Ive watched almost all the double exposure videos on UA-cam and this is the best one. Thanks for NO BACKGROUND MUSIC AND EXPLAINING IN A LANGUAGE I UNDERSTAND! Ilearned a lot and made a great photo. Great job🖒
I have watched quite a few tutorials. Most seem not to understand that playing music and not talking through the tutorial is not a good way to teach. Others, talk, but talk fast and move from one action to another that make it hard to see what they just did. A few, talk slow enough to follow, but always seem to assume that the viewers know more than they do. I was very impressed with this tutorial and would suggest that perhaps you can make a tutorial on how to make tutorials for all the other PS experts who don't know how to teach as well as you do?? Kudos!
I dont know why I did I generic search for this without coming to you first. Your tutorials are always the easiest, most concise, and you actually talk where others just have text on the screen.
Great Video. Thank you for going step by step. Not everyone who watches these videos know all the steps in PS and you did a great job in showing these steps.
Thank U so much for such great useful tutorials U R posTng 4 us.... I t`s the first time I am using PHOTOSHOP and I didn`t even know about it before, but ur step by step acts R taking me to the great world of PHOTOSHOP(DOUBLE EXPOSURE)
This one definitely ranks among my top ten favorites from Blue Lightning....very effective, dramatic and simple to do. Keep up the great work and thank you!
I'm new to Photoshop and loving it. I've watched loads of youtube videos on different aspects of Photoshop and this is one of the best I've seen. Explains everything really well and though I'm a novice I feel I could follow this and duplicate the effect. The pace of the tutorial is perfect. Superb, thanks so much.
Is it possible to put one half of a face in shade (vertical) on a black background, but so the features on the shaded side are still just about visible? Pretty much like The Beatles 'With The Beatles' album cover (that ages me! I've tried to use the Gradient but not looking right. Hope you can help! Thank you. @@BLTV_Photoshop
The photos I used cannot be publicly distributed because they're licensed by Shutterstock. The tutorial is meant to show you how to create a double-exposure with your own photos.
+ItsBrookesWorld If you search google images for the image you want (example 'woodland' or 'trees') then press search tools, go to the fith option along and change it to 'Labled for reuse with modifications'. You can find transparent images by changing the colour setting to 'Transparent' or 'White'
just a quick request, I normally pick subjects who take images in a bed room or out doors, basically the background has loads of colours and some of them 'leak' in to subject and selects half there skin, do you have any tutorials for this problem? Also infrared photography in photoshop would be good, tried to use a infrared image i edited before i did this but my subjects skin colour kills the infrared effect
The color "leak" from a background onto a subject can be greatly reduced. After you create a selection around your subject, go to Select > Refine Edge. At the bottom of the Refine Edge panel, under "Output", check "Decontaminate Color" and increase the amount to approximately 60 -70.
Selecting the "high contrast blue filter" does not do anything at all. According to the vid tut, at 2:45, layer image changes to darker version. Nothing happens when select it. Thoughts, direction? Also, shortcut Q does not work for Quick Mask. Using Photoshop CC.
I'm sure there's a simple explanation why the filter and the quick mask aren't functioning, but one would have to inspect your document to determine the source(s).
