I traveled my way across Manitoba in search for some really nice sized Manitoba lake trout fishing at Clearwater lake ! Clearwater lake in renown for excellent numbers of large sized lake trout. it was an amazing day full of great Manitoba lake trout and more importantly a great time kayak fishing! water depth and where to fish for lake trout looking at structure underneath the surface as well analyzing the the land itself and how that can play into effect when looking for the right area that will hold Manitoba lake trout. if you have never been to Clearwater lake for lake trout fishing I would highly recommended it is an excellent place to be for amazing fishing and create some memories you wont forget. kayak trout fishing is honestly one of the most fun you can have. there’s something about relying on your own physique, strength and endurance to battle harsh weather conditions and when you succeed in kayak trout fishing it’s one of the most amazing accomplishments because trout can be one of the most picky but also most aggressive species to try and target!! I hit 10 lakers in a small 2 hr window and that was one of the most unreal trout fishing experiences I have ever had lake trout fishing on a kayak. if you haven’t get your butt out there and try kayak fishing lake trout!! absolute blast!!
