    We can go to consumer court to prove that we have not taken a consultation from the doctor regarding disease, we have only a report of it. The company is asking for a doctor's letter but we are not taking treatment from any doctor.

    Unless you name them, you are knowingly jeopardising other customers as well
    As Rightfully said, never trust the insurance companies wholeheartedly. While having an insurance is good, always have a medical emergency fund

    There should be IRDAI interference for very policy approval be it from any company.... Because they can take ultimate decision in this case as they have capacity to regulate any Insurer...
    But why ditto did not want to pitch in IRDAI for that long??
    It was a cashless network hospital by a Insurer and how he can come and say that doctor and insured party were conspired to fraud Insurer.... Did it really happen??

    Even my claim was rejected with Niva Bupa
    Insurers became too smart to cheat customers, always find a loop hole to reject
    In my case they created a fake documents with a un exisisted hospital name and cheated
    In one of your video kavya spoken about Niva Bupa (indirectly) how companies always find loop hole and bluff
    When it comes to Niva Bupa guys don't fo for it, their service and their response was worst
    Service and communication is also important as important as policy and it's features

      Niva Bupa has a shitty cuatomer service.They took 3 months to resolve an issue.Finally,i had to go for cancellation of policy.

    If a person takes insurance for 3 years and after one year if he needed to port to some other companies, shall he get the remaining 2 years of money refunded????

    Does the insurance ( ex: HDFC ERGO OPTIMA Secure) can reject a claim after 3 years or 4 years ( waiting period ) on any kind of future unseen scenarioes ?

    My claim also rejected as my wife admit in emergency with caviar pain in lower abdomen, but all reports are good no problem find out and Dr said it's a minor UTI and musel cram but she need to Hospitalised still my claim rejected.Is it justified

    Why IRDAI has no customer grievance reports from 2020 onwards and you guys have all the data of volume of complaints after those years?

    can you name which insurance company you dealt with? i had a similar issue with Niva Bupa when i wanted add PED post issuance of Insurance .They asked for first consultation report which would be of 6 years old

      Don't worry ,,, ditto have 300 members in their customer care team and each n every person have some slots booked 3 days before only . So you have to wait for that .

    What Legal Implications are there to reveal the name? There is no legal implications only buisness implications for Ditto

Had a horrible experience with Niva Bupa .. what is the use of so many features if u r not able to make a claim ultimately... but now I have shifted to Optima secure for the last 6 months ... U need to have a good agent at your back to help u out in those critical times...

    Ditto carriers are not that good i tried to apply job on April 24 and still haven't gotten any reply from them constantly I'm asking for an update also they told me within 2 weeks but even 1 round didn't take place. I have high hopes for ditto but I didn't expect from them

      We don’t support the insurance company at all. Any spurious rejection is a blemish on the insurer and it is our job as an intermediary to make sure our customers receive their dues. You are free to choose any insurer/intermediary you like. But hopefully this video gives you and idea of how to navigate similar situations :)

    Once I booked a slot. The agent called from your side doesn't know Hindi.
    She rescheduled my slot to a Hindi knowing agent but he didn't call me till now. Don't you have a Hindi knowing agent or you think a customer who doesn't know English well cant buy a health insurance policy with you

      I booked my call and specifically asked for a regional language speaking advisor.. and they got it on point. Faced 0 issues 🤷🏻‍♂️

    It seems this claim was settled on the grounds of business, not on ethical grounds. If the client were genuine, he or she would not apply in just the first month of the policy, which means he or she bought the policy for the claim.
    Second, why had our team not initially educated themselves about the T&C while discussing the policy instead of features.?
    Such claims should not be settled and highlighted by you to encourage such people who look at insurance as an opportunity and later create burdens of premium enhancement for genuine people.
    Please avoid such promotional practices.
    You are doing good work, so please don’t promote such practices but instead talk about transparency. 🙏🙏

      Hello, Claiming in first month does not make any customer NOT being genuine. It may be the customer might have forgotten or not aware of the same. There might be reason why they took the case ahead despite knowing it was within a month. You, casting a shortsighted and sinister intent on a customer is completely wrong as you do not know the complete details. It tells how fast you make a decision on customer without asking relevant questions or reasons. Remember that people tend to forget the T&C or do not read Policy wording, which is wrong. The agents should definitely taking them through whole document after features explanation. Note: Insurer too has many ways to reject which you cannot think, even if you read 100 times the policy wordings. There are teams sitting to reject the claim. You can get this by seeing ICR of govt and private insurers. Hence comes the experience of agents( FOR PROFIT). Some agents do not tell anything about policy wordings too until triggered by customer. I am not from DITTO but a plain customer who has got or is looking comprehensive health insurance. You decisive statement on genuineness of customer is the one which I object too. In any industry there might be very very less people who take service with a fraudulent intent but there are many many companies or agents or service providers who deceive much more then customers.

      We have practice to mention complete details stating from birth till date of filling proposal and educating customer about important T&C like (permanent exclusions, limitations, policy cancellation clause, product modification clause, product withdrawal clause,etc).
      No Company reject genuine claims. The problem with people who belongs to the industry focus more about sales instead of transparency.

      My dear, having been in this industry for 12 years, I have had little exposure to such sensitive issues. For your kind information, these illnesses are called slow-growing illnesses in nature. If it was a case of sudden illness, I would be strongly committed to supporting the customer. But whereas in such a case where it’s clearly a slow-growing illness and exactly after 30 days of waiting straightly went for treatment, I would like to strongly discourage such practices.✅
      We believe insurance is for genuine people, and in the last 12 years, only 10 claims of ours were rejected for being not genuine, and we settled 15,000+ health insurance claims.💡
      Insurance claims paid by any company from the pool of premium collected, which is hard-earned money for any individual, should not be available for such practices.
      It’s my personal opinion, and I have the right to speak. What is wrong should be called wrong, and whatever is right should be called right.💡
      My deepest apologies for those who hurt with my statement and lesson for those valuable clients who want to learn from such incidents and want to avoid such hurdles in there journey of tuff hours of hospitalisation and claim settlement.
