Sightfishing Monster Pike and Trout Combo ft. Jon B. (Manitoba Northern Region)

- We head North with Jon B. from Fishing The Midwest (ua-cam.com/users/subscription_c...) to hunt for a Manitoba Master Angler 41" Northern Pike, and cast for some Lake Trout along the way too. The water is crystal clear and all the fish in Clearwater Lake are very shallow on this perfect spring day!

The way Aaron handles himself on the water and the way he lands large fish with bare hands is so damn impressive. World class stuff. Very underrated but extremely important part of fishing

Sometimes I wish I lived in Manitoba - but then I walk out my door 250 meters from the beach here in northern NSW Australia and go for a swim in late Autumn/early winter and the water is still 20c and think I don't really enjoying swimming when it's snowing :) Keep pumping out the awesome video's and I'll keep liking them!
Winter is a serious player here....definitely got to have the ice fishing essential gear so you can go hard all season!

Jon was thrilled by that 42" Pike as much as anyone else. I'd like to see y'all fish together more if anything. It looked like you both had a lot of fun.

I have had the chance to fish for pike in these conditions in another northern Manitoba lake and it is an off-the-charts experience. Aaron captured it very well.

those pike have almost the same pattern as the lake trout, like a wolf in sheeps clothing
pike are more green to blend into the weeds. the trout are more grey
