I am 80 and when doctors find out that I take no medication, instead of asking me how I stay alive without meds, they look at me like it is an oversight that needs to be corrected. I am of the opinion that I am doing fine.

im a 67 year old vegan (20yrs vegan veggie at 16 years old) same problem with my old doctors - who i rarely saw due to being healthy - first thing blood test (must be missing things) total surprise when everything is great, then and that’s when i changed to my new doc , flu vacs as i got older as i must need them and a healthy biom and immune system and natural solutions couldn’t be enough - yep i always a problem that needed to be fixed - luckily my new doctor is much of my mind ( i see him approx once per year for a ‘check up ) haven’t even taken as much as an antibiotic for longer than i can remember ❤
I'd literally "bet the farm" that those exact physicians themselves are on more than one ongoing dose of something (and convinced it's needed). When I was a very young person the doctors I knew would say meds are just to get you out of a low point (not for survival). I remember meeting people as a youth who were elderly and "never been to the doctors office" for more than dealing with the outcome of an injury etc.
Unfortunately quarter acre blocks are hard to find,let alone afford A lot of people rent,live in flats and work multiple jobs and don't have time to grow their own food The government seem obsessed with carbon neutral bs and want to do away with meat and dairy, replacing it with vegan ultraprocessed rubbish. @TheContrarianThinker

We stopped buying ultra-processed foods years ago, stopped eating things with seed oils, and stopped eating out. I grow a huge garden every year and we have chickens that provide us free-range eggs. We save a lot of money and, I believe, are much healthier than we would be if we had continued on as we were.
We are in the process on a croft but, being part of a crofting community, can also function in more of a collective way. We have not yet completed our house, which is 'off-grid' energy wise, but intend to be almost independent re: food within ten years - everything seems to take much longer in Highland time. A friend of mine returned from Himalayan mountaineering expedition, on having drank from what he thought was a sparkling stream that came straight from a glacier above He returned to the UK and went straight to the doctor for a test, and was diagnosed with dysentery. He gave him a bunch of super-strong antibiotics. He threw the antibiotics away, and now that he had the diagnosis went straight to a Traditional Chinese Acupuncturist, figuring that the Chinese had been dealing with dysentery for at least 5,000 years, and by the next morning, had recovered completely. He back to the doc for another test, and was pronounced clear. "Those antibiotics sure worked quickly", the doctor said. He told him he'd never taken them, and had gone to a Chinese acupuncturist instead. Far from being pleased or curious, he was absolutely furious. He shouted at him that he was irresponsible, and practically threw him out of his office. That to me sums up doctors: their belief systems are as rigid as cold steel.
That's because acupuncture is utter psuedoscience bullshit that could've killed your friend. Frankly I'm skeptical that you even had a friend in such a situation. Dysentery doesn't just magically disappear in 12-24 hours.
I once suffered persistent pain in my shoulders, and issues with my hearing. I went to Ortho specialist, EN&T specialist, and of course my PCP. none of them had a solution. After seeing the documentary “Root Cause”, I saw a Biological dentist, I had severe Cavitations in my jaw from a botched wisdom teeth extraction that showed up on the cone beam X-rays, and had them surgically treated, bone grafts etc. When I told my PCP about it and how I was cured of the chronic condition, he said he was completely unaware of any such condition or surgery, but was curious to learn more about it. The point is everyone is a specialist in what they know, but equally ignorant in what they do not know, therefore one must assume responsibility for their own health, and be their own specialist, their own authority.
I've read numerous reports regarding: US med docs' average lifespan is dropping at an Alarming rate - now at age 56 (as my memory serves me). They were mis- and mal-trained, in the opinion of many. I don't take drugs. I am finally healing slowly by keeping carbs low, no sugar, eating whole foods and making sure I am getting enough electrolytes, B1 & B complex, sunshine, vit. d3 & k2 in winter. I consult with a nutritionally based doctor ever couple of months.
We need more gardens, private and community, to grow our own organic food in every available green space. We should not depend on large corporations to provide our food. Big mistake when profits are the motivation.

I'm worried about my 35 year old son who is a U.S. Marine Corp vet. He has a poor diet since he moved away. Out to eat all the time, pizza, Top Raman, prepackaged, and overly processed foods, and loves bread. A few years back he suffered a PTSD mental break down, and they put him on God only know what meds. He has gained at least 100 extra pounds, and was recently diagnosed with a thyroid problem. The VA insisted that he get his shot in 2020 as well. I pray that Trump is elected, and that RFK can get to work on creating a much healthier environment to live in.

@natalierichter2637 when I was a kid and live in a neighborhood we had a neighbor who turned their yard into a garden and I was in awe but the rest of the neighbors where not so happy. They are ways. Recycle containers to put on your kitchen counter...it may be ugly but there are lots of ideas out there for no or small yards.

I have to tell you a Kennedy story that makes me really happy RFK Jr is taking these positions particularly on food. My father was the president of the Dairy Farmers of America in the mid 1950s and spent a lot of time lobbying in Washington DC. Even back then the US Department of Agriculture supported the economic interests of the food industry over those of farmers. My father met with many elected politicians among them Senators Jack Kennedy and Lyndon Baines Johnson as well as Symington of Missouri and Proxmire of Wisconsin. I remember my dad discussing his meeting with Jack Kennedy and how he noticed that Kennedy was clearly bored by his presentation and realised that Kennedy was very much a city boy (as was my dad before he decided to become a farmer in the late thirties) and that he was wasting his time. The other Senators were from farm states and were on board with my father’s cause-particularly Proxmire because Wisconsin is the leading dairy state in the US. SO IT IS SO GREAT TO HEAR JFK’s NEPHEW FULLY SUPPORTING FOOD REFORM.
I live in a poor rural area in the US. I’m slim because I eat mostly keto and I exercise for an hour every day, and I’m in the minority. Most people here are obese-even the children. Their diet is mostly ultraprocessed garbage. Sugary drinks and sodas take up a lot of space in my town’s little grocery store. The captured FDA is killing us.
Most of the grocery store shelves around here sre manufactured products. Fortunately my area also has food coops. They provide food organically grown at local farms. RFK's goal is achievable although not easy. Small-scale farmers competing with agribusiness....

I have great respect for these two heralds of health, Dr. Campbell and RKJ. As a pediatrician from the interior of Brazil, I usually don't need to use antibiotics in small patients where the childcare work ("puericulture", medical term even without proper translation in English) is well done. And yet, I realize that this kind of work is underappreciated, because I deal with generations accustomed to a lot of medical intervention and a lot of medication use.

I live in Tampa Florida and every day new medical facilities are open . You see a lot of junk fast food everywhere and a lot of doctor offices . Everything in the city is mostly fast food restaurants and medical centers
Here in the UK I drive around Addenbrookes Hospital Cambridge which is now one massive medical campus. A new children's hospital being built as I type. Driving around it you soon see "sickness is business". Rather than focus on root causes they just want to keep developing treatments to mask symptoms and give you more conditions.

Its bad here in Australia too. Avoid the middle aisles of the supermarket. Avoid all edibles that have more than 4 ingredients. If any ingredient is sugar ir carbohydrate avoid that too. Eat plenty fatty meat and eggs. Add veggies if you wish. I think also at the time of JF Kennedy, all schools had rigorous PE standards. Look at the old videos, none of those kids were overweight. I was born in the 70s in Uk and PE was way more competitive and involved so much gym equipment, cold days of running outside etc and more time devoted to it too. Plus not to mention home economics in middle school ..we all had our own stove etc.

I clearly recall the ‘cross country’ days at my school (mid eighties uk) weather, for example, simply was not pandered to - torrential rain? you’re out there running, golf ball size hail? you’re out there running, broken limb? you’re out there running 😂. There were no ‘safe spaces’ unless extreme bullying. We had to problem solve for ourselves, in the main, hence the majority built character. Minorities where treated as just that, by which I mean whatever issue it was that put them in this category would be individually sorted / dealt with NOT the entirety of the pupils being made to desist from ie clapping in assembly because ONE pupil ‘didn’t like it’. We have a whole generation now that spend all their time now seemingly determined to be victims, get special treatment. Then they go into the adult world and are unable to cope, the dawning realisation that they are not in fact ‘special’ at all. I am 80 and when doctors find out that I take no medication, instead of asking me how I stay alive without meds, they look at me like it is an oversight that needs to be corrected. I am of the opinion that I am doing fine.

im a 67 year old vegan (20yrs vegan veggie at 16 years old) same problem with my old doctors - who i rarely saw due to being healthy - first thing blood test (must be missing things) total surprise when everything is great, then and that’s when i changed to my new doc , flu vacs as i got older as i must need them and a healthy biom and immune system and natural solutions couldn’t be enough - yep i always a problem that needed to be fixed - luckily my new doctor is much of my mind ( i see him approx once per year for a ‘check up ) haven’t even taken as much as an antibiotic for longer than i can remember ❤

I'd literally "bet the farm" that those exact physicians themselves are on more than one ongoing dose of something (and convinced it's needed).
When I was a very young person the doctors I knew would say meds are just to get you out of a low point (not for survival).
I remember meeting people as a youth who were elderly and "never been to the doctors office" for more than dealing with the outcome of an injury etc.
I'm 63 and I remember my parents stating that the best way to stay healthy was good, fresh food. I think it was a great philosophy.

We stopped buying ultra-processed foods years ago, stopped eating things with seed oils, and stopped eating out. I grow a huge garden every year and we have chickens that provide us free-range eggs. A friend of mine returned from Himalayan mountaineering expedition, on having drank from what he thought was a sparkling stream that came straight from a glacier above
He returned to the UK and went straight to the doctor for a test, and was diagnosed with dysentery. He gave him a bunch of super-strong antibiotics. He threw the antibiotics away, and now that he had the diagnosis went straight to a Traditional Chinese Acupuncturist, figuring that the Chinese had been dealing with dysentery for at least 5,000 years, and by the next morning, had recovered completely.
He back to the doc for another test, and was pronounced clear. "Those antibiotics sure worked quickly", the doctor said. He told him he'd never taken them, and had gone to a Chinese acupuncturist instead. Far from being pleased or curious, he was absolutely furious. He shouted at him that he was irresponsible, and practically threw him out of his office.
That to me sums up doctors: their belief systems are as rigid as cold steel.
That's because acupuncture is utter psuedoscience bullshit that could've killed your friend. Frankly I'm skeptical that you even had a friend in such a situation. Dysentery doesn't just magically disappear in 12-24 hours.

I once suffered persistent pain in my shoulders, and issues with my hearing. I went to Ortho specialist, EN&T specialist, and of course my PCP. none of them had a solution. After seeing the documentary “Root Cause”, I saw a Biological dentist, I had severe Cavitations in my jaw from a botched wisdom teeth extraction that showed up on the cone beam X-rays, and had them surgically treated, bone grafts etc. When I told my PCP about it and how I was cured of the chronic condition, he said he was completely unaware of any such condition or surgery, but was curious to learn more about it. The point is everyone is a specialist in what they know, but equally ignorant in what they do not know, therefore one must assume responsibility for their own health, and be their own specialist, their own authority.
I've read numerous reports regarding: US med docs' average lifespan is dropping at an Alarming rate - now at age 56 (as my memory serves me).
They were mis- and mal-trained, in the opinion of many. Following their own training indoctrination SHOWS us something is not right. This is SPECIFIC to USA, as far as I've learned.

It cost $125 a year, excluding the cost of plants and seeds. We grow most plants from seed in our garden, around thirty varieties of vegetable and twenty varieties of fruit. There is no doubt that almost everything produced in the allotment tastes better, we have a varied and healthy diet with virtually no added sugar and chemicals, we eat less meat because the vegetables can be used to produce tasty meals using recipes from the Middle East and Asia; the benefits to our health are tangible.
However, availability of allotments currently exceeds demand in many parts of the country because most of the population are under intense time pressure and have to make hard choices between time at work, with their families and relaxation which is also important for mental health. In the summer months young mothers, who want to do the best for their chidren's health, will be working on their allotment at 6AM or 8PM because it is the only time of day that they have available. Even a minor disturbance to their routine, such as illness in the family is often sufficient to force them to give up.
It is illegal to sell fruit and vegetables produced on an allotment, we donate 85% of what we grow to friends and family.

I'm worried about my 35 year old son who is a U.S. Marine Corp vet.
He has a poor diet since he moved away. Out to eat all the time, pizza, Top Raman, prepackaged, and overly processed foods, and loves bread. A few years back he suffered a PTSD mental break down, and they put him on God only know what meds. He has gained at least 100 extra pounds, and was recently diagnosed with a thyroid problem. The VA insisted that he get his shot in 2020 as well. I pray that Trump is elected, and that RFK can get to work on creating a much healthier environment to live in.

Recycle containers to put on your kitchen counter...it may be ugly but there are lots of ideas out there for no or small yards.

I have to tell you a Kennedy story that makes me really happy RFK Jr is taking these positions particularly on food. My father was the president of the Dairy Farmers of America in the mid 1950s and spent a lot of time lobbying in Washington DC. Even back then the US Department of Agriculture supported the economic interests of the food industry over those of farmers. My father met with many elected politicians among them Senators Jack Kennedy and Lyndon Baines Johnson as well as Symington of Missouri and Proxmire of Wisconsin. I remember my dad discussing his meeting with Jack Kennedy and how he noticed that Kennedy was clearly bored by his presentation and realised that Kennedy was very much a city boy (as was my dad before he decided to become a farmer in the late thirties) and that he was wasting his time. The other Senators were from farm states and were on board with my father’s cause-particularly Proxmire because Wisconsin is the leading dairy state in the US. SO IT IS SO GREAT TO HEAR JFK’s NEPHEW FULLY SUPPORTING FOOD REFORM.
I live in a poor rural area in the US. I’m slim because I eat mostly keto and I exercise for an hour every day, and I’m in the minority. Most people here are obese-even the children. Their diet is mostly ultraprocessed garbage. Sugary drinks and sodas take up a lot of space in my town’s little grocery store. The captured FDA is killing us.
Most of the grocery store shelves around here sre manufactured products. Fortunately my area also has food coops. They provide food organically grown at local farms. RFK's goal is achievable although not easy. Small-scale farmers competing with agribusiness....

Here in the UK I drive around Addenbrookes Hospital Cambridge which is now one massive medical campus. A new children's hospital being built as I type. Driving around it you soon see "sickness is business". Rather than focus on root causes they just want to keep developing treatments to mask symptoms and give you more conditions.

We need to go back to buying meat at the local butcher’s, fruit and veg from the fruit and veg shop, and bread from the bakery. We have become lazy! There are also some good farmers markets.
Its bad here in Australia too. Avoid the middle aisles of the supermarket. Avoid all edibles that have more than 4 ingredients. If any ingredient is sugar ir carbohydrate avoid that too. Eat plenty fatty meat and eggs. Add veggies if you wish. And here's a suggestion for kids lunches - hard boiled eggs when they arrive at school - lamb chops for lunch - well salted and as much water as they want to drink. Thats it. Very simple.

I think also at the time of JF Kennedy, all schools had rigorous PE standards. Look at the old videos, none of those kids were overweight. I was born in the 70s in Uk and PE was way more competitive and involved so much gym equipment, cold days of running outside etc and more time devoted to it too. Plus not to mention home economics in middle school ..we all had our own stove etc.

I clearly recall the ‘cross country’ days at my school (mid eighties uk) weather, for example, simply was not pandered to - torrential rain? you’re out there running, golf ball size hail? you’re out there running, broken limb? you’re out there running 😂. There were no ‘safe spaces’ unless extreme bullying. We had to problem solve for ourselves, in the main, hence the majority built character. Minorities where treated as just that, by which I mean whatever issue it was that put them in this category would be individually sorted / dealt with NOT the entirety of the pupils being made to desist from ie clapping in assembly because ONE pupil ‘didn’t like it’. I was a lily white ginger kid so Ye got some grief 😂 but that eventually made me stronger, able to defend myself from hurty words.
