I liked Chita. Even though in the day one I was doubting it. Despite it being one of the poorest and criminal regions of Russia - I never felt in danger here. Sometimes you need to spend some time in the city before judging by the area surrounding the train station heh. However, I had in my plans to show you some of the magnificient Soviet Enginering achivments in the next videos and some local Siberian cultures like Buryatia, the region in Russia which was a part of Mongolia, the biggest continental Empire in history. However, with all this mobilization and stuff - will see how it all turns...

Interesting to know the Bolsheviks took advantage of the Dekabrists ( Декабристы) for their own crude ideas as dekabrists were officers and intellectuals, often aristocrats, Bolesheviks were fighting! So coming from an educated family can provide difficulties in life in Russia ...😅

Prices of such fast food more or less aligns to the GDP per capita per country... simplest hamburger in Luxembourg costs like 20 euros (no drink of course) 😂 You can guess if it is too much or too low price for hamburger in some country, just by comparing GDP per capita of different countries.
Luxembourg is like 2X that of Australia.
Australia is like 4-5X of Russia.
Russia is like -9X of Luxembourg.

I really liked this video. What is happening in that city is quite normal here in South Africa. The problem starts at the level of the mayor or the provincial executives and city executives who must enforce law and order. But, it is a culture of where these "gatekeepers" are in the pockets of the city criminals or mafia, whatever these Adidas gangs call themselves. It happens because the Adidas gangs are in charge of the city and deal in drugs and counterfeit products and the gatekeepers look the other way because they get a cut of the profits. The provincial budget is not being used to clean and maintain roads, sidewalks, recreational areas and buildings. It is used to have parties and live in luxury while the Adidas gangs run the city the way it suits them, without law and order. At 4.25 in the clip it looks like the guy was selling cannabis 😂. Because it is legal to grow and smoke weed in South Africa, here in Cape Town you can buy it all over in the streets and lots of counterfeit products like Adidas, Nike, Ray Ban, etc. But the quality of the street cannabis is not premium. Sometimes I get good quality cannabis from a friend and then I bake brownies and other edibles.
It is the first city in Russia that I see have litter everywhere, the people have no pride and the gangs rule the city. Thanks, I enjoyed this. If ever you visit South Africa you will see that although Cape Town is the most beautiful city in the country, the rest of the country is like this Chita in Eastern Siberia. 🇷🇺❤️🇷🇺

I was surprised when I first went to a shopping mall in the Urals, they were very nice, modern shops that were designed and laid out just like any shop I would visit at home.
The clothes were so cheap, I thought we are so ripped off in the west.
Then I looked closer and found it was all fake and actually after my eyes tuned into this I could see that they were very poor quality fakes..
I'm not saying all shops sell fake gear but you need to pay attention, especially when you go out of the big cities.

In any case, the city looks clean and very safe if you compare it with the dangerous areas of Buenos Aires (villa 1-11-14, villa St. Petersburg - yes, there is a marginal settlement with the name of your city due to the name of a street on which it is located-, villa 20 -Ciudad Oculta-, etc... And the most dangerous area is in the city of Rosario (province of Santa Fe), there it is "no man's land" (in the broad sense of the expression)🙄

Aisin-Gioro Puyi, the last emperor of China was held as a prisoner at the Chita sanatorium for officers in 1945 by the Soviet authorities. Some historians have commented that, from time to time, Chita has been distinguished by having the greatest concentration of intellectuals in the world.
