10歳でクライミングと出合い、高校を卒業するとプロに転向。2年後の2016年、ボルダリングでＷ杯年間総合優勝。2019年には世界選手権複合王者となり、再び世界の頂点に立つ。
そんな彼にとって、競技人生最大の失敗となったのが2021年に自国開催された世界大会だ。
大きな挫折を味わった彼は、次なる挑戦にどのように向かっているのか。
