Being a Midlands lad I only got to see Thames during school holidays at my sister's house in London. It was always good to return to "ATV Land" though where the oresentation was much more slick and so much more fun ! We had TISWAS for years before it eventually got networked. Our continuity announcers were Mike Prince, Peter Tomlinson and sometimes Chris Tarrant 😃😃😃

I have absolutely NO memory of this program! I guess we mostly watched children's BBC when I was a kid. Didn't like Tiswas or Magpie (at the time). Tiswas always seemed a bit "rough". A bit "council estate". I was a goody-goody watching Blue Peter, I guess 😂 Don't blame me, I was about 7 yrs old 😉
