Lou Costabile it's not about being for someone specifically, obviously there isn't even enough man hours that went into this thing to justify that price tag plain and simple
one tire fire . fan is way too loud and dont know why it is not thermostatically controlled instead of being on all the time . being an old school V8 why isn't the fuel pump mechanical on the engine . should be LS based small-block fuel injected with limited slip trans axle lastly 130,000 come on not worth a penny of that I could see maybe 50k and even then pushing it .
Chris Stephens so you dumbasses think 160 large is too much to spend making something that smokes tires and pulls some freaky g's and is show quality? go back to your basement then, and while you yell at your mom to bring you a coke and your fat ass takes another gulp of the easy chair as you reach for the remote
Lou, this thing is made cheaply . antiquated carbureted V8 700r4 trans and an open differential . carbon series autometer gauges the cheapest they make . everything on this thing is off the shelf the bottom shelf that is . what is killing this industry is things like this cheaply made , cheaply sourced materials and assembled as simply as it can be done and asking the price of a quality made supercar . just insanity
Hi Moises Beltran, Ok, so I'm clear, you're not on the purchase list, however thank you for adding another selling feature of the fastest lawn mower on the planet, because if your have $130K, you have a big lawn :-) Lou
it is absolutely too much for what is here, they need to bring the cost inline with reality. its a 350 automatic with a mustang irs, looks like a streetrod but only fits one.
Moises Beltran, those are the words that I was looking for it's really cool for long distance riding but not everyday usage and about that 130k erase the 1. it's definitely a cool start lawnmower cycle, great for country living mid 20s price range all the country boys I'll buy one and he'll still make his with revenue
Lou Costabile you're butt hurt, and if you spent your time commenting on negative you'll never appreciate positivity. You have a great machine, but that's his opinion and he's right it looks like a cool ass lawnmower
Hi Lou. Wow!...... you have got the cojones alright!...... I don't know if I could do what you done. Thankyou Lou, I see you in a different light now. That was some super amazing powerful beast and you rode it!......Well done Lou, you are the 'man'.
Michael Dunn or the main noise could be the whining coming from his butt as he tries to ride/drive that awkward, uncomfortable-looking design exercise.
The Bourget quad sold for about that price and that was years ago. This quad is lower and meaner and it just looks really exotic. I love this hot rod and I do not see a problem with that price.
I'm somewhat worried about whom you want to market this bike too. Your "average" Arnold Schwartzanager's of the world can definitely afford it, but face it. Folk like that will only buy "one", and realistically, ride it 3 maybe 4 times max. Then, unfortunately, they'll park it in their garage where it will basically "sit" forever. And that's a real shame if you think about it. Whereas: "Regular" blue collar folk (providing they could afford it) would ride it everyday! Thus giving this awesome ride the exposure it truly deserves. And will ultimately make the Brimstone Quad a house-hold name. The choice is basically yours.... You could sell "one" bike and have it sit in a garage forever where no one sees it, or, you could sell 100 (at a much lower cost) and get your name out there in public EVERYWHERE! I can guarantee you, in three years (at a cost of about 35k ea.), You WILL be the 21st. centuries version of the Henry Ford of motorcycles. So what's more important too you? "Hide your name" in a rich man's garage where no one has ever heard of you, and go down in history as a mere "foot note" an "oddity"? Or, TAKE THE BIKER'S WORLD BY STORM..... and "FLOOD" the American roads with the name "BRIMSTONE"!!! *Food for thought* If Harley-Davidson priced their very first bikes at "10 times" the amount of other bikes on the market back in the day. They would have gone out of business in the "blink of an eye". But they didn't do that. They made them affordable for the working class! And look at them today.... The most successful Motorcycle Company on Earth. I'm not telling you how to run your company, but you need to market your product to the "masses", and NOT the "few". Respectfully, H's C.

I've learned my lesson the hard way, sorry about that, Lou
Very nice...but that loud fan has to go....my ears would ring for a week after driving this thing a little while. I like the exhaust sound...but c'mon that fan whining is too loud...I built a custom roadster and my fans (twin) are very quiet.....or is that noise the fan? I hope you had fun building it! It's a very cool ride! Regarding the 130K price tag...being real the only way I think you will get that much is if you gold-plate everything, install a chromed computerized fuel injection intake and paint the front cover black again, and likely you will still only get maybe 50K. I am not being disrespectful because I know you put a lot of work/engineering into this thing...like I did mine (took four years to build). The problem with selling a "one of a kind" vehicle for that much money is the people who have that much money only want to "invest" in something that many other car-guys want...like an original Cobra that's been sitting in someones garage for the last um-teen years with only 20 miles on the odometer lol. Yes you have countless hours and yes it turns heads but when the ass hits the asphalt you won't get 130K for it when I could go build one for 20K in materials and a hell of a lot of hours....but those hours are free...because you weren't paid for all the hours...and can't expect to get paid for all of them. The trick to get that much for a custom built is to be hired by someone to build one...then you will see more cash. Heck, if any large manufacturing company wanted to make these they could pump them out for around 35-45K. But this is just my .02. We builders are a different breed than the regular car guys....they "invest" in a well known vehicle..."custom" scares them away. So in order to sell yours for 130K you would have to sell it to someone who is rich and fell in love with it and "has to have it" because of the "cool" factor. But I hope you sell it for 130K!!!!!
Great suspension, front and rear, love the air intake, great drive train all around. I'm a little iffy on the styling but it really opens up the imagination. Personally, I'd like to see it lengthen just a bit and made into a two seater with traditional steering, but that's me. Maybe a kinda Lotus Super Seven look. And those naked rear wheels scare me. Don't take any long haired girls on it. But i really admire all the hard work and craftsmanship put into it.

Cool ass ride. Sharp as a razor with a cutting edge stance. Looks like a it could be a wild ride with an aggressive right hand. I have had thoughts of building a street legal quad. Will see what happens. As far as all the comments saying you should do this or that bla bla bla. Maybe they should build one , if they have the motivation, skill, facility & finance to do it. Too many couch mechanics watching to much t.v. Give the man some credit, he built a ride that most would not know where to begin. 👍👍

OMG I LOVE IT! lol Oh I'm building a racing mower right now - It was awesome you said that haha! My buddy has one - briggs and stratton opposed twin 22hp turned into a stroker and has about 5 grand into it - it has been on the dyno and to the wheel hits close to 70hp! Can't wait to see more crazy rides like the Brimestone!
Damn nice, Awesome lines. Your quite an artist that also happens to be very clever with a wrench. Good job, lots of luck. I know you can offer with optional rear fenders. Classic two tone colors.
Lou Costabile Aye your welcome, thank you for your dedication. I'll go with cycle on this one. The month of May is very big motorcycle rallies. Second week of May thousands and thousands of bad ass Harleys storm in. Then memorial day black bike fest. Thousands and thousands of super fast bikes are here. Both bike festivals are incredible. All kinds of awesome machines. Could be an intresting place to show and promote your art. I'm going to guess you already know of these gatherings. Your are welcome in Myrtle Beach.
I just want to know how the steering works I know he said it had cross steering but all the cross steering videos I've seen had wheels so how does him pushing the levers turn the wheels exactly

Hello, this message is directly for Lou Costabile , my name is paul demeester and I am very interested in knowing where this car is located I would somehow like to acquire this vehicle to add to my collection. Can you give me any information to get in touch with the owner? Thanks.
I didn't go through all the comments, but what process did you go through to get title and legalize? Or is this a case by case thing in the USA? including state by state, and or VIN site by site?
couple of comments they might seem harsh but its just honesty, the camera should not have a lens that makes a fishbowl in that type of shoot as it adds a motion sickness to the video and distorts details on the bike. The bike itself is an interesting thought however its no longer a bike it is a quad or an open top small car (which is probably how insurance will see it) as for the price, be realistic you guys have some touch up work to do (clean up the welds etc... for smooth polish finish) and need to add some bells and whistles (think comfort and utility) if you want to be in that price bracket as there is big competition in that bracket so either step up the quality to fit or drop the price bracket by a fair bit.
Hi Malus Draco, No issue with your comment. The challenge is not with the camera, it's UA-cam when loading a video asking, "Would you like to stabilize the video?" DO NOT hit yes. Lesson learned. Thank you for viewing and sharing your thoughts. Hope you see many more cars on the Channel that you'll enjoy, like this one I just loaded, Lou ua-cam.com/video/mOQdWfF29NY/v-deo.html

Very nice quality design. Made in USA! Although if I own one I will put a crotch rocket Japanese engine that revs 14,000 rpm. I'm not too sure on the lawnmower steering. Will it behave safely during high speed and panic scenario? Will I be able to react safely if the vehicle skid or whatever in time of danger and emergency? Can I register? Consider a car or A bike? Realistically, the price should be around $35,000 to $40,000 turnkey . $15,000 if kit and build it yourself (no engine). Engine of your choice. What do you think?
HI zzzzzsleeping, Glad you enjoyed the design. As the rider, you need to (as in any car / bike) get used to riding it regarding the safety aspect. It becomes a personal level of comfort. You have wonderful ideas. Thank you for viewing, sharing, and adding to the story, Lou
Needs to be narrower and shorter, using a turbo inline 3, a smaller and lighter transmission for the application, a smaller and lighter diff for the application, and just smaller and lighter in general. This thing shouldn't weigh more than 1200-1300 pounds, and it should make in the neighborhood of 200HP-300HP

This is what happens when you've got lots of money to burn!! Innovation! That's why I write software.. because it doesn't cost money to make a program. But I can design you anything in CAD 3D design and make it virtually work!
Cool bike/super car for sure but I would swap the filters for something custom same with valve covers and I would also go with a carbon fiber shortram pipes oh... And mudflaps... just cuz I drive rig so... yeah... mudflaps

You also need to tell the viewers who or what insurance company is willing to insure this vehicle. I'm guessing driver license is car driver license not motorcycle since it is four-wheeled and powered by car engine.
Sadly, the state of Maine will not allow one of these to be registered for the street. Personally, I really wish Maine would allow a quad to be registered as a street motorcycle. Give me an AWD model with good snow tires, and I would seriously condider selling my truck XD

Hi HarisNoor, Glad you like this one :-) Me too, Lou
For $130k the last thing it should ever have is a carb'd motor. Thats ridiculous. It should be LS fuel injected base minimum.

Lou Costabile it's not about being for someone specifically, obviously there isn't even enough man hours that went into this thing to justify that price tag plain and simple

little disappointed to see that one wheel peel at the end too. should have definitely had a limited slip.

loud and annoying fuel pump but god damn that thing is bad ass. id put a wider rear tire setup myself. how much do these cost?
130K
I think the main noise is the cooling fan, not the fuel pump. :)
Michael Dunn or the main noise could be the whining coming from his butt as he tries to ride/drive that awkward, uncomfortable-looking design exercise.

Hi Mate, Sorry about that, the problem is UA-cam that asks the question after you load a video, "would you like to stabilize and improve your video?", so you click yes and think this is a good thing, and well unfortunately you see the result. I've learned my lesson the hard way, sorry about that, Lou
the right person to ride this "rêve" is...Joe Skoenecki.SO NICE!
Good call :-)
Hi Coherant bliss, Glad you enjoyed this one and felt it's a very cool ride :-)Thank you for viewing and sharing your suggestions, Lou
Hi Anthony, Happy to read the details you notice. Thank you for viewing and sharing, Lou
P E R F E C T ..................

Hi Matthew g, Clearly this one is not for you :-( Hope you see many more cars on this UA-cam Channel you'll enjoy :-) Lou
lovely quad! a must have for the collection! Do they make custom windshields for these, a lot of bugs in NC?
Hi Byron Pink, Glad you think this one is lovely! No current custom windshield, however if your going to be the new Owner, I'm sure Joe can engineer something for you. Lou
👍👍

Brilliant to see you're still in business; great looking site too. I'm looking forward to the trike if it's anywhere near as good looking as this machine.

Beautiful, and unique.
Really with an eye for proportion.
One might need a second car for picking up the kids.
Hi Karlton Rod, Yes, a 2nd car for the kids is a good idea :-) Hope you see many more cars on the Channel you'll enjoy. Thank you for viewing and sharing, Lou

Gotta do something about that fuel pump whine, and install a limited slip. Otherwise, it’s way better engineered than I initially expected!
Thank you for viewing and sharing.
What an awesome vehicle. What's the curb weight?
Glad you like the Brimstone. Not sure on the curb weight, Lou
1800 lbs
Sincerely,
Joe Skonecki
That's a badass Racing Mower!!!!! 212mph at 6200 RPM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Nicolas Brown, So does that mean you like it, or you don't like it? Lou
Hi Nicholas, "opposed twin 22 hp" sounds fun :-) Hope you see many more cars on the Channel you'll enjoy, Lou
Damn nice, Awesome lines. Your quite an artist that also happens to be very clever with a wrench. Good job, lots of luck. I know you can offer with optional rear fenders. Classic two tone colors.
Hi the 10thleper, Glad you like this one :-) Thank you for the kind words. Hope you see many more cars on the Channel you'll enjoy, Lou
Your are welcome in Myrtle Beach.
si lou costabile solo que la moto merece mas enfoque, no se si me explico. pero GRASIAS POR RESPONDER.
Hi Oscar Daniel Alatorre Ocegueda, Glad your enjoying the Channel, Lou
I just want to know how the steering works I know he said it had cross steering but all the cross steering videos I've seen had wheels so how does him pushing the levers turn the wheels exactly
There is a driving section on the 2nd half of the video showing that.
It looks like a fun ride! Nice job on the design!
Hi Alejandro Ramirez, Glad you enjoy the design :-) Thank you for viewing and sharing. Hope you see many more cars on the Channel you'll enjoy, Lou
nice :D the steering bars like star wars is wow O.O

That camera was giving me motion sickness. Sweet quad bike and thanks for sharing.
Hi DragonRoLo, Sorry about that, the problem is UA-cam that asks the question after you load a video, "would you like to stabilize and improve your video?", so you click yes and think this is a good thing, and well unfortunately you see the result. I've learned my lesson the hard way, sorry about that. Glad you like the Brimstone :-) Lou
Hello, this message is directly for Lou Costabile , my name is paul demeester and I am very interested in knowing where this car is located I would somehow like to acquire this vehicle to add to my collection. Can you give me any information to get in touch with the owner? Thanks.
Hello Paul, I'll have to see if he still has it. Please send an e-mail to trupowr@yahoo.com
God I love the Americans. Well done brother I hope you sell a 1000 of these bad boys.
A wonderful comment. Really made me smile, I hope Joe sells a bunch of them too! Lou
In the last shot it shows the Brimstone spinning away and only one back wheel is spinning, doesn't that mean it needs a torque converter or LSD?
Both wheels spin :-)
Not trying to be an A-HOLE but that's allot for a supped up green machine. But very nice!
Hi Bruhkulls Chop, Yeah, it's a pricy one being a one off. Glad you enjoy this one, Lou
I didn't go through all the comments, but what process did you go through to get title and legalize? Or is this a case by case thing in the USA? including state by state, and or VIN site by site?
Hi Scott Weinberg, I think it might be a state by state thing, however not really sure, Lou
@@loucostabile seems like a story in itself.
couple of comments they might seem harsh but its just honesty, the camera should not have a lens that makes a fishbowl in that type of shoot as it adds a motion sickness to the video and distorts details on the bike.
Hope you see many more cars on the Channel that you'll enjoy, like this one I just loaded, Lou ua-cam.com/video/mOQdWfF29NY/v-deo.html
i am brazilian, gostaria muito de ter mais detalhes do chassi e do sistema de direção de sua quadriciclo!!! muito lindo o modelo, parabéns.

After hearing that engine, I can't consider it to be a quadracycle, but a very nice sounding V8 on wheels.

Love it!! Looks cool but...
Don't like the fan noise or the closer connect on the hood... seems cheap.
Glad you "love it!!" Trails Of The Smokies :-) Thank you for viewing and sharing your thoughts, Lou
How do you get so many dents on the back side of the radiator?
Hmmm, not sure.

Hi Jus Fadezz, Glad you enjoyed the uniqueness of the vehicle. Thank you for viewing and sharing, Lou
This is what happens when you've got lots of money to burn!! Innovation! That's why I write software.. because it doesn't cost money to make a program. But I can design you anything in CAD 3D design and make it virtually work!
Hi Anthony, Thank you for sharing and commenting regarding your skill sets too. Pretty cool, Lou
Cool bike/super car for sure but I would swap the filters for something custom same with valve covers and I would also go with a carbon fiber shortram pipes oh... And mudflaps... just cuz I drive rig so... yeah... mudflaps
Hi Patrick Salyards, Thank you for viewing and sharing your thoughts on how to improve the Brimstone. Hope you see many more cars on the Channel you'll enjoy, Lou

Fine, do you have any vehicles running with electric means EV
Hi kmurali krishna, Here's 2 for you, enjoy, Lou ua-cam.com/video/9yJKKv-sPA4/v-deo.html & ua-cam.com/video/EF1pX-8wlmg/v-deo.html
You also need to tell the viewers who or what insurance company is willing to insure this vehicle. I'm guessing driver license is car driver license not motorcycle since it is four-wheeled and powered by car engine.
We'll let the Buyer know all those details.
Mean little machine you look good sitting on that Lou
A fun one for sure :-)
Sadly, the state of Maine will not allow one of these to be registered for the street. Personally, I really wish Maine would allow a quad to be registered as a street motorcycle. Give me an AWD model with good snow tires, and I would seriously condider selling my truck XD
