Watching Andy Anderson skate, or elucidate on his method, u-turns any down day I'm having. I know he's human, but he always appears to radiate joy and wonder. Thanks
He makes that look easy, maybe we needed more wax. We missed around on the snake run at newberg skate park, but no darks though. Good job wearing your helmet, that's rad!
@@porterde08Skating or owning the unique board designs of the skaters that influenced you to skate is only lame to lane people. Why anyone thinks this makes you less of a fan of skating is simply hating mindset. Even to go around telling people not to support other skaters on their own videos is keyboard warrior mentality because if you did it at a place where he was advertising his products that should slap you and escort you off the scene
Wish this clip wasn’t filmed with an iPhone for the part. Love NKA so much and grew up watching him. Makes it feel like a UA-cam edit rather than a proper skate edit sometimes with the iPhone footy in Powell stuff these days.
Andy has like 3 different darkslides IN THIS VIDEO PART ALONE that could qualify for the title of this video. 4 if you count the one that got cut because of the Ricky Glaser thing.
the tricks were insane but some of the filming was questionable. next part needs to not be filmed on an iphone.

Filming was on point in my opinion. Nobody else has the extent of experience filming andy as Nigel does, he knows what works and doesnt and he takes chances. Everyone has their own ways and things they do with their methods of filming, i dont see a single clip thats "questionable" myself 🤷♂️ if its good enough for Andy to look at and say "yes im happy with it. I am confident in putting that in my part", if its good enough for him its plenty good enough for me. Nigel takes chances and risks and films in all kinds of unique ways, using his phone to get footage provides a certain aspect that cannot be captured with other dedicated cameras.
you must not watch a lot of skate videos. the video quality is objectively bad between clips. it's not innovative to use an iphone to film a part. it's laziness because he didn't want to carry a camera which is what he said himself. constructive criticism can be a very good thing, and they might actually make changes in the future, but going around and defending things that are bad encourages it. there's more to a part than tricks. instagram is for tricks. a video part is an art project and that includes the filming/editing.
andy's market isn't skateboarders. he seems to be penetrating bougie artspaces. It's interesting seeing someone push the boundaries of what skating is and can be, and I respect it, but yea corny in general but especially the marketing waves and viral campaigns. I wonder if the idea came naturally or if maybe he looked at people like Hawk, Mullen, Dyrdek or other successful personalities who managed to escape skateboarding
I understand the novelty but there's something dis ingenuine about it. its a weird collectible to brag about.. but then again i skated in '06 so maybe im outdated. But if it works, keep doing it yall. Full support here
Andy is the kind of person we all need in our lives. We all need an Andy to show us how to play again.
Andy and his tricks are getting way more and more mind melting! Sick dude!
Yea that yoga mat….
I love seeing him perpetually wear a helmet
"I LOVE HELMETS!" He said for the rest of his days.
I do too! TBI is no joke
I'm pretty sure he is pulling a ratatouille on us

Andy is the the Rodney of this generation
I've said this before and I'll say it again, Andy is a THPS Create-a-Skater. He has it all
I thought that was Elissa Steamer
Best analogy I’ve ever heard. 😎
He literally Cosplays My Generation and Culture and How We Grew Up
CREEPY AS F V C K !
@@Ritff666l-e9e Vegetarian Vampire aka Cosplay Copycat aka Elissa Steamer
He represents the board brand he rides history so well.
His balance is insane and just keeps getting better!
Dude at 1:00 when he explains how he pumps the rail, he puts it in a context that I've never thought about before and my mind is kinda blown right now
I love that this is being done.
So crazy to watch that darkslide, it's like watching physics bend its rules, but only for Andy
Skateboarding is like magic to me and Andy is the wizard king
I hope that everyone has an amazing and memorable summer this year and safe travels and skateboarding throughout the years. 🍀♾️❤️🔥

I own 2 Andy decks . One for the wall and one for the street🤘
And he has two balls, both apparently nestled in your mouth
Instead of owning Andy decks. Why aren’t you out there trying to make your own. Weird flex. But you do you.

Cuz they’re basically ALL UA-camrs 😂

board control god
Rodney Mullen is impressed by Andy. Unreal...
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
yes, this is unquestionably the craziest darkslide ever. mike patterson and wes kremer darkslides used to be the craziest until this.
❤
its not the snake rail anymore its the andy rail
I feel like Andy Anderson I’d the Rodney Mullen of our generation
Thats so nasty everytime I rewatch this it blows my mind

After all this experimenting, when Andy turns 30 he's only gonna skate 8" popsicle decks, calling it now🤣

What a shame this video was filmed on a phone
Would you have even known if they didn’t say it?
@@Sabbathbloodysabbath666 Absolutely. Footage looked awful. I'm also an old head though and care about good filming and editing.
