Thanks Gray. I agree Allen tried to get ahead of the game by coming forward. The old saying 'It's never the crime, it's the cover up' comes to mind. Your analysis & time frames make perfect sense. Now he can't hide anymore. Its wise to never underestimate this demon, he is a master of hiding in plain sight. But time analysis never lies.
Superb, detailed and flawless analysis, nailing the logistics that terrible day. Bravo! Of course Richard Allen is 'Bridge Guy', it's a no-brainer. There shouldn't be any public doubt about it, and there wouldn't be if the Keystone Cops hadn't messed up the murder investigation from day one. Allen should have been identified and charged within two weeks of this high-profile, double child murder in a public location, in broad daylight. After all, we now know he pretty much handed himself over to the authorities, gift wrapped! Supt Doug Carter was wrong when he said the killer was, quote: 'hiding in plain sight'. He wasn't hiding at all. Identifying, interviewing and eliminating every person present on the trails that day, is the most basic police work. Yet incredibly they failed to do it, letting a highly dangerous predator walk free for five years. If Allen didn't kill again during that extended time period, it's no thanks to bumbling investigators. Prosecutors would inevitably have built a stronger case against Allen and better forensics, had he been apprehended promptly. He's had a lot of time to get rid of evidence and cover his tracks. I sincerely hope they're pulling their punches, and holding back some knockout evidence for trial. That said, Allen's striking resemblance to 'Bridge Guy', the suspect captured on cellphone video stalking teen victims Abby and Libby, the fact he admits he was at the crime scene at the relevant date and time, wearing the relevant clothes, and was indeed seen there by multiple witnesses, is compelling evidence. To call this police investigation flawed, is like saying 9-11 was a bad day at the office. Under the dubious 'leadership' of Doug Carter (FGS someone hand that guy a Kleenex, his constant sniffing during media briefings is intolerable), law enforcement took a crazy number of wrong steps. From their bizarre, belated release of a much younger suspect image/description two years on, that totally contradicted the original (seventeen years old and clean shaven? I don't think so), to the disastrous 'Anthony Shots/Keegan Kline' rabbit hole that went precisely nowhere, Supt Carter made one false move after another. Frankly I'm not convinced the guy could find his own ass in the dark if someone shut the lights out. Keep up the excellent work Sir!
Gray is 100% on the mark here both with crystal clear logic and a wonderful diagram of the timings and people. Anyone who doesn't believe Allen is BG is either a huge conspiracy theorist or someone who has deep CSI effect and won't believe anything unless it's on film.
Thanks Gray, as this makes perfect sense and the animation is so concise, could this be used in court by the prosecution? To me the evidence only points in one direction... that Richard Allen is BG! Every time I see something or think of this case, I wonder how someone so young, had the presence of mind to record this animal. I do hope there is more on the video that we are yet to see, both Libby and Abby were way smarter than they thought... Thanks again Grey, always intelligent content. 👍🦘

People keep arguing his height like he’s too short to be bridge guy. He really does look like him and who admits to a crime they didn’t commit?? Im not sure I believe someone would do that.
Allen IS 100% Bridge Guy.....in every way, shape and form. It's obvious from comparing the video to his pictures and the early sketches, and from his own statements it's bloody obvious. His confessions prove to me he was the sole perpetrator. Anyone even suggesting he's not BG is a conspiracy theorist or worse.

I do believe RA is Bridge Guy. I also believe the evidence from the PCA is pretty damning for him. He basically confesses to being there, and to wearing what Bridge guy was wearing. As well as confessing to his wife. (She probably knows definitively just by looking at him walking on the bridge and what he's wearing) Does anyone have an opinion on what his motive was? He went out there with weapons, likely found the girls on that side of the bridge to be an opportunity, but I'm baffled as to why? Especially considering the way they were found. (Maybe that was him trying to cover it up somehow or throw detectives off) Was SA a motive? or was that not determined? Great graphics and timeline, GH! So Betsey Blair could have easily been his victim had she crossed the bridge...
Even if he didn't sexually assault them (idk actually I'm not that familiar) it's still likely there was a sexual motivation for his crimes. There's all kinds of sick kinks ppl get wrapped up in that they eventually give into, sometimes it means they need an unwilling partner.
I personally think it's going to come out that the motive wasn't all that complicated, the usual sordid stuff. He had a sexual predilection for young girls, along with the sadist control thing. The rest was staged after the fact....after he had their clothes off.

Hey Gray, nice job! I'm having a problem making sense of this senecio but here's what I got.. RA is driving down 300N when he see's the girls taking photos at 1:26 pm. RA then decides to park his car within walking distance fully decked out with his kill kit ready to kill.. RA just happens to pass on the three that caught his eye ... Didn't even look at them. Then RA walks to the HB and there he is met by another potential victim and he passes on that. How did RA know he would get another chance...? Thanks for the video. I see only two ways that Allen couldn't have seen the victims on the trail as they approached the Monan High Bridge. One would be that he stepped into the woods for a few minutes and just missed them passing him as they walked on the trail. The obvious explanation for this circumstance would be him stepping into the woods to urinate and not being aware that two teenaged girls passed him as they walked on the trail. The other way he could have missed them is that they wandered off the trail for some reason and he passed where they were in the woods without seeing them as he walked west along the trail. For either of these scenarios to work, he would have had to have moved slowly enough towards the west that he wouldn't encounter Betsy Blair as she finished her walk to the Freedom Bridge and then back to where she parked. I think he did claim at one time to have sat on a bench before going back to his car, but I'm not aware of a bench that would have been where Betsy Blair wouldn't have seen him. Given all of the attention that the case has received and the need to get every detail right, I don't see him going into the woods for a little while on his return trip from the bridge and not mentioning that detail to the police. For him to have told his story and left out the detail that would give a plausible explanation for his not seeing the victims seems very improbable. That means that the victims leaving the trail for some reason as the only option where he could be telling the truth about not seeing the victims. The victims would have just arrived, so I don't think that they would need to duck into the woods to go to the bathroom. They had gone to the trails intent on crossing the bridge, so that's another reason why they wouldn't go into the woods. If they did leave the woods and he passed without knowing that they were there, we still have to find an explanation why Betsy Blaire didn't notice him as she came back to where she parked and why he didn't notice her as he walked back to his car. Maybe he was sitting on a bench somewhere that she would have passed but he leaned forward to look at his phone and she just didn't notice him. That's possible but seems unlikely. As I look at these facts and speculations, I can't see any way that he wouldn't see the victims as they approached the bridge. That he denied seeing them makes me believe that he is lying. Once I see him as a liar, I'm skeptical of everything else he said.
