9075 Costco in California probably does, many things I cant find in Chicago, they have in Cali (including big tubs of grassfed Ghee)
Doc if any of these products E.g. olives, some of the nuts, seeds, etc. contain seed oils that item is crap.
"Tomatoes aren't part of guacamole" Mexicans everywhere: "WTF?"
Exactly, LOL. Ya gotta consider the source…
I am allergic in general to mushrooms, even though I like mushrooms.
Cosco does have a lot of good things Dr G but some of the things are going up in price
So we can have guacamole in soft plastic containers but not Pellegrino? Have you tried Thai basil? They sell it in Asian stores, much cheaper than regular basil, but very strong basil taste.
Also very easy to propagate it… I grew my own for a while but honestly I eat so much pesto it wasn’t worth the time and energy… and actually cost more to add the cheese and nuts than to buy at Costco 🤦🏼♀️
Don’t buy any drinks in plastic. It leaches into the drink.
I buy Costco’s organic cauliflower rice but they have restocked since December ☹
The pesto is made with canola oil not olive oil That is sad
Please note that Costco carries many different brands and several of the products they sell go through reformulations and updates to the recipe. We hope this video provides an excellent guide to help you shop for healthy foods but still urge you to look at the labels and stay vigilant.
@@DrGundry I noticed the same thing, the oil was not Olive oil. It was an inferior seed oil.
It is a myth that pistachios in the Shell slow you down from eating to many, I just become a nut cracking fiend because they're so delicious🦋👣
ROFL!!!!
I get the unsalted pistachios in the shell . I can eat them quicker than the ones with salt . My tolerance for salty snacks has diminished 😊
They have a new Plant Based Ranch that doesn’t have any potato starch.
I think Costco is a big sponsor looolll
Wonder how much this doc has been paid the BIG BUCkS.Think about it? Not good for some allergies Nuts.certain fruits.
👍👍👍
Pesto contains sunflower oil
I learned the pistachio dilemma.
Dr Gundry sounds as tho he has a cold Hope he’s feeling well.
I wanted to buy olives from the olive bar, but every one was soaking in sunflower seed oil. NO SEED OILS!

@@DrGundry Absolutely helpful. I watch everything you produce.
Il fait de la pub pour Costco 😂
pesto has seed oil

Peeled almonds! Hmmmm
No matter if you eat expensive food or cheap food you all live over 90 the most people die in west fat rich countries drugs
My step father lived a poor life in his old age and he died close to 100
He smoked almost his fancy living life style even when was old & poor
My uncles all died of old age cancer but they made their full life one of them died old age farmer only old age
Don't do drugs everything is fine well
Do you know desert 🏜️ jungles islangs 🏝️ & poor war countries they live longer than Western country's fat rich food expensive food they eat
No you don't 🤨
Most of them don't have real age but they live long lives even though they're poor
The things I see on the website are business
Everybody gets cancer even old age get cancer even young age rich packets get cancer with all those fancy living money 💰
Almonds and pistachios, chocolate are full of oxalates , also chia seeds ( not mentioned)
No need to spend more on organic avocados specifically. They are part of the clean group from my research.
How about a sams club for snacks?
Primal Kitchen avocado oil mayo is NASTY NASTY NASTY ! ! !
I like it but I also make my own with avocado oil. Check out many recipes on UA-cam.
Chosen brand is better!
@elkears I agree, primal avocado mayo is nasty. Chosen avocado mayo is really good.
I'm surprised some agree with me about primal kitchen's lousy mayo. There's an email address on the jar for submitting comments. I emailed them about their product. They replied invalidating my opinion, and made NO offer to refund or replace the product. So I guess it's also a lousy company in general.
unfortunately they did something to the formulation... it used to be just as creamy as Chosen, but now it is just solidified white avocado butter :)
Not all Costco the same
Almonds have a bad omega 6 ratio. Don’t eat them.
Not Costco in Miami.they don’t have many organic products as others states. People here want everything in quantity not quality. Unfortunately:(
Shucks i went yesterday
Wait a sec! I thought Costco pesto contains seed oils. Am I wrong?
The Tara chips at Costco does have sunflower oil in them
Vinegar just pickles the internal organs. No vinegar. No wine.
Not agree about pesto and a few more. They using on pesto sunflower oil and pasteurized cultured part skimmed milk
How about a healthy candy?
Mexican guacamole has tomato.
Traditionally, no
