Yes the 80s were the best !! Cruising in my 1968 GTO cranking AC/DC , Def Leppard , Boston , and the list goes on. I would gladly trade all this technology for simpler times when we stayed healthy by getting out and doing things instead of glued to some type of screen. The good part is that I am not addicted to my phone or this laptop. Firewood , lumber , welding and dozens of projects keep me busy. We didnt realize how good we had it back in the 80s. Class of 85 here.

I started watch you all because I had just purchased a Kubota L3800 replacing a old Ford 2000 and came across one you all's video of Mike using his Kubota, been watching ever since. Nice tractors, I'm sure you will enjoy them. Did you show what implements you got with them? I'm also curious to see if the QH15 matches up well with your winch and chipper, I have a QH15 on my tractor as well. Don't forget to check your pto shaft length, a quick hitch adds 4 inches to the 3pt arms. Also if they are still using hair pins to hold the top hook pins on the QH they tend to come out. I lost one of my pins so I replace both pins with bolts. I read someone else had the same problem and put bolts in as well. Ask Kubota to equip the MX with a top and tilt for the 3pt, The hyd. top link makes hooking up with a quick hitch sooooo much easier, and puts box blading on a whole other level.

Mike, love the Kubota line. I have an L3900 3 cyl diesel that smokes, leaks oil and is not real pretty but still strong and work it hard all the time. A suggestion, did not see a grappling bucket. I purchased bolt onto the bucket forks to move pallets of product and works well. My be a temporary to load saw mill for now. Just a thought. Great video for sure. What 😁 Kubota Mothers Day!!

Good move on the bolts. I failed to do that on a building I built years ago & it collapsed under a snow load. At that time it was nails that failed. When rebuilt, I set the boards on top of the posts.
Time to get the Bota's Dirty and Scrape off some New Paint. I think this will be Mike's Dream Tractors To Keep after the Two Years Partnership. Had snow here in Southern Ontario yesterday . Windy and cold . Cloudy 42F day so far . Can't visit mom at the cemetery . Closed today because the isolation thingy . It would be packed with people . Bummer . That new Kubota sure sounds a lot different than the RK . Loved the 80"s . Still listen to the music on the satellite radio .Back then I was in my prime . Not anymore . Hello Morgans, ... a really nice looking line of equipment you have ... I'm not much for the color orange but respect the brand. I would like to suggest the addition of a hydraulic center link for your quick hitch. You have lots of 3 point attachment type equipment and I think you would like the ability to adjust the position of the center hook with hydraulics. I operate an M7040 on a vegetable farm with a quick hitch and just added the hydraulic center link and love it! It brings the entire quick hitch system to the next level for me for ease of adjustment for hitching, operating and unhitching. Love your channel ... thanks!

Happy Mother's Day Melissa. -- Ahhhh, there be tractors here! -- Ann and I said, "It looks like the bucket is a little smaller than the RK 55", might just be the way the camera shows it. -- I was expecting that you would have started tilling the food plot, but a little bit of gravel shoveling is a good thing. -- So it appears that the REAL reason that you got the Kubota is that it matches the color scheme of the Wood-Mizer...nice color coordination Mike. I bet the Kubota bucket is more stout. I opted for the hd bucket on my l4060. Quite a difference, (in cost as well). That bucket on the mx5400 looks like the hd version for that tractor.

Mike, 1/2" carriage bolts not required. A galvanized 3/8 carriage bolt is more than enough for the intended purpose. I built a set of legs for some butcher block work benches. 4X4 legs with 2X4 and 2X6 frame work. After a check with the big box stores, I was going to have to spend close to $135 for carriage bolts, nuts and washers. A check on-line and I found Bolt Depot sold the same items for 30% of the box store price. Buying in bulk will save you big time. I'd like to support the local economy, but I also like to keep what's mine, mine. Check them out. I think you'll be surprised at the pricing and fast delivery.

Gotta agree with Allen Mertes. We used to say there were 2 seasons in Wisconsin, winter and hyway construction, now that work on the roads all year round..

Happy Mother's Day Melissa. -- Ahhhh, there be tractors here! -- Ann and I said, "It looks like the bucket is a little smaller than the RK 55", might just be the way the camera shows it. -- I was expecting that you would have started tilling the food plot, but a little bit of gravel shoveling is a good thing. -- So it appears that the REAL reason that you got the Kubota is that it matches the color scheme of the Wood-Mizer...nice color coordination Mike. Great video, thumbs up.
I bet the Kubota bucket is more stout. I opted for the hd bucket on my l4060. Quite a difference, (in cost as well). That bucket on the mx5400 looks like the hd version for that tractor.

Mike, 1/2" carriage bolts not required. A galvanized 3/8 carriage bolt is more than enough for the intended purpose.
I built a set of legs for some butcher block work benches. 4X4 legs with 2X4 and 2X6 frame work. After a check with the big box stores, I was going to have to spend close to $135 for carriage bolts, nuts and washers. A check on-line and I found Bolt Depot sold the same items for 30% of the box store price. Buying in bulk will save you big time. I'd like to support the local economy, but I also like to keep what's mine, mine.
Check them out. I think you'll be surprised at the pricing and fast delivery.
