I caught an NS 278 that stalled out on Copper Ridge a year ago. Something with one of the engines wasn't quite right and it couldn't make Copeland Crossing.
If y’all are ever back in East Tennessee, I would check out the Knoxville District Bristol Line. There’s a lot of cool spots in and around there. I recommend the Bristol Train Station, Chuckey Depot in Jonesborough, TN, and the Bulls Gap interlocking. The old Clinchfield RR also crosses the line in Johnson City, TN with an overpass which makes for a decent shot.
I think something has to be done with the railroads. Too much of the infrastructure has been torn up abandoned or let to go into disrepair. It is of national interest to keep them working

I think Northfork Southern has one of my favorite paint schemes, classic in black and white
Agreed! And the best railroad-sounding name of any Class I left today.

Glad to see this one back. As an autistic male, i love the Autism plus sign whenever Gabe swears lmao
Wwwhhhoo luv from Los Angeles
Dang, that empty grain rain was hauling ass. Had to plus 60. No crossing gates, I bet those people in that area know to to slow before crossing.
Where's Laurel Tennessee I tried looking it up on Google maps and it didn't show any railroad tracks
Laurel maybe the name of a railroad place rather than a geographic place on a map.
Laurel Rd (Clinton, Tn) you can spot the tracks following along side.
