I agree with your review. I too, was disappointed with the imagery and lack of diversity. Four or five cards with vague representations of others out of 50 does not qualify this as a diverse deck to me. The imagery of Yemoja is questionable though Her name is spelled correctly. BUT...the guidebook is a fantastic resource for biographical information. I used the deck at the conclusion of a client's past life session simply because I had it on hand. When my client drew Marguerite Porete and read the information, we both gasped! The time period, the community, the flames! Everything confirmed her consultation. So while the images are meh and the layout of the guidebook is frustrating, this may prove to be a useful oracle for other purposes. Only time will tell.

Thank you so much for this review. I was really on the fence about this one. I read from the artwork as well and wasn't sure if this would speak to me. Also I'm finding it hard to connect with decks that are filled with different Ascended Masters, Deities, Goddess etc. I've been using decks like this in my altar work, but not in Readings. It's just too many energies in one deck or something. I am loving the Soulful Woman Guidance cards this Summer Season to connect with the Divine Feminine. The artwork really takes me places. Also do you have videos that help you narrow down your collection and figure out which decks to pass on? Thank you! Blessed Be! ✌️💓💓💓
I am a visual person as well and the art on the deck has to speak to me. I can see what you mean about this deck, the images are "off" for some reason to me. I do like the Goddesses and Sirens Oracle deck though, would love to see you do a review on it :) I haven't bought it YET, and I stress yet because I have a wishlist going and that is one of the decks on it!!
It’s like Stepford Wives Goddesses... very creepy... thanks for speaking out about diversity in ages and bodies as well as race and ethnicity.... I feel like a voice crying in the wilderness when mentioning this...
Fully agreed. What happens when people are used is that they don’t have the aura or energy of the actual goddess so it doesn’t feel right. As readers we read energy and probably all we are reading is the model’s energy and it doesn’t jive with that goddess. Thanks for your honest review.
I am so happy to hear you hate the art, because as someone who follows a Tibetan Buddhist path I definitely do! There is absolutely NO excuse to show Green Tara standing, hip to one side, skinny, weird hand mudra, looking like a fashion model when her particular iconography is as well known in the Buddhist world as Christ on the cross is to Christians. Green Tara's "intention" also is very well known to be about swiftly coming to the aid of anyone who needs it and calls on her - not some vague new age thing about following your heart. That image and intention are fine, but don't call it Green Tara! I so wanted to love this deck, especially from the box image, but as soon as I saw poor Tara I gave it a wide berth. PS Machig Labdron is the "Diamond hearted dakini"?!! First time I've heard that! I will be stunned if anyone can back that up other than the bit about being a dakini. If little or nothing was known about a culture then I can more or less forgive making things up, but not when it comes to Buddhism.

Great! Same as you I’ve seen a few images on Instagram and felt drawn to the deck because I feel like I need to work with feminine energy, so purchased the deck... and then have seen this video... still waiting for the cards, but not so excited now. Usually I do check the reviews before buying anything, but the cards was relatively cheap 😅

I completely agree with you on all the points you've made. I'm going to keep it though because I'm so in love with the backings and the book is interesting. The deck has quite a nice energy though. I try not to look at the faces ;))
I got the CBR goddesss deck and it was terrible, just felt like plastic m, returned in a day. This is pretty but might leave me feeling the same way. Will look at goddesses and sirens. There's a couple others but I don't love them .
This deck really looks like such a fit for me, although I don’t own it and have no budget for it right now. Lol I don’t have too many complaints about the art...although the Freya card is odd with a capital O. What I think I like about the deck is that it sounds like the guidebook could really be a help for me in learning because I am so new to deity, particularly the feminine divine. I do get your concerns about the art though. ~Krislynner

Their faces all creep me out. They have this vacant-eyed expression as they stare out from the card.
I haaaaaaate photo manipulation decks, so I'm glad you showed this one to us. I love the idea behind it, but I just would not be able to work with those cards.
veryberry39 Agreed. I saw the pics during the pre-order and a few of the images looked cross-eyed to me.
Great review! Photo manipulation is hit or miss for me. If it is done well then it can be amazing but usually, it falls flat and often looks incredibly unnatural and awkward looking. I had no interest in this particular deck but seeing the images, especially the depiction of Freyja, it's a definite no from me. But then again, I have yet to see an oracle deck do Freyja justice for me.
That's how I felt with the Starchild honestly.

i always google image these decks i like that you review, and the colors pop out even more then i thought. basically if a deck has kuan yin in it, i buy it XD looks likea good deck! totally off topic, is Talula still around?

i was afraid of that. i dont keep up on every video so that mustve been while i was pregnant. i understand losing an animal and i have a cat that is close to it as well. its borderline if not actually trumatizing.
I watched in and boxing out of this deck and immediately realized it was not for me for all the reasons you have stated. I also didn’t understand all the saints being Included in the deck when there are so many goddesses who could’ve been included. Sorry I just don’t think it as divine.

I picked up on that right off as well about using the same faces, which really turns me off too! My other complaint is that certain races people are not as attractive as others. So if you are going to portray beautiful people, then find beautiful models in all the races, please! There is nothing more upsetting than seeing this if you are of a different race when it comes to yours!!!
It's a shame when the guide book is so good. The art work looks very contrived.
