After you put in mods you may as well play a different game… which people usually do after installing their mods, since installing mods and testing their stability took too long and their ADHD took them to another game, lol.

Also, I think I prefer the slightly blander take of fallout 4, in new vegas and their newer game I always felt like they didn't take things far enough. Choices were basically still 2D with no real consequences other than you're not our friend anymore. The story in general is just as contrived in new Vegas as it is in fallout 4. Sorry for the rant, I guess my tl:dr is that new vegas is at best 1 point higher in my rating then fallout 4. If new vegas is an 8, fallout 4 is still a 7. And that's only if I were to concede that new Vegas is better and put fallout 4 below new Vegas. They land about even, having beaten them both a couple times each
