The oficial soundtrack of: "Your mount doesn't answer your call within the Maw"
I'm a druid. Can't relate.
I'm a Worgen. Can't relate.
the theme of being intensely annoyed
This sounds like Hell allright.
You're in the Hell...of World of Warcraft!
@@PerfectSuperCell of the world
these trumpets at start are really making it the place you dont want to be in
Grant Kirkhope has ALWAYS been amazing at making "final dungeon" music, like "Cauldron Keep" from Banjo Tooie.
Love this music! One of my new favorites.
My favorite composer combined with one of my favorite games! Grant Kirkhope you are legendary please never stop making music.
Thanks for the upload. Amazing music.
Much as I hated this zone I always loved the music
Same!
I wanted music like this for the Icecrown Glacier zone, and years before that; Burning Steppes and Searing Gorge. The hopeless Mordor-style mixed with Imperial themes from The Empire Strike Back is perfect for dark places such as these. This soundtrack is perfect.
1:48 chills
1:50 when i hear this ... its like jailer gonna attack
2013: "Let's remove players' ability to fly in endgame zones."
2020: "Let's remove players' ability to mount in endgame zones."
2027: "Let's remove players' ability to run in endgame zones."
This game is unfortunately going in the wrong direction. We should be able to use mounts in the Maw, that zone is hard enough and it won’t be much easier even if we could mount there. So I hope they allow mounts in the future.
@@Wowmusicable You can mount now, just get the Corridor Crepper.
With 9.1 you can use all the mounts there but still can't fly.
@@sylvinus98hun I think Flying should be left out of the Maw. Seems apparently(who knows) that Maw dailies will become irreverent in 9.1. But the new zone dailies will take over, and depending on the size, I’d be ok with flying there. Idk. Everyone hates The Maw
hell yeah
Wow, hiring Grant Kirkhope for Shadowlands definitely seemed like a good idea.
13:40 when u die in left 4 dead
That sounds fresh comparing to "usual" WoW's music. Thanks for upload!
usual wow music is awesome bruv
If by fresh you mean dogshit, then yeah, it is dogshit and doesn't have the soul of WoW.
Sounds like the endgame for sure
Endgame yes, but this is actually the first zone players arrive to when entering Shadowlands.
This is basically Septicflesh orchestral tracks. AMAZING.
the instant i hit 5/5, the big bad trumpets start going ham
Getting the old Mummy movie vibe
Yes! It really does
The maw looks very good
Stravinsky Vibes, just like Cataclysm soundtrack. Love it!
Absolutely. I can hear it in my head right now: “I am the Globgloglabgalab, the schwabble dabble glibble glabble schwibble schwabble schwab”
Pre-Patch: Sweet! We're going to Azeroth Hell!
Patch 9.0.5: ...I'm in hell...
Random NPC: "It's a shame my time has come, but I lived a good and virtuous life. I can't wait to see what the afterlife has in store for me! Wait, why do I hear trumpets?"
Maw walker: 😬
The trumpet version of Icecrown...cool
Weirdly, nothing made me feel as alive in this game as PVP in the maw. I'd get up early in the morning and start playing, go out looking for bosses and sometimes fighting other players for the kill, so isolated that it was usually 1v1 encounters with the boss between us attacking both. Great times, even though everyone else hated the maw haha
THE BEST SHADOWLANDS MUSIC
"Make ready! Feed the souls of the unworthy to the hungry Maw"
0:00 Oppressive Atmosphere
Doom is in the air 😌
1:47 >>> gimme mmmore
1:00 - Lol no matter how many times I hear this in the Maw, I keep thinking of Godzilla.
1998
This soundtrack has always been weirdly funny to me, probably because of all the bad things about the Maw. Hearing those blaring trumpets in the background as if they're proud of this abomination of a zone they've created is hilarious.
Am I the only one who gets imperial march vibes from this?
You are definitely not alone, noticed that on day one of Shadowlands. Epic.
Kinda feels like I'm hearing music out of a Godzilla/kaiju movie.
Like burning crusade musics
I was hoping theyd have some melody nods to the frozen throne, alluding to the origins aspect.
The Maw is the origin to the Frozen Throne, not the other way around

Tarragrue come's
Does anybody else hear the truck backing up?
I have a feeling we’re gonna be hearing this alot....
I ended up turning game music off for WOD and Legion at some point, because it wasn't as good as BFA.
@@hubeargreat7212 bfa has one of the worst expansion music in my personal opinion, i don't care for most of it
@@edelleaa Nope.
@@edelleaa if there's only one thing that we can't complain at is the soundtrack of the game. Even if the expansion is shit, the music is awesome
@@HeitorDeMarchi yeah i ain't complaining, i love wow music, have playlists, listen to it just for pure enjoyment, but again in MY opinion bfa wasn't as good as other expansions but that's just based on personal taste
Kinda sounds like Sauron's theme

Another example of amazing music in Shadowlands, too bad the systems were so frustrating to deal with. Seems like a trend in Shadowlands; good music, bad everything else.
The Maw, slow and tedious, but really epic and atmospheric music.
Covenants; terrible system but great sanctum and campaign music, especially Night Fae.
Sanctum of Domination; probably the worst raid tier of all time, with probably the best boss music of all time.
Really restrictive leveling with low replayability, but great music during the campaigns and zones, even flightpaths.
Torghast, tedious weekly chore with some amazing ambient music.
Zovaal, boring and one-dimensional villain, but with an epic theme.
Sounds like a toned down version of the music on Argus. From the picture it looks like red Argus.
What happend to ambient music in wow....all we get is this frantic chaotic mash even in boralis the main city is fucking loud big orchestra. Go back and listen to the wotlk music and learn! Learn from dalaran music, a nice ambient memorable music that relaxes you and you can listen to all day.
And when im on the subject l, just take wotlk music as an example. Its FULL of atmosphere and ambiance - perfect for creating long lasting memories. This is what wow needs now more than ever. The game has just become a fun fare slotmachine hectic race around the world every day .
Well, te maw its the wow's hell, so its no place for relaxing.
Damn, overreacting as it's finest
Literally 95% of SL's zone music is ambient asf...
What are you on about?
Icecrown was exactly in this posture.Stop blaming something on inadequate reasons.
Horrible, completely out of place music for such a desolate place as the Maw is supposed to be. WTF are all those bombastic brasses?
Well...
It IS Warcraft's Hell. So, like...
i dont think its horrible per se and i don't really like the beginning at all, definitely expected a more ambient, creepy and eerie vibe instead of... trumpets or whatever it is
@@edelleaa I suggest to listen to Icecrown.
