Production can get boring if you’re not into an artist coming out with a production design that was hard to find prior. I recommend dipping the toes into the custom world, or midtech. When the pool doesn’t feel right, I move, but refuse to get completely out of the pool in my personal experience. Don’t let it become boring or less fun- just other rooms to go exploring in imho. Just my two cents. Reddit, Instagram, Facebook - in that order is what I tend to gravitate to when things get boring, and I can find STEALS from a friend who isn’t trying to make an arm and a leg, but wants to move something for a fair price. My two cents. Production gets slowwwww once you fully catch up and get a good idea as to what’s out there but there is no one man that could do the same with all the custom makers that deserve attention and are responsible for what happens later in production (years later ). It’s like looking into the future lens of what’s to come and the near future is exciting in my personal journey. And I don’t disagree with you. If you’re on IG, you can add me and I’ll accept all knife people into my life lol. Happy hunting and journeys ! I’m @jonduncan.316 on IG if you enjoy surfing the gram!
Absolutely. I still watch tons of knife videos though, which makes me even less interested. The upcoming BBB/Spyderco collab is basically all I've been interested in for the last couple years.
Relatively simple, but still recognizable design. The Gerber Harsey Air Ranger was my first one hand opening folding knife and is still one of my favorites. I wish Gerber would make a higher end version of it.
Hmm, Eager for the review. I remember when lone wolf knives produced some harsey models (and then were bought by benchmade?) I never could afford them until after they were no longer available.
If a knife has lock stick (when the lock takes a lot of force and gets stuck when engaged) sharpie can help eliminate or reduce it if applied to the lock face or blade tang
ty for the disassemble :D But Personaly, i dont pay so much for a knive whos lock will not last so long as an Chris reeve, becouse the Spartan has no Stell insert or Ceramic ball-- this is definitive a Dealbreaker-- so much money, and they dont put a steel insert in????? The Titanium will rubb of with the time when u use it Daily- so not realy last longing like CRK-- that is realy dissapointing Nice looks but i will use my Folders and not only look at them
This company is less than an hour away from my house. I always wanted to check out one of their higher end knives just for that reason. This video convinced me not to lol Thanks Nick
First knife review I’ve watched in a while. Feels like a bit of nostalgia… anyone else having a bit of knife fatigue?
100%. The market has been very boring of late.

@@jonduncansakurawallknifegarden added👌🏻 great advice. I’ve definitely been up and down the knife piece spectrum. Just getting bored

I've been carrying mine for a couple of months and I love it.
Nice look at the Harsey. It is a nice looking blade!
The level of refinement doesn’t justify the Chris Reeve price tag. Thanks for the review Nick.

I recently picked one up. Can't wait to see the reviews
Would you say the Sebenza 31 is better designed than this? Any opinions on the best designed frame lock knife?

Explain what sharpie is used for. I don’t understand it’s purpose.

To prevent the lockbar from sticking to the blade

🤙🏻👊🏻💪🏻🇺🇲
seems overpriced with that Sharpie fix, for that money they should be able to properly engineer a non lock sticking knife.
