Its 3AM and I'm craving a roll on that foam roller. Wanting to order one on Amazon but I doubt it will get here in 2 weeks due to covid19 pandemic.

Hey Matt, I do have a question.
I have been reading up on myofascial release and massage but I've come across people saying that foam rolling won't necessarily release trigger points since you aren't breaking the adhesions.
I started using a lacrosse ball and it's alot better because the PVC pipe wasn't helping anymore.
So is it just that I need a more intense stimuli or is there a difference between massage and myofascial release??
    Thank you.

This was super useful, especially because i don’t want to give money nor space to an object of a single purpose.

Hi Matt, I have been diagnosed with AVN-hip Joints... doctors are suggesting hip replacement surgery but I refused. I am trying some physiotherapy exercises for last one month but not helpful as my doctor say stop exercise even if you feel 1% of pain. So I am not able to do any exercises. I saw your hip related exercises and feel hopeful and trying some of them at home. So I really want to know that are those hip exercises useful in AVN ? Please advice I will be very thankful. I also want to know if you do personal training’s in Asian countries? Because I am Indian and it will not be possible for me to fly to your place. Please please please help me out and reply to this comment. Or share your mail Id so that I can discuss in detail.
