Hi George, nice series on lights! I make all my lights non- directional , so they stay on regardless of travel. This looks much better, especially when switching , as the headlights don't go on and off. CHeers Gregg.
This is one of the many reasons we do these. Thank you for watching! We appreciate it! And if you ever have troubles or need assistance, do not be afraid to ask us! email support@soundtraxx.com or call and we will be happy to help! Thank you! ~GB
So wish your decoders were DC programmable. Just picked up a dozen Athearn units, my five AC4400s with sound are awesome on DC. So smooth, and even my tunnel motors. But getting something like QSI did would be super helpful.
Well, you can operate on DC, but admittedly it is very limited. And the qsi was a trademarked or something that we did not pursue making one, or making it compatible with theirs. But let me introduce you to Blunami! The Blunami will deliver the full complement of features of DCC without the expense of DCC. You only have to upgrade to Blunami decoders. Then download the free app to your smart device and then you are running trains as we should in 2025! All of the settings can be adjusted in the app, and your operations are in the app as well! You get the best product for a DC user! I'd encourage you to take a look and see what all the fuss is about! Contact us if you need any further assistance on this at support@soundtraxx.com Thank you for watching!! ~GB
@SoundtraxxDCC George, thank you for the reply, I really appreciate it, no joke. I do not want Blunami or anything remotely close, the thought of wi-fi and a cell phone makes me want to ask Alexander Graham Bell to come back from the dead and crush every cellular device known to humans. Been folliwing you for several years now, am very familiar with Blunami. Definitely not asking for patent infringement either, was using QSI as an example only. But having speed matched power on DC straight-out-of-the-box should not be that difficult, my early McCloud River first run does. The AC4400s with my new T2 does. Maybe if I tell you that literally the last two months have also been an exercise in grabbing as much Buzzsaw emblem cars (especially T&P) will hopefully sway you in the direction of giving me Fisher-Price dc adjustability at some point. All the best, and do not put those nice-looking MoPac GP38-2s on the ground!
Great, thanks!
You're welcome!

CHeers Gregg.
It's all about your own preferences!
Great video, George. All you need now is Conductor Kevin in that Mopac bay window caboose barking out orders to the engineer.
Haha, will work on that!
I'm so thankful to have the most user friendly decoder on the market in my locomotives! Thanks Soundtraxx and Merry Christmas!!!
Thank you for the feedback, we are glad that you are enjoying our decoders!
These videos are so helpful for someone like myself who is just beginning to use DCC and learn ops. Thank you!
