Wow that toilet sure is wedged in there. You should find a plumber who can convert that to a wall mounted toilet for future work. Saves a lot of floor space.

Or expenses set aside, the vanity could be a single sink and mirror, to allow the toilet to be shared on the same wall as the vanity.
Since water access would be available to convert.. but then you gotta deal with moving that dreadful toilet drain across to the other side of the subfloor 😭

Thanks for making and producing these videos. You do fantastic work. It’s always great to see true craftsmen at their trade. Could you go a little more in depth on your plumbing work for your renovations?

Dang I thought I was the only one to think of sliding the trim in later. If I don't do it that way I'll just loosely hang it from a screw so I can pull it out to where i need it as I work up. I like the diamond blade you were using to cut the circle for the shower valve. Where is it from?

Do you ever have a problem with getting tile flat with no lippage when doing a 50% offset with 12 x 24 tile?

I'm a DIYer currently remodeling two bathrooms, learning a lot from your videos. Beautiful work, but I don't understand how you installed the Schluter trim after the wall tiles were set. The wedges were gone when you installed the trim, so it seems the thinset must have been hard. I watched a short video you did years ago demonstrating installing the trim as you tiled which I understood, but on this one where you installed the trim later, how did you keep clearance for the trim flange to fit behind the tiles, and what holds the trim in place? Thanks for the videos!

We leave space behind the tile for the trim and then install with thinset.

very nice work, I have a question, which model of drill do you use for the thinset?

I think it's this one DeWalt DCD800P1 20V Max XR Brushless Cordless 1/2 in. Drill/Driver Kit

Don't you wish Schluter made a trim between the BW and the TSBG?

    FlowFx for the win.

What a waste of kerdiband lol, I usually just cut out squares for all the washers. I get way more out of the roll that way, why spend money?
