Great! For the past few years, my tutorials have translated captions. Click the "CC" icon the bottom, right of the video and then click your language for its translation. The translations aren't perfect, but much of it is still understandable.

Thanks, as always, Marty! How you figure this stuff out is beyond me. And I always love how you set us up...this time with the splatter brushes. One note of caution: as you whip through the blending modes understand that with each blending mode change you're using up a History state. So be sure that you don't jneed to go back to make changes should a state be out of reach..
Smart Filters can be changed or adjusted at any time and are not reliant on history states.

This video is the closest I've done to that style.

when I try to use the threshold, the option shows unavailable. When I do it without turning on smart object, then threshold option is available.
I have the same problem . I make double click over the smart object and it open, so you can visualize two thumbnails, select one and make the threshold

For me it does not always work perfectly. I'm using CC 17.1 I get down to the part where I drag three color lines up and attempt to place in group 2 and it make a new layer. I never get any kind of facial out line just a back on white with lots of beautiful colorful spatters on top.

Can anyone tell me why my layer mask (6.40 of video) does not allow me to copy the selected smart image to the mask attached to the folder? it will place above or below but not to the layer mask. using the latest photoshop CC 2021
As long as the subject ("Background copy") is inside the folder and the folder is active, clicking the Layer Mask icon should place a layer mask next to the folder.

Oh my. I’ve been immersed in this all day.....but the hard way :(
I’m making an autograph book using Disney characters for my daughters make a wish trip in 3 weeks. I found a lot of images I could use as is....but some less popular characters (like Bert from MARY poppies or the cast from Pinocchio) aren’t done and I’ve looked....and looked. And looked. The closet I’ve found is a little app that’s doing a pop artsy edit....I wish I could do this. Hell I don’t even own editing software. I am using picmonkey. :(

I have the latest photoshop cc21. everything goes to plan until I try to copy to layer mask on the group file, it will only copy to the file. is there a change since this video?

I love your photoshop tutorials. I'm trying to manipulate a photo to make it cubist. Would you know or have anything that would be of assistance?
The task is far too complex to create a tutorial showing how to do it. Before even starting, it would require photos of multiple angles of the same subject.
Is it possible that there is not enough color area in the original photo to make the splatter colors work? I'm creating one with a photo of nephews and the younger one is bald so you can't see him that well. Is that where the Threshold comes in? If i make the Threshold too dark, you can't see the whites of the eyes. Any advice? Thanks! Great tutorial!! ;O)
