Does your wife get mad about your video thumbnails lol
What about the glass door??
Can I hire you bro? I need a someone that’s thorough like you. Also you can use the footage in your channel.
you prolly dont care at all but does someone know of a way to log back into an Instagram account??
I somehow forgot the account password. I would love any tricks you can offer me!
@London Noel Instablaster :)
Just an FYI, when you use silicone to seal up a bath tub it's a good idea to fill the tub with water because the tub will flex when you have it filled but the silicone while it will flex it will also pull itself apart. If you didn't fill the tub this time just cut it out and re seal it.
That’s a great tip, thanks man
@@nonsensenon223 ....Water?
The fact that there’s only a few comments about that thumbnail. 😂😂😂😂😂
I didn’t even notice until I saw this comment 👀
@@jackielowrey3032 how could you notttttt? Then again I'm so thirsty for him and constantly hoping he goes topless in his videos
Homie is gonna run out of things to remodel in his house!
Been thinking that, i see him going into real estate
Nah wives have infinite to-do lists
@@luckeygirl93 so true
He will have to go to his in-laws next. :)
I’ve only watch this and the outdoor grill episode, but if this building is as bad as it is in the grill video he can just keep redoing rooms when they start falling apart or growing mould. I’d just watch the pros on UA-cam that’s all this guy is doing then making videos, but he is missing some little things some not so little skills. In short learn from someone who knows what they are doing not someone who is doing it the first time to make a UA-cam video.
Hand Talkers + auto-focus + small recording spaces = craziness
I love that you keep the parts where you run into problems. Makes me feel better that it’s not just me who always seems to run into problems when renovating. And too many channels make it seem like it’s as easy as eating cake and that you’re the exception if you run into problems.
Irina got a good one. Most guys can't even build a self-assembly table - with all the instructions lol
Pretty generous with the censor bar
Very lol
🤣🤣
Love the sarcasm! That’s why the censor bar 👍🏼
Im dead from the thumbnail🤣
What is it
He wishes it was that big lol
Awesome job Alex! Seriously the feud between you and John Malecki has me cracking up. I love it.
camera has a seizure around 9:30... FOCUS!!! Love all the work you do. Very inspiring.
Pretty cool that you leave in your mistakes. Much more memorable lesson. Cool video
Looks fantastic! If you leave the wedges in the spacer clips when you break them off with your mallet, they break off clean and easy. It also saves you the step of taking each wedge out individually. Keep up the awesome content!
This little ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxVoi3B4CB6Oygq1-vo4OTL1M_M5JkrXif tub works perfect in our 6 x 6 shower and is easy to get in and out. Also easy to drain.
Love the fact you include the challenges you ran into. Looks great!
Your house is beautifully decorated. Thanks I needed this.
Alex, thumbs up for always showing the problems & how you overcome them. Too many shows out there making ppl. think it's all gravy!! Just like pretty much everything else you've done this came out Super Dope!! Hoping all is well, Dirty Jersey out!!!
Interesting that installed tile vertically instead of the usual…horizontal; but, think it adds a unique and different look to the tub/shower combo. Looks nice, congrats on your new bathroom👍🏻👍🏻
Another great remodel and video. Learned a lot, thanks for posting. Always interesting and educational!
I installed the same screen here in the UK and done the same as u painted it Matt black. Look fantastic but I noticed after a while where the screen was opening and closing it would rub and scratch the paint off. What I done to get round it was to actually take the pivoting part off and filed a tiny bit off the frame to give it a tiny little more room to pivot without rubbing. Just something to look out for
Snapping power restored
This is just amazing, love your vids!
I can't wait to purchase my first home to apply all these awesome tips you have!
The thumbnail is everything! 🙌🏻 🤣 Great video! I always enjoy your content!
When going this deep on a shower remodel, I always like to raise the showerhead 10" to 12" up depending on available height. It's especially nice for tall people.
Looks great! Can't wait to see what you tackle next.
Great job! Beautiful choices and work
Answer videos! appreciate you taking us along for the ride.
It looks amazing!! Good job man!
Great video as always! Im going to try something similar for my daughter's bathroom
I like the way that you faced the issue and how you resolve them! this is what make a DIY video!
I don't want to be too negative - I like this channel and your approach to learning etc...
There's a couple of major oversights in this one; the showerhead which is about a foot too low, and the glass that's about a foot and a half too short!
Hope neither creates any issues for you, but I suspect you'll end up making some more changes in here.
Keep up the good work!
I was wondering why he looked like a giant. Everything else is just short 😂
Puts on safety glasses while having safety glasses on hat already ! Love it!! Haha
We learn a ton watching your videos, thanks! Curious if you were able to stay on budget. We're about to remodel ours soon.
Been waiting for this for a while. Lol
I’m a little surprised you didn’t go the same way as the sink tile and take it to the ceiling. That plus hanging the shower curtain near the ceiling looks amazing!
Nice tiles and I love the brass fittings.
Very nice job! Love it !
THIS GUY HAVE A LOT OF ENERGY :) LOVE YOUR VIDEO !!!
Another fantastic project! Man I wish I had your energy
Great sponsor segment, totally funny. This project turned out great
Well done dude.
I love you and john shout each other out in a sarcastic way...we know it's all love
Happy to see manscaped as a sponsor. I’ve been using the 2.0 for over a year now!
Should have added a shower niche!!! Great job though, looks beautiful!
Awesome job. The problem with the plumbing is the exact reason why I haven't taken on our shower project yet. Can you go a little more in detail on how to correct/overcome you fixed it? Thanks and keep it up!
Hey - great video yet again! Pretty sure I have watched every video at this point and they just keep getting better and better. Quick question for you... what camera and audio setup do you use for your videos?
I want a video on how you did that towel wrap cause my husband can’t do it to save his life 😂😂😂
Looks amazing great job
I'm glad you kept the tub. I totally agree.
Definately subbed!!! Thank you for sharing your knowledge man!! Much appreciated!! God bless!
Hi Alex, how do you shower under such a low showerhead? 😂
its the guest bathroom
Pretty disappointing to open everything up like that and not fix that issue.
Lol 😂 yeah this guys funny I’ve only watched a couple of videos so far but he has made big mistakes, ( shits going to fall apart or mould up or its just a bad design, like this shower head. I’m starting to think there is a joke in it, he does some terrible work and acts like he’s knocking it out of the park, is this a secret tribute to tim the tool man 😂
Anyway his making a lot of UA-cam cash making instructional videos of stuff he can’t do.
Shit builder great businessman
@@samj2000 dude is a DIYer he's never claimed to be any sort of pro at anything lmao he states in almost every video that he's learning. Idk why people have such a hard-on for hating on people trying to create something themselves.
"Why would I cook myself food when this chef does it better?" - Y'all, probably 😂
The aesthetic of your house is so amazing
You’re such an inspo! Great work :)
"It's exhausting doing things the right way" is a very true statement
The goat!!! Playing there tomorrow!
If you ever run out of things to remodel I volunteer my home!!!
FINALLY A NEW VIDEO! Still waiting for another podcast!
Hope you’re following the 5 part beginner builds series on UA-cam. Up next for project #2 is this chevron king size bed. Trying to keep to minimal tools for an average person to get into DIY. No table saws were used on Behemoth! Video out next Monday.
Can you make a video of showing a tour of the house from everything you’ve remodeled , before and after ::/
He has already.
OMG AM WAITING FOR THIS FOR LONG TIME SO IS PERFECT THE INSTRUCTIONS THK U I LOVE IT AMAZING JOB 👍 my first time in your page😊
you fixed the snap👍🏽 Cheering you on man, we want you to succeed!
Yo mr build it! Have ever thought of wearing tunnel earring, you could totally rock them man!
Dang I really need to take this project... great vid!
Very nicely done and explained.
your channel always gets me out of sa bad mood. love your content
roofing nail makes sense because that's how vinyl siding is mounted. the nails allow for expansion/contraction and avoiding warping (if properly set) when it heats up in the sun. in this case, probably hot water.
The thumbnail had me in tears😂😂😂
You’re right. It’s one of the most expensive waterproofing membranes out there. I’d like to try it in my next (hallway) bathroom remodel, but decided to go with redgard for my first remodel.
How did that work out ?
1st.. that "hammer" (hammering the glass anchors) bahaha love it!
2nd .. closer look at that cover photo 🤣 happy wife happy life, huh
Quick suggestion L, when working with tile in the tub, in same isle at HD or Lowe's they have liners thst protect your tub for duration of construction. $8 is well spent money VS scratches or damage.
We neeeeeeed more merch from your podcast!! “Cleanliness gets me hard” 😂😂😂😂😂
I like the style and look of just having one pane of glass in the front, but the practicality isn’t great. For one, every time you go to turn the water on you will have to do some gymnastics in order to not get hit by the cold water lol. 2, it will likely spill water outside the shower which is sort of a pain. Still looks awesome though!
Good video. I was getting ideas on how it is done before I quoted someone to do it since it looks like a lot of detail for a naïve plumber like me. I would like to see comments on a new thing I am finding now on most Hotels I am running into (I travel a lot).
The idea is to offer the option to install the water controls on the entry side that way the user can adjust the temperature before getting into the water stream usually in the opposite side. Yes, I know, its a lot of plumbing but, from personal experience, I like this option as well as multiple heads (one on top coming down from the ceiling and another from the wall with a selector to either/both heads).
Nice content, and very professional 👏 👌
I laughed SO HARD when you brought out the classic flat black! That is totally where my head was at! :)
The thumbnail is everything! 🙌🏻 🤣 Great video! I always enjoy your content!
love your vids dude
Omg love beautiful
I had never heard of John Malecki. Now I am subscribed. Thanks!
14:22 love that truck. Great vid too! 💎💎💎
Love a good remodel...only thing I would have added was some silicone around the bottom of the shower screen mount as the seal only runs along the bottom of the glass...learnt that the hard way when I installed my own shower screen
This project turned out very nice. Cirious how you came out with actual cost vs your $1000 budget? Other than that? Awesome project and awesome result.
Nor an easy DIY project. This guy is experienced and even he ran into some problems.
This tumb left me with a fire
Very nice work I liked it
HOLY FOCUS!!
Loved the video
im so happy you haven't posted in like 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!!
Love it
Like this bath !!!
I’m still confused about adding in new drains and attaching them to the tub? Then what? How do you attach them to the other pipes?
wowwwwwww!!!!!! you are a natural.
You are the man bro. Thanks for all info!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gorgeous bathroom! What is your opinion on single component grout that does not require re-sealing?
For you next project you should totally make a stock tank pool!
Looks nice, good work. You may regret not bedding in the tub, if you did, I didn't see it on the video. Some use mortar, some use foam. There is always a chance of squeaks and movement of the tub base when you are showering without it.
Love the bath and tile! Is there only glass on half the bathtub? or Is there a swinging part that closes im not seeing?
I just saw your post, it appears there is a second piece of glass I couldn't see 👍
Why is there only a glass part in the front ? Why not the back
Yeah, I am not sure. Kinda confused by that too!
So you can get in and out as it is a fixed piece.
Alot of European showers are like that
Ive seen that alot no more door just one piece of glass looks cleaner in my opinion
I like the style and look, but the practicality isn’t great. For one, every time you go to turn the water on you will have to do some gymnastics in order to not get hit by the cold water. 2, it will likely spill water outside the shower which is sort of a pain.
Nice editing work. Fast cuts. Voice over with b roll
Awesome job! Are you guys happy with the blue and grey tile together? The color and pattern difference seems risky
Very good, job! The only thing I would have done different is center the tiles in the front and the back of the shower.
