It’s amazing how rapidly they demonstrate why these two fell for each other. Dr. Mrs. offered him a constructive critique of his whole persona and the Monarch not only took it well he was openly praising her ideas and admitting that he never even considered them. The Monarch is impressed and excited by Dr. Mrs.’s intelligence, creativity, and (adorably) the support she’s offering his ideas. Dr. Mrs. Is finally interacting with someone who treats her like and equal in a potential partnership while encouraging her to use her full range of tech and managerial skills. Like two seconds after they hook up they’re both talking passionately about their hopes for the super villain life. It’s kinda touching.
The fact that they talk about the Henchmen as if they where kids and when they where fighting and 24 asked "are you guys gonna get a divorce?" Proves they are basically just 1 big family.
They did so in the yard sale episode too. “Oh my God, why’d we bring the henchmen? We’ll be the only ones there with henchmen!” And then they gave them an allowance (which they blew on something stupid, as children do) and instruction when to meet them back at the car.
That moment when he's says "you'd really do that for" always gets me. It just makes me think that things must have been hard for him growing up without his parents and that not many people wanted to help him
"The one I told you about, with the STARING..." Number 9 is usually the Monarch himself, but he had 24 here take his place this night so he could pick up Dr. Girlfriend. Evidently, the Monarch, as Number 9, did a lot of staring at her. It's quite funny.
The funnier thing was that if Shadowman 3 hadn't grabbed him, he would have confessed to being 9, and 24 who was in wearing the 9 suit would have become Monarch's 2.

It’s like, the ONE thing Malcolm has nailed down as his theme. Everything else is kinda generic really. It helps that Limb also has phantom brain cells.
It's easy to assume that Phantom Limb was smart enough to get that "Past Ginger who dates Dr Girlfriend with big eyebrows is the same as the Monarch, a ginger who dates Dr Girlfriend with big eyebrows." Except, during his Revenge Society trip, he hunts down and kills the Manotaur. Granted that was during the Revenge Society trip, he was a few limbs short of a set then.
He didn't forget. He simply knew that stating his real name would cause him to get killed, and he didn't have the setup to prevent it. So he called himself manotaur... Luckily Phantom Limb was just stupid
@@TheLichruler and at that time only saw him as a small fry which ment he didn't need to put a lot of effort to remember about the guy who screwed him over
He glanced at the window that previously had the word Monarch written on it (backwards?).. saw that it was busted out and Phantom Limb would have to take his word for it.. and tossed Manotaur over the cliff.
Yeah, IIRC the DCAU did something similar. I think it's probably because dot eyes are easier to draw but having a striking eye colour is usually something associated with feminine attractiveness. It's kind of a pet peeve for me, but it's also one of those things that you don't really notice unless you're looking.
theguywhoannoysme thats because he IS Henchman 24, after The Monarch became a full-time supervillain, "Shadow Man 24" jumped from Phantom Limb to work for The Monarch and Dr. Girlfriend instead, where he retained his rank as #24 when more-often-than-not co-serving as Monarchs' Go-To guy alongside Henchman 21.
+Brent catherman After watching Faking Miracles it's confirmed he's still got a full head of hair. Strange that the first time we've seen the Monarch without his cowl since his 20s and it's not a big deal. I suppose the revelation of who his father was is a bigger distraction.
breacat If the Blue Morpho really is his father! Ever notice how Monarch and Dr. Venture look so much alike? And how much of a ladies man the original Dr. Venture was? Seriously if it's not revealed the 2 are half brothers I'm gonna be nettled.
I wouldn't be shocked by that twist since the Monarch doesn't have any resemblance to the Blue Morpho so he most likely resembles his mother who we got barely a glimpse of in an old picture, but she looks very slender.
Only now do I remember the episode when the Monarch hired a prostitute, called himself the might minotaur and sent her into a murder maze to escape the cocoon.
Somehow I imagine there's some convoluted story wherein Monarch had to get that tattoo in order to better complete the illusion that he was indeed the Manotaur in some subsequent encounter with Phantom Limb.

HASEnoncorperated giving more detail like that makes women characters look better, or better yet, more “realistic”
I think its to make female characters seem more attractive than if both gender characters jad coulored irises
In Anime the effect is used to denote innocence. Adults always tiny beady eyes.
This is how you write super villains in love 😍

I cracked up reading the captions where Phantom Limb called The Monarch Naruto. 🤣🤣🤣
