Angela Davis, a 26-year old Black American philosophy
teacher and Communist, is on trial in California
on charges of murder and kidnapping. According to
police evidence, she bought the guns used in the
courtroom shootout in San Rafael, California on
August 7th 1970, when Jonathan Jackson seized
hostages to free his brother George Jackson, one of
the so-called "Soledad Brothers". Her supporters say
the charges against her are false.

So many fighters for justice had trumped up charges put on them, just in order to have people believe that fighters of justice were criminals. This was done to dismantle those groups.

Is there a part 2? I want to see what happened in court and how she successfully defended herself against the chump up charges.
She had a good set of very experienced lawyers but she delivered her defense address herself. The defense destroyed the prosecution case and the all white jury had to come back with a not guilty vote

First of all, I don't know why they were accusing Angela Davis everyone has 0% of proof. Like why? So I'm glad she stood up for herself, same thing with Mumia Abu Jamal THEY HAVE NO PROOF!!!
They knew that she didn't do anything, this was a plot to destroy civil rights groups and people who wanted a revolution, a change.
The guns were registered to her.
And Mumia Abu Jamal IS STILL LOCKED UP!!!

Angela bought the guns. Just as guilt as the killers pulling the triggers. Shame on everyone deifying this murderer.
She BOUGHT the guns for herself and her security team. She was getting threats on her life, and no activist in the Black liberation movement of that time with an ounce of intelligence simply laughed off those threats. If you want to call Angela Davis a criminal, then you'd better be prepared to prove that she was in on some conspiracy to cause the bloody incidents that happened..
She fled within hours of the shooting, bought all of the guns used in the crime. To me that says it all. Guilty
I mean if you poke the bear repeatedly what do you expect to happen you’re gonna fight back right? I mean for centuries blacks were literally bullied bc of what the color of their skin let’s see how you react if the roles were reversed
