Liz Tran You are very welcome. One of my local dealerships wanted to charge me $50 to turn off this light. I had it there for warranty work and they said, "By the way, we will be glad to reset your maintenance light with our computer for just $50." The warranty work they did was valued at over $500, but of course no cost to me. I guess they just wanted some free money. I don't use that dealership any more.
what kind of feee warranty work did you get?? what did they do? i paid over 3thoudand for a good warranty and tell me why im still paying to fix the car? i just payed 115 just for them to reset my tire gauge sensor. ive had the car for over a year and they have yet to tell me anything about a maintenance check. just oil check had been done thats all
I had the 2010 model and there was warranty/recall work on the front suspension. Something under there was rusting out on some modes and they replaced some suspension parts. I really don't remember. I thought I took a photo of the paperwork on that, I'll look it up and post if I can find it. I might add that I traded this vehicle in on a new Tacoma. I only had 62K miles on it but had purchased an extended warranty up to 100K miles from the dealer. I think it was around $1800 for that, of which I did get a refund.
good video I have a RAV4 like yours. someone get in there and stole de ECM module of engine, the light of the imobilizer and the AC controller. I a new imobilizer and the key aggregation and the keys transmiter but the programation was not successful. the technician told me that I must to buy the lights of imobilizer. I have one question: what is important of this intermittent lights ? this light of imobilizer and AC controller was stolen. I need your point of view
Ferreira Sales Sorry for the long delay, but I just got this today. Says you sent it months ago. I have no idea about the lights, but the key immobilizer reads the ignition and allows the vehicle to crank. Hope you got it fixes by now.
Had a question about resetting the air bag light in my email, but it's not showing up on here. I don't have this vehicle anymore but from what I have seen and researched, you may need an OBDI tool to do this. But I would suggest taking it to a qualified mechanic as the air bag system can be complicated and you do not want to mess it up. Now what I do know, is if you have any weight in the passenger seat, it will trigger the airbag light and give you a seatbelt warning if the passenger belt is not buckled. So check and see if that is you problem. Remove any articles from the passenger seat that could trigger the the switch. If that works, then you know that was all it was. If that is not the problem, you might want to take it to a mechanic. There are videos on here about the airbag lights. Just Google it and they will pop up. Hope this helps and sorry, but I don't have the vehicle anymore to get into any more specifics on it.
After having watched a few with key ignition start which did not work, this really helped. Great video.
I've had my car for 5yrs and I'm just finally figuring this out! Thank you!!

I'm glad you were able to figure it out because that's ridiculous to charge that much!
