@@Vluxuation Absinthe Studio is making 1/4 scale of Azur Lane characters with very similar amount of detail and quality compared to TriEagle's Nikke line-up. Those only cost around 400 to 500 dollars at most, full payment on pre-order. This Privaty statue by TES is very obviously overpriced by at least 100$. Her base has nothing to do with her character and just looks random and does not align with her source material. You and everyone who pre-orders her are being price-gouged by the studio. Sorry to tell you, but you're wrong.

I've been playing Nikke since the beta got into figure collecting a year ago and said I would buy Nikke figures as soon as they came out, R.I.P wallet can't wait to get Scarlet next year though lol The Privaty Maid is probably the best looking one so far!
Glad you mentioned Alter's recent shortcomings. They definitely are not what they used to be, and I have had more QC issues with their recent releases than not.
While i haven't been buying that many figures from them this past year, i definitely have noticed the decline in quality solely from feedback of other collectors and user pictures online alone

I'm not even a big fan of Melusine but her figure looks so god damn good. My only concern is in fact, that she is 1/6, while all my other Fate figure are 1/7 scale. Gotta wait and think, even it's she's way too cheap to ignore.
The Shorekeeper figure did show up on Amiami a while ago, but it might've been buried under other Wuthering Waves merch. Amiami sometimes does that stupid thing where they "group" listings as being related and only show one thing on the front page while the "related" items in the group are suppressed; the only way to see them is to either explicitly search for them or catch them in that "related items" section on the item that's shown on the front page. That said, can't remember if that happened with the Shorekeeper figure.

There is no New FGO figure announcements for weeks now ( nothing new except the already announced ones like this Melusine ), I think since FGO JP gets closer to its final story chapter, they make less and less figures ( especially the figma Line is already dying sadly ). Most manufacturers on the other hand makes more and more Azur Lane figures ( which I dont collect thankfully, already have space problems with 160-170 figures on the shelves ). I think the current trend is Nikke and Blue Archive, while the next wave of popular titles being made into figures are probably Zenless Zone Zero and possibly Wuthering Waves. My guess is as good as yours. Azur Lane is going to go on for quite a while. With fate series when FGO is dead enough they will definitely come up with a new game or title lol. Type Moon is an entire universe itself like Marvel or DC. It is here to stay. Just that up and down swings to the popularity of a long running franchise is totally normal.

Regarding that Atago figure; is there a difference in quality between a 1/4 GK figure vs the same in 1/6? That one definitely has me interested but in the smaller scale, and as long as there's no real detail loss
Usually they use the same exact 3D model and just rescale the size. So it should be the same, theoretically. The rest is up to their manufacturing methods (be it 3D printing or recasting) that determines whether they will be able to maintain the detail level in a smaller scale.

The gk figures I cover in my weekly news are all completed and painted figures just like the pvc figures we buy from Japan. That Privaty figure is hands down the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen. The detail is absolutely insane and I expected it to be way more.
