Great review of the Joker line of knives. The Ember was the one that really caught my eye. I think I would prefer micarta handles though. They seem to be more durable than wood and more comfortable than G-10. Keep up the good work.
I just got the walnut handle Nordico. Amazing knife but I will def feel bad if I fuck up that beautiful walnut handle. Def recommend. But the sheath imo is off
Oof I really liked the Nesmuk but I dislike the sheath out of the bunch. I really like the square sheath shape on all the others. I like the square ends because they just make your blade less aggressive to carry and less “oh look at me” when others see it, which I think is actually pretty important for a knife your going to be carrying a lot
That was a well thought out and informative review, I appreciated the candid opinions, both positive and constructive. I have a couple Joker knives and will be picking up a Campero today. My experience with the 14C28M has been outstanding, it holds a great edge and is easy enough to keep that way. I am not as familiar with the 695 steel on the Nomad, but the knife intrigues me. I look forward to your long term thoughts.
14c28n is a favorite of mine for budget steels and n695 is very similar. In the field you won't notice a difference. People get snobby fast on steel when the design of the knife is usually more important. I do notice a difference between these steels and 8cr13mov/AUS8. But again it just means a little more sharpening and usually isn't a big deal. ✌️
N695 stainless steel holds it's edge way longer than 14c28n, however it's nowhere near as tough as 14c28n is! On the downside, N695 takes longer to sharpen and it's edge can chip way easier, than the edge on the 14c28n, (which will probably never chip because it's softer and a lot tougher!) If you got the scandi edge version, then you'r lucky it comes with that steel on it. There are not to many steels, that can work with a scandi edge because scandi edges are very fragile (easy to take damage even with normal use, their edges take chips or rolls) Sandvik steels, like yours, 12c27, AEB-L and ballbearing steel like 52100, are some of the best, if not THE best steels for a scnadi edge knife. Enjoy!!
I’m really into Joker right now. I have four and they’re all amazing. Have the Bushlord, Ember, Nessmuk and the Nomad 6.5. Incredible value. Love the sheaths.
I want to try the Joker nomad 6.5, I've tried to see if they would send it for a review but no avail :(. one day but I got a list of others to check out first
Mate this is such a great video I’ve watched it four or five times over several months I am having a hard time choosing between the Ember the nortico or the Puukko
I usually try to find some cons to go along with the pros.. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxnkYCgssg4ZO858cyBdD1JPEaUJ9Up1C_ but it really is a good knife. The blade sits centered in the handle when closed (photo added). It opens effortlessly. Unlocks and closes easily with one hand. It’s a great size for EDC. I wish this exact knife came in one of the premium steels to satisfy the knife snob in me.. but it’s a great tool at a great price as it is. Would buy again.
DAVE: Love your [Vancouver Island] outdoorsman's review of these Joker knives. I subscribed and look forward to more of your down-to-earth thoughts about stuff like this.
Picked up a little Nieto folder in an old fashioned hardware store and have been fond of Spanish knives since. I've stuck with small knives so far and they are all outstanding, Joker do a great bit of carbon steel. I've been thinking on something a little bit bigger since. Some nice blades there.
Thanx for the review! Joker knives are very high on my shopping list for new knives! Cheers from a fellow outdoirs man and knife enthusiast, youtuber from a village of Fiskars, Finland
I wish I can own some of these models Joker knives, the price are some affordable and the design as well, not easy to find in Thailand market. Thanks for review, great information ❤
Great video. Love the selection of knives. Good honest review. Definitely going to get at least one for my collection. Nessmuk is unique, would be a nice EDC belt knife.
Great review. I watched this a few times today as was deciding which of these, and my first Joker, I would pick to buy for myself. I just ordered an exact Nessmuk like you have with the stag handle! Always listen you your wife btw 😅
Now I need a Campero too! It looks amazing amd knowing Joker quality, it must be amazing. I am glad I am not the only one that love Joker knives so I do not feel guilty that I have 8 of them already:))
jon from HeavySet Tactical i do knife reviews and i love this vid man i jsut went on you solidified my wanting to try the joker line i went online ordered the nomad and the campero!
I own the Ember and I agree about the grind angle. It's a little steep, reducing the cutting power. I like the knife but I do think it would make the knife a little more performant at tasks such as feather sticking.
You can buy 3 Joker knives for the price of most high end knives. I'm blown away by their quality control, their handles are so nice 👌. I really like the Ember scandi with curly birch handles, that and the Nordic are beautiful blades.
So, I’m thinking the Nomad and Ember or Nomad and Nesmuk will be all I need after the Lionsteel T5??? Yeah, I’m late to the party and I have had some knives in the past, but I’m really just starting this knife life adventure and I started with folding knives, Manix 2XL, Gail Bradley 2, para 2, super freak, blue and grey Griptillian, 940-2, bugout, Contego, Blur… and a couple of others thrown in for fun!!! But I’m just looking at the fixed blade selection and it’s huge and super exciting to start!!! I’ve had my Buck 119 and other starter knives like that since a kid, but I was astonished to see how many are now available and the quality for dollars… compared to folders, I think it’s ridiculous the prices they’re charging for some folders, price gouging. B😢hey, market reflects what people are willing to pay… they, the makers know it’s a bull market for them now with so many people entering the hobby. Anyway, Thanx for sharing… I just noticed the Nomad the other day when I did a fixed blade knife search on eBay. Nice knife compared with Kabar Beckers cuz you don’t need to buy aftermarket Micarta scales. Lionsteel T5, Joker Nomad & Ember or Nomad & Nesmuck, and I’m also thinking Esee 5 & 6 The 5 for the beast it is and the 6 for the flat grind all around…
I have all of those except for the Campero. I do however have a scandi Trampero which I would reccomend as well. Basically a modern Kephart design. If you havent already, check out the Avispa. Makes a nice little edc necker.
Great looking bunch of knives, I didn't realize Joker is produced in Spain. After looking at their website I'm now having a more difficult time making a desision. They have an extremely large knife selection not just for a woodsman.
The Ember F in full flat grind is their best knife. Next is the Nomad (more edge retention, however edge may take small chips) Ember in full lfat grind, may not have the longest edge retention, however it's still very decent on that department and doesn't lack anything else! In Europe. at that price range, only Manly knives, make better blades, but their handles are thiner, which is better for food prep and general utility, but bad for working on wood.
Hmm I don’t know what your talking about. They’re selection is actually quite small, only about 12 styles. But they offer several variants of blade steels, handles, and grinds for each type which is nice. Now there’s companies like cold steel or spyderco that literally has thousands of different blades with different variants. So yes, I would consider this a vastly small selection for a blade company
Yes sir, very nice looking knives - especially the Nessmuk. Great price range as well, but there are two drawbacks for me - the button snaps on the sheath and stainless steel. I still like the option for carbon steel. Great review as always.
Nice review. Joker knifes are amazing, I think they seem. I have been searching for the Trampero but with scandi. But it is not available for a year where I live. Nordico is very mice I think but I like smaller finger guard. Or no fingerguard. And no ricasso similar Trampero, surely feel more nordic. But I would like bigger palm swell. Btw, my finest knifes I own are made in Spain.
Wow. Never heard of this brand before this review. Looks like they all are great value in the age of companies trying to sell indestructible cpm 3v tanks for knives at $400+
There are PLENTY of 3V knives that are sub $200….. and let’s face it, you get what you pay for. 3V is obviously FAR superior to anything used by Joker…. there’s a reason why they’re priced where there at.
not really, the joker nordico is probably the closest. imo 4mm is a little bit thick for a normal scandi grind, even the jokers at 3.7mm perform better with a higher grind. I reground the nordico to a higher scandi and the performance difference is noticeable for carving tasks. 2-3mm for a scandi is optimal, 3.5mm is my limit. Cheers good luck!
The Nordico looks like my Casstrom Lars Fault. Obviously named as such. Would be interesting to see the difference in quality? I have the Joker Nomad 6.5. Its a beast of a knife and affordable 👍❤
The 6.5nomad has been on my radar since coming out for sure! the nordico is very similar thickness though a touch smaller overall to the lars falt. lars falt probably has I slightly nicer leather quality in its sheath too. I ended up regrinding the nordico to a higher scandi grind and it performs even better now, for me the 4mm thick scandi is a touch obtuse for woodcraft. thanks for watching!
Those woods look like my woods. PNW??? Great review mate. I bought the Nessmuk with the walnut handles and its fast becoming my absolute favorite camp knife despite a not-insignifigant collection of nice knives from ESSEE, Tops and Bradford. I only wish they had a micarta option since I'm also in the went PNW. Worst case scenario I'll make my own Micarta scales.
I have a Joker Bowie 25 and a Puma catcher both are made in Spain ,. The Big difference is the price. I can get three Jokers for the price of one Puma, I collect and use good knives..
I would love a side by side with .bps knives .i got a couple of them .i know they're budget but still out of reach of the average joe need to see a lot more field testing
It's amazing how many companies keep coming out with Nessmuk knives aimed at Bushcraft. Nessmuk is a skinner and game processing knife, that's the entire point of the shape. That's why he had his Nessmuk Trio. But since Bushcraft is all the rage, mostly with people who don't know WTF they're doing, they get sold stupid creations like scandi and saber Nessmuk style knives because "they look cool".
@@Hadrada. No, I consider it 100% useless. Scandi isn't necessary to begin with if you have skill. A scandi has 1 use - wood work. It's crap at every other task. So what use could you possible come up with for taking a Nessmuk blade meant specifically for skinning game and putting a wood working grind on it? Wood work and skinning couldn't be more polar opposite uses. Scandi is meant to bite into the wood, which is what you don't want when skinning, especially if you want to brain tan your hide. If you only know Nessmuk as a blade shape, then you seriously need to look up George W. Sears, aka Nessmuk, and read about him and/or his writings (Woodcraft and Camping, at least)
@@Swearengen1980 thanks I will take a look I thought that yea it does look cool but thought the shape would be better for chopping to delimb branches as described in video Better that a normal shaped scandi?
Problem with the bone handle is if you drop it on a hard surface as a rock or cement.....it can Crack or get damaged.....and you end up with a useless knife.....something that will not happen with wood or micarta.
great video… excellent review. I am between the Nomad and the Campero. Though decision! I own an Esee PR4 which may be similar to the Campero for camping duties. Any thoughts?
my personal favorite is the campero with the nomad close behind, for very different reasons. There isn't a wrong choice, just whether you want a beefy harder use knife or a more elegant camp knife. If I was lost in the woods I would want the nomad for example, it is also better at wood processing, batoning, light chopping etc. But if you have an axe, the axe is better at that stuff so the campero becomes a better choice. Apples and oranges my friend
Terrano is more robust at 4mil thick, longer blade, n690 holds an edge longer but is less tough, the handle is slimmer, sheath is slightly better. I like the overall design of the Campero more though. It's a tough choice honestly so I think it depends on what size you are after
Great review, lucky dog got all five. They are awesome value, a nice step up, in terms of style and material, from the simple utility of Moras. Great sheaths too.
@@stuartb9194 my Bushlore doesn't get much love anymore even though it's a perfectly fine knife. I give it to noob friends to use camping and they think it's the bomb. They won't be touching the jokers let's just say that 😁
@@TheDaveDryden Jokers are way better than Condors, both in materials, fit and finish and overall quality. Condor is super budget level, worse than 10$ Moras. Jokers are better than Moras, close to middle of the road knives with great if not perfect fit and finish for their prices. (Most Spanish knives, like Nieto, Joker and Muela, all come with absolutely crazy fit and finish, plus perfect heat treatments on their steels, only downside, is the fact they only use low grade steels) A bit underated knives, Joker desings are more clever, and they use a bit better steels than the rest Spanish makers too, which made the Spanish knives quality. more familiar all over the world the later years!
I'm in the Yukon wilderness alot and have been attacked by both grizzly bear and Lynx the knife you'll notice yukoners carry will be with a point incase needed for stabbing motion nobody carries clip or drop points ever, something to keep in mind when going into the predators land
Got am Ember few days ago.Olive wood, blade perfect, sheath great except snaps.Dont stay closed, have to replace Small complaint, but why no quality on such a simple thing?
That specific Nessmuk might be hard to find in the states, you can order it from a Spanish knife site and pay shipping if you are dead set on stag horn. They sent it to me like I said so handle material availability might differ depending where and when
Hi Dave, If possible and if you still have the knives, can you try and take them all and hold up in the light and check the gap between liner and blade? I have 6 jokers and only 2 of them is good, the others have pretty big gaps between liner/blade/handle. Its frustrating as I really like the knifes 😊 Have a nice day, Anders I have 6 knives from joker,
all mine are good, if you got some gaps going on you can always get some epoxy and spread it over/in it to seal it up, lightly sand it afterwards. Ive had handles peel from other knives before and that worked, but not the jokers.
@@ShoahBiz a true full tang is exactly that full tang it is not skeletonized the only holes in it or where the fasteners used to attached the handles are required, no cut outs, no lighting holes no internal milling whatever you want call it. FULL TANG and skeletonized full tang is not a true full tang even Winkler states in his descriptions as do many makers and companies that if the tang is skeletonized that it is a skeletonized full tang and not just full tang. Thanks for the reply, I can scratch these off my list.
@@michaelcope2329 LOL what a dumb response. A skeletonized full tang is still a full tang. A properly skeletonized knife will not break at the handle but will break on the blade first. A renown custom maker actually made a video recently because of people like you…he wasted a perfectly good knife to show you doubters that your point has no merit. Enjoy your heavy ass, improperly balanced knives.

@@ShoahBiz I do not have any social media, I'm old school. I stay away from it because I view it as poison to humanity. I've been blessed beyond measure in this life and in a lot of places where I spend my money I operate off the philosophy of don't make perfect the enemy of the good and I will comprise, however, I have a few areas where I strictly operate off of No Compromise. The full tang thing is one of those. I put out 5,000lbs of feed corn yesterday, by hand in 50lb bags, 1 bag at time, most of which had to be walked in 80 yards or so due to feeder location. My hands are plenty strong an ounce of weight on a knife or perhaps 2 or 3 ounces even, doesn't bother me in the least. I'll gladly take the extra "weight" to know the tang on my fixed blade hasn't been made to look like swiss cheese. I appreciate the offer of the video, very kind of you. Take Care
Great video! I own a few Joker knives. My favorite is the Canadiense which is very similar to the Nessmuk knife. I chop a lot of cukes and I’m getting better and better at it. 😊 your wife’s pick is the right one. Which one is yours? Thanks! Cheers from La Belle Province 👍
I get that all the time "what do you want for your birthday/Christmas?" Me "knives." Don't you want anything else, like a normal person present like headphones or something? Me "No, I like knives." 😂
@@TheDaveDryden well I used to always ask for socks because it made sense. This last Christmas it was the Kailash khukuri. My wife and best friend worked together to get it for me, even if it did arrive months after the holiday!
I often use a lighter in recent videos, I recommend having both. Ferro rods are very hard to break and 100% waterproof. They also "look cool" and are more "bushcrafty" lol. Lighters are the better tool overall for firemaking though.
That Nordico red leather sheath looks amazing. I wonder if I can fit any other knives in it. I just got my Campero today. Super comfortable in hand, and a keen edge. I love their ferro rods with the handles matching the knives. The fit and finish i flawless and the prices are unbeatable. The Nomad has been out of stock for months, I am still waiting for it. The Lynx is also a good choice. They are also going to release a new Nomad with longer blade.
Hello my name is _________, and I'm from "UTube channel name". I'm here to talk about a brand of sporting knives, one in particular called "Joker". The "Joker" brand of knives is a world renowned Spanish company that makes traditional handcrafted sporting knives. These knives have a full stainless steel Tang with micarta handle. Some of the handles are equipped with a lanyard hole and or lanyard. Lanyard could be placed around your wrist in case you slip you don't lose your knife somewhere down a mountainside. You could also find many uses for that lanyard. Some of the knives have different kinds of notches which actually have a function. For example some notches have a gut hook when you're cleaning your prey. Some of these notches are a dual rest for your forefinger and a designated stopping point for the sharp edge. One side is called a finger choil any other are sharpening choil. Yeah I think it's best that when you do a review you understand the Dynamics of knives. It's not how they look cool it's their function, how they're made, and their purpose. It's also nice that you let someone know what it's made out of the length of the blade, how much it weighs whether it's full Tang or not. Instead of pounding on these like a caveman.
I have no idea what kind of knife you bought. I own various Joker knives, including some of the ones shown here. They are leather sheaths and not bonded like you say!
Yeah, I think you got a Wish knockoff... I own 3 Joker knives, all 3 with quality leather sheaths! I've been carrying 1 model for over 3 years now, sheath is hanging in there like a champ!! My advice: don't buy knives off eBay!!
Couldn't agree more, excellent knives. I collect and have over eighty in total of various makes. My go to is the Joker Lynx. Top value for money and the sheaths are 'proper' leather. Only trouble is - I want every Joker made!
I used to search for the perfect knife for me for decades... The result is, there is no perfect knife out there. They all will lack something or 2 or more. That being said, there are some knives, that I feel are the BEST I've used. Those are: (Manly Patriot in CPM154, perfect EDC,foodprep general utility knife) . (Lionsteel M4 general utility outdoors knife). (TRC Knives Mille Cuori Best combat knife, soldiers knife, does it all except chopping and performs great at all! Super special knife!) (Survive Knives GSO 4.7 similar as the Mille Cuori, not the perfect steel that the Mille Cuori has, but not very far either) ( LT Wright Genesis and almost anything they do!) (Bark River Bravo 1 LT Cruwear/Gunny versions too, just check them before getting them, not the quality they used to have anymore..) (Any Morakniv....Kansbol/2000 for general use, Bushcraft Black for Bushcraft/fire knife) (Falkniven F1/S1/A1 preferably in COS steel) IF you want a better knife than any of these, then take some time to think of your personal preferences, and then find one of the hundreds custom makers out there, to ask him to make you your DREAM knife!!! Stay sharp and always carry bandages!!!
Where is the lynx? You left their best knife out of this video. One of the best kydex sheaths in the business, and a great high saber grind with a beautiful full handle grip. You are missing out bud.
What a trainspotter! Sometimes you see an individual with soft white office hands using a tool, and it looks so awkward you just know they work in IT or are a librarian …. The wife just walked in and said …”Why do these people doing these videos have the most boring, annoying voices” 🤣
If you like this video you may like my best bushcraft axe video! ua-cam.com/video/zWgn98wGYaU/v-deo.html

I've been drawn towards the casstrom woodsman for bushcraft. Do Joker do an equivalent? Thanks
not really, the joker nordico is probably the closest. imo 4mm is a little bit thick for a normal scandi grind, even the jokers at 3.7mm perform better with a higher grind.
Vancouver Island here!
Why do you think the nessmuk is your favourite
Why does that shape make it better also is yours scandi?
Thanks

I have a Joker Bowie 25 and a Puma catcher both are made in Spain ,. The Big difference is the price. I can get three Jokers for the price of one Puma, I collect and use good knives..
How would you care for the curly birch and walnut handles?
I would love a side by side with .bps knives .i got a couple of them .i know they're budget but still out of reach of the average joe need to see a lot more field testing
It's amazing how many companies keep coming out with Nessmuk knives aimed at Bushcraft. Nessmuk is a skinner and game processing knife, that's the entire point of the shape. That's why he had his Nessmuk Trio. But since Bushcraft is all the rage, mostly with people who don't know WTF they're doing, they get sold stupid creations like scandi and saber Nessmuk style knives because "they look cool".
But don’t you still think that a Nessmuk with scandi can still have its uses?
But don’t you still think that a Nessmuk with scandi can still have its uses?
@@Swearengen1980 thanks I will take a look
I thought that yea it does look cool but thought the shape would be better for chopping to delimb branches as described in video
Better that a normal shaped scandi?
@@Swearengen1980 thanks I’ve just looked into him and sounds really interesting and I’ve found his book online that I will read 👍🏼
I have two 14C28N micarta handle Nordicos with scandi grind. Very lovely knives and my go to!
They are great!
Nice review. So far I only have the campero and I love it. I definitely whould like to pick up a couple more models.
Campero is a great knife. Can't really go wrong with any of them it's more about the style you want to try
@@TheDaveDryden You are right…. Thanks for your prompt answer!
I have the Nordico and ground the guard as well. The Canadiene is a nice little knife, Nessmuck looking.
Joker Nomad!!
I am really glad you were given more than one to review. They all look so freakin sweet
Me too they are really cool knives!
I would like to hear your thoughts on the Nieto Terrano va the Joker Campero?
Terrano is more robust at 4mil thick, longer blade, n690 holds an edge longer but is less tough, the handle is slimmer, sheath is slightly better. I like the overall design of the Campero more though. It's a tough choice honestly so I think it depends on what size you are after
A very nice comparison, welk done
Great review, lucky dog got all five. They are awesome value, a nice step up, in terms of style and material, from the simple utility of Moras. Great sheaths too.
Can't really go wrong with them, good value knives competes with condor that hits all those bushcraft itches!
@@TheDaveDryden way better steels than Condors 1075
I know Joker is cheaper than Casström but I was happy to pay extra for my Casström knives.
I hope Joker and Lion Steel come out with MagnaCut Knives.
Great review!
Thank you
I was looking for the nessmuck in stag. I don't see anywhere in the United States. Prices would be nice too.
That specific Nessmuk might be hard to find in the states, you can order it from a Spanish knife site and pay shipping if you are dead set on stag horn. They sent it to me like I said so handle material availability might differ depending where and when
Cool knives do they all the 90° spine? I'm looking for a big camp knife that can do it al I like all definitely the Nomad.
Awesome presentation!💫🔪🤙🏽
The wood handles shouldn’t swell. They have to be stabilized “ vacuumed in epoxy “.
I have my eyes on Joker Lynx 111-F it comes with kydex sheath it's 4.13 on Amazon I don't like leather sheath $126 I probably ordered in April
Hi Dave,
If possible and if you still have the knives, can you try and take them all and hold up in the light and check the gap between liner and blade? I have 6 jokers and only 2 of them is good, the others have pretty big gaps between liner/blade/handle.
Its frustrating as I really like the knifes 😊
Have a nice day,
Anders
I have 6 knives from joker,
all mine are good, if you got some gaps going on you can always get some epoxy and spread it over/in it to seal it up, lightly sand it afterwards. Ive had handles peel from other knives before and that worked, but not the jokers.
I think mentioning the Nessmuk’s utility as a skinner would be a fair addition for it’s survival purpose. Food & game prep is key to survival too.
Would a Nessmuk still work as a skinner if scandi?
Good video! Subscribed!
Great review!
👍
Have you tried the lynx hoker
not yet
Do these have true full tangs or skeletonized full tangs?
a skeletonized full tang is a true full tang..what do you mean? I’d hope they had seneltojized tangs
@@michaelcope2329 you have a twitter, by chance? I’ll gladly send you the link to the vid but UA-cam doesn’t take too kindly to links in comments. A properly skeletonized tang is not a weak point
Take Care
Just ordered the Nessmuk, doesn't come with the fire steel or stag handles, but, I like walnut handles anyways
Awesome, you won't be disappointed. Each knife has different handle options for personal preference!
@@TheDaveDryden I am going to replace the snaps with cutlers screws though.
@@mem7048 has a belt loop too that's riveted in you don't need to use the dangler
Good review, enjoyable watch
Thank you!
I bought one for a friend. Erizo I think it is.
Good review!

Great job thanks.

Dude - level match your intro groove to the rest of your audio.
Good looking knifes 🤠
👌
I ground down my Nordico guard as well.
Nice looking lineup there! I am told I have too many knives already and maybe I do!
Or maybe not lol.
I sold my ember and I regret it every day... Now I can't buy them anymore on Amazon .....
Very nice
thank you!
I always like to keep a good fixed blade on me when I go swimming. You never know when you are going to need it. But I never saw a knife float 😂😝
What's the big deal about rods why doesn't anyone just carry a lighter?
I often use a lighter in recent videos, I recommend having both. Ferro rods are very hard to break and 100% waterproof. They also "look cool" and are more "bushcrafty" lol. Lighters are the better tool overall for firemaking though.
I am sad that I ran into joker so late especially now that I have 8 of their knives in my cart and can only afford 2 a month lol ..
There is a shipping charge of $21.95 for these knives on Amazon. That's a bit rich. I can't do that.
Still priced well even with that shipping fee. They do actually come from Spain
@@TheDaveDryden I could almost get a Mora Robust for that shipping fee. I'll have to pass. Hopefully they find a way to knock that charge down.
@@properpropaganda9831 maybe an north American dealer will pick them up
That Nordico red leather sheath looks amazing.
I bought one, the Joker Nordico with K720 Steel....i will never buy one again. For me, bad Quallity Knifes.
Canal en español?
The sheaths are made from bonded leather, which means sawdust leather glued together in a blender, and compressed under pressure.
Thanks for letting us know! Bonded sucks.
I just checked my Joker knives. All three use real leather.
The Nomad would be the only one I'd spend my money on.
I've always loved Jokers Nessmuk
It's a well done knife. Great general camp knife that can do it all and looks sweet.
I used to search for the perfect knife for me for decades... The result is, there is no perfect knife out there. They all will lack something or 2 or more. That being said, there are some knives, that I feel are the BEST I've used. Those are:
(Manly Patriot in CPM154, perfect EDC,foodprep general utility knife) .
I agree there isn't the perfect knife as all have slightly different performances in all tasks and they will all have pros and cons. 👍
